Over my dead body.
Yes, he was immediately aware of the irony of that sentance after he said it.
Oh well.
He hopped the bar, prefering the minor exertion of acrobatics to passing within arms reach of Sera. And he seated himself at one of the tables, making well sure a pair of extra chairs were available.
You're the dipshit who adopted ME, as I recall. So quit yer bitchin', kid. You know you love it.

The door creaked. A pair of leather high heeled boots clicked softly. The door swung shut. Daegonna paused just inside the door, planting one delicate, tattooed hand on the curve of her hip. Her yellow snakelike eyes flitted around the room, taking in the patrons in a glance. Then she headed for the bar, and the bottle of wine that was calling to her. Her black leathery tail switched from side to side, the sharp tip making an all but inaudible hiss as it moved. She wore a sleek black dress with spaghetti straps, and a lace hem. The low neckline showed off a bit of cleavage, and the spiralling tribal tattoos that traced along the curves of her collarbones, ending at the hollow of her throat. A lace shawl trimmed with silver beads at the three corners was draped loosely around her slim shoulders, and her hair was pulled up in a bun. A few of her russet corkscrew curls had slipped free, and now framed her sculpted, delicate-featured face. She wore silver bangles around each wrist, and armbands engraved all around with runes around her upper arms. A simple black ribbon encircled her throat, and three silver hoops adorned her left ear, and two adorned her right. A tiny, finely crafted silver chain hung between the little silver ring in her right nostril, and the top earring on her right ear. From the delicate chain hung a number of even daintier charms, little silver pieces in the shape of the same script of runes that ran around the armbands she wore. Daegonna's plump lips twisted in a smirk as she overheard Iden's comment, evidently directed at Red, who she'd seen around and...she paused, staring at the other male. He looked for all the world like Corbin, but with purple hair. She looked away, deciding that his likeness to the Diablerist General was enough reason for her to be cautious and mind her own business, a rare and mighty feat for a seventeen year old girl, particularly considering how hot he was.

GREY loves it. Me... I'm even easier than b***h boy here. And not as afraid of what I am as opposed to who. Mind you, red and blue clash. Better leave you to the evil twin. I resemble that remark. And smell like it. Get a better cologne. So rude... I almost like it. Your original wouldnt talk like that. He's more Severed than I am, and he has the added passengers in his head. You're still mark 2. But that would make me improved, wouldnt it? Admitting it then? In your dreams, uke. Oooh... careful. Pops gets pissy if I start throwing fire around. HE doesnt like it when he cant join in. Give him a reason then. I never said I played nice.
*Two pairs of eyes rotated to Iden. Despite the bickering banter, they were getting on TOO well. And then Sera noticed Dae enter. And picke dup her moment of confusion. A devious smile spread laviciously over his perfect lips, eyes darting briefly to her, before back to Iden. She had been noted, just not acted on yet.*

Iden sat (rather stoically, at that) through the conversation. He was taking brief gulps from his drink as the two bantered, leaving him to his own devices.
Then they turned and glared at him. He was in mid swig at the time, and paused, bottle raised, the contents blurbling their way through his slightly abused digestive track as he raised a brow. It made quite the comical pose...until he blinked and was forced to lower the bottle and cough. Apparently the wrong tube had been put to use, and the nasty little things he called lungs didn't appreciate the treatment.
Mind company?

*The two males looked at each other as Iden walked away, then flanked him on either side, Seraphim moving furtehr over to Dae's far side s that both Iden AND Dae were between Red, on Iden's far side, and Seraphim.*
Now now... its not nice to ignore people. Bars are for socialising pops and I already have father figure issues. And gentlemen should never ignore a beautiful lady, so its only fair he joins our group. I dont believe we've met....
*Beautiful violet eyes turned to Daegonna, the smile soft as rose petals, his lips bruised versions of the same as he gave a half open smile at Daegonna, dipping his head in a quiet bow as he reached for a bottle of red wine and two glasses*

