No one likes being wrong. But some people in particular can't handle it because of an unwarranted sense of self-importance or intellect.

So they inevitably play it off with the "I don't care" bit, when it actually eats them up inside because someone just showed that they haven't even the faintest idea of what they were talking about. It's a blow to a person's ego when they get caught BSing about knowledge they don't have, especially when said person presumes to have an ego over what they think they know.

Which is why I still have him on my ignore list, and probably will for the duration of this tournament. I'm not going to deal with personal attacks by some guy who's butt-hurt over the fact that he didn't know his a** from his ear on a subject. Since I have a pretty low chance of fighting him, I'm pretty comfortable with keeping him there for quite a while, at least until he stops whatever BAAAAWing he's no doubt been doing.

If there was no story behind GTB, I wouldn't be here. Prize money is a nice incentive, but it's also a good reason for people to BS their way through otherwise fun fights.
