 Oh alright. So, he's nuts. His scythe starts vibrating. So, should I kill him? The scythe started vibrating more furiously. Okay, okay. Jeez. The air around Lance became distorted then extended to his body. In an instant he disappeared and reappeared behind the one called Garland. "Sorry, but I like this world, so I can't let you destroy it." Lance's voice came out in a threatening tone.

Rosa shook her head softly, this was something she didn't quite agree with."I don't believe that is true, Garland. If you work with the light, you have far more people that would protect you against enemy's. They would fight with you, though, If you were of the darkness, you would have no one but you're enemy's..Is that what you want?" She asked him softly, her voice gentle, as she tried to reason with him, perhaps have him see that such desires weren't the right path. "Please...You can't deal with the people like this. There are good people, and there are bad, but we fight to protect the good, I don't want to see anymore suffering, ether..Surly you can't mean this? "
When he took her chin, although it was gentle, she didn't like anyone touching her. With that the blond former Queen moved her head back to slip away from his hand. "...Please don't. That...isn't the way to solve matters..There are children in this world, baby's, you would harm them? "

He stopped for a moment to think. Perhaps the world was a bit more than he had originally seen. Maybe in his rage against the king his mind had become clouded. He was once a knight of the highest calibur, he would have done anything he could have to protect the world, and keep the peace.
In his moment of weakness, a warrior had slipped up behind him. An ambush, she had tricked him into lowering his guard and now he was surrounded on two sides. He growled lowly, shifting his weight around in a quick motion in an attempt to elbow the man behind him directly across the jaw.
"You tricked me, you wanted me to believe for a moment that you actually cared, when in truth you were just waiting on your ally to arrive. How dare you! You will pay for this with your life little woman."

Lance ducked and hooked Garland's foot with his scythe, "Sorry buddy, but this is all me!" He pulled as hard as he could, hoping to trip him.

He was fast, for such a large figure as the Scythe passed around him to get behind his leg he would drop his weight to the other foot, when the weapon was pulled, he would move his foot in the direction of the sweep kicking up his leg to cause it to miss. However this was not the only reason for his leg moving it was also his next attack. If successful the foot would boot the poor man across his jaw with Garland's weight behind it.
Successful or not Garland would take a few steps backward to distance himself from his attacking foe, and get a better grip on the battle. The woman would still be behind him, his arm extending out to the side hand gripped to his cape to block her from the other man's view.
Was he protecting her?

Lance changed to defense so he block Garland's kick, his arm taking the damage instead. Dislodging his scythe he jumped back. "You're pretty good, for such a heavy guy."

"The best knight in all of Cornelia." He spoke, then gazed over his shoulder to the woman. He had found his weakness, a kind woman. Eyes drifted back around to the hooded figure, he growled lightly to the man. "You should leave before I have to actually fight with you, I can promise you will not walk away."

He would shift slightly. "I'm sorry, I have to protect myself from this man. He is giving me no other option." He would move to drop his cloak and grip the handle of his sword, his other hand lifted to grip his helmet and remove it. It was lifted and easily tossed to the side. He could see again, better than he was able to with his vision reduced by the armor.
