Shoujo Phoenix Shadowix *does her English homework halfheartedly* I mean, what kind of honors-English tenth-grader doesn't know what subject-verb agreement is? xp They thought seniors wouldn't know it either... xd *flops on to the ground* college ain't gonna be any more exciting when it comes to english accademics....... stare

Shadowix Suyo Shadowix *does her English homework halfheartedly* I mean, what kind of honors-English tenth-grader doesn't know what subject-verb agreement is? xp The ones that don't like teaching, and are noticeably absent from my current school. Yay for teachers who like their job! Mrs. Malcolm doesn't like her job--she likes what she THINKS is her job, which attempting to educate the dim-witted people in her classes at the expense of all the intelligent ones. It's HONORS English. In tenth grade. People who don't know this stuff shouldn't even be here; people who do should just be expected to already know it and therefore not forced to review it. I've known subject-verb agreement since the fourth grade or sooner. What is this world coming to? I concur. I had that problem last year, but not this year. whee I'm going to a very... odd school. It's in the public school system now, but only because they pulled it in to raise their statistics. It began as a private school, and is pretty much still one in the way it operates. It's very unique, and the teachers are all really good. Though, our English teacher is old, and scatterbrained. She gives assignments she doesn't collect, and tries to collect assignments she didn't give. But, she usually forgets to grade them, so it doesn’t matter. She's a good teacher, despite all that.

Shoujo Phoenix I'm not in an English class this semester. It makes me sad...I actually miss English. gonk I love English. I grew up with it (Mom's an English major), and it's pretty much the only subject I can ace without even trying. Your school sounds cool, Suyo. That teacher sounds familiar, too...I think my friend had a civics teacher very similar to her.

Shadowix I love English. I grew up with it (Mom's an English major), and it's pretty much the only subject I can ace without even trying. Me too!!! gonk
