No worries Hartley. No one is going to come between you and your fruit pies.

Well that's very comforting, Harold. Did you know that there are Black Lanterns hanging around here trying to rip my heart out? As much as I love fruit pies, despite their responsibility for that 10 extra pounds I packed on between the 1985 and 1993 Who's Whos, could you perhaps kindly give a green-energy-powered thought in that direction?

So, Harold....how much grappa do I have to pour down your gullet before you concoct lurid stories about the two of us?

You know, you're lucky Poison Ivy isn't in the Nexus. If she found out someone was opening a flower shop, you'd be fending off killer plants and evil roots for months.
Oooooh, vanilla. My favorite...

So wait, Doctor Strange can open a Starbucks in the Nexus with no problem, but an independently-owned, non-chain business can't?
Sigh, corporate greed at it's zenith.
::bites into his pie as if he is biting off the head of the capitalist status quo of coffee shops choking out all other business in the area::

I blame all the red tape at the company. They're just not wanting to give me the funding. I tried being nice about it, maybe I should go to them fully dressed in my Canary gear and threaten to kick their a**?

Haha....you said "fully dressed" and "Canary gear" in the same sentence without a hint of irony.

One of the original Divas, that's for sure. I'd name one of my rats after her if I knew her real name. Naming a rat "Black Canary I" seems cruel.

She and I shared a first name.
::leans back and studies her work:: Hmm.. I think I just figured out how this can work... Of course, with this place, I'm not sure if anyone would bother patronizing a flower shop. It's all about Black Lantern's and fighting here.
