Lily clung to Arlen for a moment, then gently disengaged. "I'm going to go cook. It'll... clear my mind." she whispered, giving Arlen a quick kiss before heading back into the kitchen.

While Lily cooked in the kitchen, Cerri had tried to sneak out of her bed without waking Guan. She doubted the venture would be successful, even half-hoped that it wouldn't be, but still... she had to try. After easing to the floor, she looked back at the man, chewing her lower lip.

"You were supposed to wake up so I don't have to just leave a note." she added, voice still hushed, watching him. "So come on... please?"