Daegonna felt eyes upon her, and shivered a bit. That would be...whoever he was. She had come to the conclusion, based on the bickering banter, that it was not Corbin. Beyond that, she had no idea. She reached for a bottle of wine, then Iden's voice broke into her thoughts, and she looked up at him, mildly surprised that he'd asked to join her. She didn't complain, though. "Of course." She said, perching herself on a barstool. She crossed her legs at the ankles, and smoothed out the black silk of her skirt. Looking up, she realized that the purple-haired man was gazing straight at her with those lovely violet eyes. Her heart fluttered. She didn't quite meet his gaze. She'd been warned away from Corbin, and although this man wasn't quite the same, he was similar enough to inspire a lot of caution....and a feeling like she was melting inside. She kept him within the range of her peripheral vision, so his silent bow and sweet smile did not escape her notice. Against her better judgment, she glanced his way, and realized he was reaching for a bottle of wine and two glasses. A faint blush crept across her high cheekbones, the rosy tint altogether too obvious against her alabaster skin.

I am socializing, numbnuts. I'm socializing with company far more attractive than you two, for damn sure.
He shrugged, though he didn't look too pleased with the two moving to follow. He thus took another hearty swig, and seated himself by Dae's table.
Great. The disillusioned son, and the dimension hopping ******** with a penchant for fangirls. Just what my day needs. Now all we need is a singing walrus, a coupla dancing girls, and some wierd guy in the background screaming YAHTZEE!
He seemed to be in good cheer, for all his griping. 'Course, that was his poker face, so anyone who actually knew him well enough to know that would likely be skeptical.

Fangirls? You really do fail in the gentleman department Cerberus...
*Red hid his smirk in his drink, as Seraphim poured wine for both himself and Daegonna*
Seraphim Blazeheart. I assume you know Iden for him to be so uncouth in your presence. It would seem we at least have his acquaintance in common.
*He took his own glass in his fingertips, palm over the open rim of the glass, while his other hand picked the second glass up the same, holding it out towards Daegonna, his eyes showing just over the rim of the glass as he smiled at her.
Red in the meanwhile finished HIS drink... and brazenly stole Iden's, exhaling smoke at his adopted father with a slight smirk*
You aint on a winner tonight Dad....

Daegonna didn't miss the 'dimension-hopping ********' comment. That answered a few questions...Sort of. She also made note of the 'penchant for fangirls' and how Iden was addressed as 'Cerberus.' As always, all of the information the half-Daemoness could collect was stored away in case it could be useful. Seraphim Blazeheart? She mused. Interesting....Very interesting. Daegonna smiled a bit. "Daegonna Da'Shae." The girl said, introducing herself. It was odd, but somehow she'd finally adjusted to the use of the name Da'Shae. She didn't mind being one, now that she was the last of the infamous sorceresses. "And yes," she added "I've spent a lot of time at the Turtle, so Iden and I are acquainted." She admitted. Despite how her instincts shrieked against it, she took the offered glass, and smiled sweetly. She avoided his gaze, though she was as polite as possible about it. He was amazingly charming, but her instincts clamored for her to get clear before she got pulled in too deep. Most of it was as simple as an immutable distrust of Corbin, and by dint of association, Seraphim.

.:So THIS is this dimensions Widow... interesting. :.
A pleasure, though why you were cursed to be at Iden's level of osciety is beyond me. Prehaps we can make you evening a little more sophisticated, if ONLY by dint of a good merlot. Biggest thing in this places favour is the unqiue choice in drinks.
*Again, the smile, and then he looked away and backed off. He could sense the slight change in Daegonna's heartbeat and his nose did more than just break up his face. A slight smirk crept into the smile, but it was gone just as quick, his lips turning red with wine as he sipped his, the colour transfering to the selnder cigarette he applied to the same, before offering the pack to Daegonna*
A terrible habit, but the unliving rarely have to worry about their health.

