ok there is a difference between hard work and talent but i believe naruto and sasuke are both prodigies of hard work as well as rock lee for that matter lol

But anyone can be a prodigy of hard work if they have the drive and that deserves respect. I just do not like the sharingan and the Rinnengan but the Hyuuga's ability yes.

Lol you can't get through to this guy? LOL so your saying ITACHI wouldn't be a prodigy because he has a Kekkei Genkai?!? A Bloodline Limit is NATURAL ABILITY its genetic? So if you don't possess a advance linage you can't call yourself a prodigy because its unfair that your were born with a NATURAL gift....................Ridicilous...... stare

I am just saying that the lineage is just a handicap in a video game.

I think the Hyuuga is another doujutsu that over-powered as well as it can damage your internal organs no matter how strong your are! You could be a kage-level shinobi but if a hyuuga is able to strike your internal organs with lethal blows your verenable as a genin. No one can't train organs so thats why they target them and I think thats a pretty powered ability and shouldn't be put outside the loop of "over-powered" clans. but I don't know why people don't think the hyuuga's are over powered tho but the Uchiha's or Rinnegan user OHHH their GODLY!! LOL XD

LOL XD Well the hyuuga have to actually be faster than the kage. Which i highly doubt that would happen. Lol. But yes it is overpowered but you just do not see it as often as the uchiha/Naruto/Renningan/Shikotsuyomi.

All Taishiro is saying is that the Uchiha have help in being extremely talented where as others (such as Zabuza) are extremely talented naturally. In his opinion, there are two different types of "prodigy" (natural and hard-work), one more deserving of respect than the other.
There are good points to each side. All this is is an argument of opinion, in which case both of you are right and wrong. The whole reason for the Naruto story is to follow the paths of these extremely talented young shinobi (although in my opinion Naruto sucked before Shippuuden). Whether or not they'd still be prodigies with/without a certain ability is pointless to argue about. We'll never know.
Think of it this way, if Naruto didn't have the 9 tail he would have been defeated BIG TIME by every opponent he came across while he was a Genin. Hell, the only reason he became a Genin was because he was able to make so many Kage Bushins. If you flip it, if he still had parents and was not a jinchuriki then he would of been trained by one of the most powerful in all of Konoha. I think that would definitely give him a big leg up over all other shinobi. Either way, who the hell knows or cares? Lets all just be friends, lol.
EDIT: I wrote all this, and NOW you guys stop fighting. Oh well, I'm keeping it up because I spent lots of writing energy to do write it lol. And it's good food for thought. Non-argumental thought though!

Lol No fighting or arguing but debating...
But oddistic has just put a whole new spin on things. Would Itachi still be seen as a Prodigy if he wasn't a Uchiha but a normal shinobi or maybe of a different clan like a Hyuuga or Nara. There's alot of things that can be put into acount for but heres what I was saying. Don't just say someone is "this" or "that" because of what they have, give them credit for what they done thats all. Because "that" thing just doesn't make him or her that person its much more than that. XD
