I have an American fox hound. Not a mean bone in his body and dumb as a rock. His breed is supposed to be very smart, but then again he isn't even 2 yet.
I have a German-Shepard mix. She'll tear your throat out and sharp as a tack. She has mental issues which we think go back to her previous owners. She is a great dog, but she has these odd spells that totally changes her into a really high state of paranoia. She's coming up on 5 I believe.
I love my doggies.

I like cats, but I believe I am a dog person. I want a Corgi eventually, but we'll see. I'm going to do what my family has always done. Go to the ASPCA, spend some time with every do and choose from that way. Or, in the case of our fox hound, find him abandoned next to a dumpster at a gas station.
