Amnity nodded, then considered Mephlius' parents. She turned toward them....At least, tried to in Mephlius' grip. "Is that alright Mrs. and Mr. Falke? We could go to a resteraunt if you want. The Masa in Time Warner Center is pretty good." If you like that top noch, expensive seafood crap... "It's a nice place..." I'd much rather grab a hot dog....

They both shook their heads. "We ate before we came." Free exepensive food... free hotels... AND a vicious killer? I approve! He thought to himself happily. Mephlius finally let go, and lead her over to the nearest concession stand. "I'll just have a large coke." He turned his head to look at Amnity.

Amnity thought for a minute, then spoke. "3 hot dogs and a sprite for me please." The scent of the cooking food in the stand nearly drove her insane. She buried her face in Mephlius' shirt and groaned quietly, but was patient enough to wait until the person was done cooking the food.

Mephlius pulled out his wallet, dropped a $10 bill on the table, and put his wallet back. He took the three hot dogs and held them towards Amnity, not bothering to reach for the drinks yet.

Amnity took them with a gracious smile, but by the time he looks back after getting the drinks she would have already consumed two of the three hot dogs. She saved the last one, in case Mephlius changed his mind. She waited patiently, thinking, then she spoke in a whisper. "....I'm glad I said yes..."

Mephlius grabbed the drinks, and sure enough, she'd already eaten two hot dogs. "Yes to what?" He whispered back. "The hot dogs, or me proposing?"

Wolf noticed Amnity's hunger, and felt a little of his own. He went to the concession stand and said "I'll have two cheeseburgers, please." Wolf waited, then paid for the hamburgers when they came. He sat down near Amnity. "I'll just hang around here for a while." Wolf devoured the first burger, then after a pause of chewing, Wolf devoured the second. He wiped his face with a clean napkin, then sat back contently, watching the subway.

Amnity burped, then covered her mouth and whispered. "You proposing...And now that you mentioned it I'm grateful for the food too." She smiled. "That wasn't as romantic as I intended it to be, but for some reason I'm alright with that." The hunter looked over to Wolf and spoke in a regular volume. "You sure Wolf?"

Wolf laughed a little when Amnity burped, then answered "Yea, I got nowhere else to be. I can't think why not." He shrugged. "I don't think I'm going to get in the way either." Wolf smiled happily.

Mephlius shook his head. "I'm fine. I think people who have been turned into a lycan have more of an appetite than natural-born lycans." He thought about it for a moment. "Then again, you ate almost as much as I did before you were a lycan. So you're not exactly a good measure of that..."

Amnity frowned, and took a bite out of the hot dog. After chewing and swallowing, she spoke. "I can control my lycan side and my temper pretty well, but when it comes to my hunger I go insane..." She trailed off, not wanting to finish. She hadn't killed a human....And she's proud of that. But how long will it last? Despite the morbid topic, she tried to smile. "But lets not talk about that, not now."

Mephlius looked into her eyes. "Yes... there are much happier things to talk about." The topic he was implying seemed obvious as he gazed for a few seconds, before he suddenly turned to look at Wolf. "Topics like Wolf. How are you doing? Anything new since our elegant dinner at Burger King?"

Wolf was listening in, then before he knew it he was the topic. "Um...Yeah. Had a talk with another werewolf, set my thoughts straight, found out a few things about myself..." He paused, then continued "And that's just the briefing of a summary. Ask away!" Wolf smiled, although there was definitly some truth to be shed, some dark truth.
