After a bit, Amaya headed east, heading for one of Keros' cities to check on her people and make sure the fighting hadn't extended from just the main city. Realieved to see her people bustling about, she turned Crow about and rode North and far out of the way Keros' main city.
The sun was begining to go down, and everyone knew the dangers of riding through the woods of Keros alone at night, but Amaya and Crow pressed on, while many eyes began to watch their every movements.
Kaname bustled about the courtyard cleaning and getting some guards to take care of Lucius' corpse, but not before she said her own choice words to it for hurting Amaya. She had made Amaya's bed hours ago, but now it was getting dark and she and Crow still hadn't returned. She hoped they had made camp somewhere safe, because Keros was the most deadly at night.

Getting Syra into the stables, he watched Xander come up. "Hey, I'm heading inside. Just ask a nurse, or a servant, or even a guard to take you to your room. You'll find clothes, and just about everything else there. Besides that, just get to know the place. If you absolutly need something, just send for me, I'll be happy to help." Leaving his brother there, he walked inside. Going to his room, he layed down on the bed, closing his eyes and began to drift into dreamland. On the way there, his thoughts trailed to what Amaya might be doing at that moment. He was mad at himself for snapping at her, but was also angry with her for the fact that she was making it seem like her kingdom, her own life, and his life were all worthless. It hurt him deeply.

Saber hobbled into Roran's room with some help from Dagger, who had arrived a few hours earlier and the wolves walked over, resting their heads on his stomach as they whined lightly.

Waking up as the two canines' heads touched him, he smiled. "Hey guys, what's up?" he whispered to the two obediant wolves.

They prodded his stomach lightly with their muzzles, whining a little, wondering why he was sad and where their master was.
Amaya had written a letter before she left, and a servant knocked on Roran's door, handing him the letter before bowing out of the room. The letter said,
Dear Roran,
I apoligize for my behavior earlier. I realize that I was being completely self-centered and it sounded like I appreciate your help or you even being there, and for that I am truely sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, though I know saying sorry isn't enough. I really do appreciate you and I'm really glad I'm with you. I don't know what was up with me, but I think I'm just a little stressed. I love you, and I hope you will forgive my behavior.

Smiling as he read the letter, he gently stroked both dog's heads. Now he really felt like an a**. "Amaya is fine, you two. When I see her again, I need to apologize. You two will remind me, right?" Grinning again, he layed there, looking up at the ceiling. I am such an a**.

Erika was in her room the whole time. She hadn`t forgotten that Jack and herself had to meet, but the princess grew tired. She took a long nap, and when she finally woke up, it was too late.
The princess quickly headed for the stable, to get on Snowball and to look for Jack. She couldn`t find him. . . unfortunatley.
Erika went back to the castle, wondering what happened.

She went back to her room, the next day. She looked out the window quietly, worried about Xander.

They nodded their heads and then licked his hands. They were happy as long as their master was alright.

As they licked his hands, it tickled. Chuckling as he pulled away, he slowly lowered them back down so he could pet the wolves again. Sighing, he couldn't believe he had snapped at her. He never thought he'd do that, ever. Especially with their wedding just a week away. I can't believe myself. God...

Saber nudged his head into Roran's knee, knowing how he was feeling as Dagger just sat there and licked his hand to attempt to make him feel better.

Chuckling again, he shuffled around. "Hey hey hey!" He laughed. "I'm fine, really. Just worried about Amaya, that's all. I yelled at her the last time I saw her, and I don't feel so good about it."

Their ears went down and they just looked at him with sad eyes. They liked Roran, but it pained them to hear that Roran had been mean to Amaya.
Amaya stumbled through the woods panting as she struggled to keep her pace. She had sent Crow back to Keros about an hour ago, and hoped that the horse had made it. The growls got louder and closer as Amaya ran. Her eyes showed the terror that she felt, yet no one was around to see her eyes except the moon that rose lazily over head. All of the strikers were exhausted from the battle, each one was asleep, and not one could hear Amaya's frantic calls for help.
A set of jaws latched down on Amaya's left leg and she cried in pain as she fell to the ground. She turned to see an angry lizard like creature, that began to drag her away to its den. She hacked at it until it let go, and then she ran again, looking for any place that she would be safe from the enraged creature.

Wondering aimelesly through the castle, he still had some thing to proces in his mind. After a walking for hours, he had asked direction to his room. The guard first placed this as a bad joke, but seeing how the Prince didn't laugh and was waiting for an answer, the guard answered. He was quite surprissed with this question.
Xander had made it to his room, after getting lost a few times. The castle was large and he was on the other side. No wonder he had to ask direction more then a few times, making him wonder how he'd ever get used to this place.
Upon entering his room, he looked around carefully. He wasn't sure if this was his room. Seeing a long sword placed against a table, he wondered if it was his. But first, he decided to have a bath and put on some new clothes.
The servants and guards were starting strange rumors, as Prince Xander had asked them all these questions.
