Now I'm having massive virus trouble with the computer. Thor knows, it's the same thing I had before that had 50 ads rape my internet browser. Now it's got this ******** black corner thing, whenever it appears on a page(which is every time I go to another page) it won't let me click anything on the page at all and I have to refresh. Took me five tries just to log in to post this...

So...I got the virus scanner that my internet provider offers, and after three scans the strange popups STILL rape my browser. I don't know what to do to get rid of it.

Happens in IE and Chrome. I don't have FireFox.

The only thing I can think of is to uninstall your browser and then re-install it. Not sure if it will work if it's across browsers.

This problem has been presenting itself for a few days every month or so. I got the virus scanner after it started flaring up this time around so I'm hoping if the problem goes away that the scanner will pick it up before it happens again. It's obivously not picking it up now...

I know I'm dense when it comes to computers, but could it be something benign that the scanner wouldn't pick up, or at least perceive as a threat? Maybe a cookie or something?
