"Please...you have to save him..."Angel hlaf smirked, half frowned.
"Oh? If she doesn't love me then how come she'd rather be in my arms than yours?"

Nap knew why Rose left in a hurry. She smelled blood, also. She turned to Botan's pale face. Remembering what to do, she gave the liquid to the Grim Reaper, keeping the leaf to herself.
"Botan, this is not your time to die. You can't reap yourself, Botan..."
Napolde stared at the stars. It got dark pretty fast in Demon World.
As soon as she thought that, she heard a branch break. By reflex, she made an ice sphere that surrounded both her and Botan.
A large snap was heard by the barrier. Nap looked up, just to see an army of twenty demonssuurounding her.
"Damn! My spear broke! That's the sharpest thing I have, and there's not a dent in that damn ice!"
"I'll try mine"
The sword the demon used shattered on contact.
"...that's the sharpest thing in this area!"
"Let's melt it!"
"But I'm the only one with fire skills!"
"Then do it, smart stuff!"
The demons, who are natually slow, began to chant as the singled-out demon spit fire out of his palms.The ice wasn't melting, but it was realy getting hot inside the force field.
Napolde couldn't stand the heat anymore. Botan's skin was starting to go red.
Wit the last force she had, she focused her remaining power to her hands, thhrusting them to the earth. The surrounding land froze in an instant. All but the fire-bender had froze, including trees, ferns, and the shattered sword. The shield had disinigrated. helpless, nap looked up at the demon, who was in shock.
"Go ahead , kill me. Just don't kill Botan. That's my only will."
The demon stared at her in disbelief.
"A......Aisu? Aisu...is that really you?"
The voice clicked in her head. She finally made eye-contact with the demon, whom she noticed that he was unlike the other ugly ones.He had a fair complexion, and wore a hood and cape.
"...Raikou?"

Rose took a deep breath and numbly watched Yaru.
'He seems to know what he's doing. But if you die, Kurama, I'll never forgive myself. This is all my fault.'
Angel frowned.
"Her mind is ten times stronger than yours. Your little tricks won't affect you. Besides,"
Angel smirked.
"Her human side is too young for you anyway, grandpa."

Raikou dropped his hood, showing his elven-like ears and his neck tatoos(  ) Napolde immediately hugged the tengu.
"Raikou, I missed you so much!""Aisu, it's been years since I last saw you."Nap knelt down by Botan.
"So that's what my name was. I knew my mother had better naming skills. Why are you here?""Searching for my family..."
Raikou knelt next to Nap, helping her with the makeshift ice pack.
"What's your name today?""Napolde. The kidnappers were foreigners.""That name isn't bad. Do you need help with Botan?""No, she should be fine. How do you know her?""She helped me go to Demon World."

"Alright."
She pursed her lips together as she thought of a way to keep him safe. After thinking for a moment she re-positioned herself so she could be closer to his chest. She listened to his slow heartbeat for a minute.
"I..I have no idea, Yaru. I really don't."
"Sure. I'll even let you make the first move."

Angel tried to dodge but the sole of Inu's shoe ran across his stomach and the boy fall backwards, the wind being knocked out of him.