Tell me about it.
For Red to steal Iden's drink was for his to blatantly rip it from his hand. So Iden did the same. He jacked his drink back, and chugged the last of it.
And piss off, mate. Last I checked, nobody accused me of being gentlemanly. Or gentle, for that matter.
Aint that the truth.

Daegonna's slim shoulders rose in a slight shrug. "It's the price of hanging out at my brother's favourite haunts." She said simply, shooting a teasing smirk to Iden. She actually was rather fond of Iden, in spite of, or perhaps because of his coarse nature. She lifted the glass to her lips, and took a sip, savouring the taste of it. And the sexy b*****d has good taste in wine, to boot. She thought dryly. b*****d is right. Q'uarlynd grumbled in Daegonna's mind. You should know better, Miss DaShae. If you've been forbidden from interaction with Corbin, a Corbin from another dimension is just as off-limits. Q'uarlynd's disapproving interjection somehow made Seraphim even more maddeningly attractive. Funny how that works on a teenage girl. Shut up, you. Daegonna replied merrily. The thought carried with it an order and a ripple of power. Q'uarlynd slunk back into a corner of Daegonna's mind, grumbling all the way. When Seraphim offered her a smoke, she gladly took the pack, and tugged a cigarette from the box with her sharp teeth. The tip sprang to life, glowing first an unearthly violet, and then a more natural cherry red. The girl took a drag, and inclined her horned head. "Thank you." She purred, smoke curling up from between her lips. She glanced at Iden, and smirked. Bella had certainly never complained about him being gentle.

The age of chivalry is truly dead. Even Fangs McGee there cant deny it.
*Red only grinned as Sera's eyes flashed dangerously at him.*
See pops? It aint just you I pick on. Some boys just love biting off more than they can chew.... Just as long as Im doing the biting, I dont care about the rest. And there was em thinking you'd swallow. So uncouth. b***h.
*Sera grinned, nodded apologetically to Deagonna, drained his wine, and stood up*
And it would seem I have also lost my gentlemanly edge. I blame it on the atrocious company. My apologies, prehaps another time.
*The smile turned dark as he put the glass down, spun away from Daegonna, reach around Iden, and grabbed Red by the lobe of his ear*
Ever hear the one about playing with fire? Didnt think it was your element babe... Keep it up, and I'll replace what your currently thinking with with barbed wire and a coat hook... Inventive. But ultimately useless. Not for what I have planned. Lets go, fetish boy. Fetish? Please. I aint an amateur.
*Suprisingly, Red wasnt overly resisting. True, he DID have a gun to Seraphim's abdomen, but anyone with even half a brain cell knew that was hardly a deterant to ANY cainite, let alone Seraphim. It was possibly foreplay, for all Seraphim seemed more interested in killing Red than making love to him. Who knew. On the upside... Seraphim DID drag Red's leering butt out of the bar, the sounds of him making good on his promise sounding down the street outside for a few minutes before silence returned*

Oh for joy. Now we get a show.
As the two were ambling their way out the door, Iden was making a show of being all choked up.
They grow up so fast, them young assholes...
Of course, had Iden been in Red's shoes, there would have been a lot more violence involved, but hey...no kid was perfect.
So he grinned, and leaned back in his seat as he quirked Dae a glance.
If I didn't want to shoot them so badly, I'ld almost love 'em, ya know?

Daegonna watched the exchange with growing amusement, and shook her head, laughing softly. Her laughter added to the cloud of smoke rising above her head She lifted the glass to her lips again, and took another sip. At the apology, she merely grinned. She watched them go, laughing again, then downed the rest of her wine. Iden's commentary made her grin. "Quite the pair." She said dryly. "Red I've crossed paths with before, but Seraphim..." She shook her head. "What'd you mean by 'dimension hopping'?" She asked. "Which one is he from?" The casual tone of her voice when she inquired about which dimension he was from was one of the dead givaways that marked her as a sorceress. She'd been to a few other dimensions, and she'd pulled beings out of other dimensions. However, she'd never crossed paths with someone she knew in her own universe. It was...unsettling.
