And since when doesn being psychic mean that you talk to ghosts? I always thought MEDIUMS talked to ghosts, and that psychics were like telekenetics, telepaths, pyrokenetics, and the like.

I always thought MEDIUMS talked to ghosts, and that psychics were like telekenetics, telepaths, pyrokenetics, and the like. Actually, the psychic phenomena is split in two main groups. Extra-Sensory Perception and Anomalous Operation. Mediumship is placed under Anomalous Operation along with Psychokinesis (used to be known as Telekenises,) Out-of-body experiences, Astral Projection, and a few other things.
