Ryou had tried to block it out. He was overcome with such a strong mix of emotions that it left him blank. Anger towards Bakura, such a burning anger, sorrow and pain from watching what his yami did to Kira. Sick, from watching one human being do that to another, and too many others to name. So now after everything calmed down, he was left empty. Then he found himself suddenly in control of the body. His hands were still bloody, and the awful taste of blood was in his mouth.
But he was holding her head. Tears freely flowed down his face, but that couldn't make up for what he was feeling. "Oh, god, Kira... I-I'm so sorry. I couldn't d-do anything." He was amazed that he was able to even speak that in English. He wouldn't be surprised if Kira couldn't make out what he said. "I-I-I-I..." He couldn't finish his thought. "I love you so much..." This part came out the most clearly.

"I love you ryou..I love you.." she said.You could see her fighting to keep her eyes open.The sick thing was you could her lungs lungs slowly going up and down and her heart slowly beating.

Ryou didn't know what to do. The cursed Millennium Ring around his neck was still glowing faintly, which let him know that Bakura was still blocking everybody out. "I'll kill him for you, Kira, I swear..." He whispered, but knew in the back of his mind that it wasn't true. Bakura was a spirit... how could you kill something immortal?

"No..." Ryou breathed, trembling. "Don't leave me, please... I can't do anything without you..." The Millennium Ring's glow faded after a moment, and Ryou felt Bakura relax in the back if his mind. Too overcome with grief, however, Ryou barely felt the roaring anger towards his yami. He shakily hugged Kira's body to his chest, despite her only having one arm and being covered in blood. His sobs were muffled as he bowed his head into the still-warm neck, paying no attention to anything else at the moment.

Kira dident anser him.It was too late.The eye seemed to glow faintly before she died.Her eyes had a filmy glase over them and was starting blanking at nothing her eyesonly open half way.Blood was still coming out of her mouth and all her wounds soaking everything.

Khalid, who had been pacing the hall outside of Kira's door, was growing more and more worried. He couldn't enter-- no matter how many times he attacked the barrier with his Millennium Items and otherwise, Bakura's ancient magic was too strong. Ishizu and Leila were standing off to the side, both looking worried, and Khalid just wasn't sure what to do. Suddenly there was a release in the barrier, and Khalid barged into the room, almost expecting to see Bakura still.
But all that there was was Ryou. And the tattered body of Kira. He heard a gasp come from behind him, but he wasn't sure if it was Leila or Ishizu. Khalid's face softened immensly when he saw the look on Ryou's face. Or, to be correct, the look he didn't have. Ryou had slipped into a dazed state, tears falling from his eyes, but didn't seem to be seeing anything. He was clutching Kira like some gory teddy bear, looking up with the most helpless stance.
'This was what it was like to have a yami. Covered in your love's blood, and knowing that you had been unable to stop this from happening...' Khalid thought sadly, moving over to Ryou. He closed Kira's eye silently, bowing his head in respect. Ryou didn't let go, or really notice that others had come into the room.
Ishizu couldn't help but gasp when she came into the room. She stumbled backwards, grabbing at the wall for support. No... this couldn't be... Why Kira? What had the girl ever done to end up like this?! Her mental screams never made their way out of her mouth, but even that wouldn't be enough to show how she felt at the sight. She murmured "Oh god..." over and over, not even knowing what she was doing.

Sudenly ryou's soul seemed to be riped from the body going into the shadow relm.Before him,curled up into a trembling ball was kira.It seemed the eye had riped her soul into the shadow relm before she died.

Ryou seemed unable to actually speak, and had made his thoughts heard instead. Still overcome by grief and shock, he could barely believe this. He had been there... he held her when she... Ryou didn't know that his thoughts were still heard.
Bakura, at the sudden lack of a soul controling the body, assumed control quickly. A smirk came onto his face as he looked up at Khalid.
Khalid reacted immediatly when he felt the presence before him change. In one smooth, strong movement, he punched Bakura in the stomach with all of his physical strength. His Millennium Items were already charged from his attempts to open the door, and he quickly set upon attacking the yami mentally as well as he lunged forward for another strike on Bakura.

Kira dident answer him.Her soul was in shock from going threw such a painful death and the shadows just kept replaying it over and over in her head.She let out a pain cry and grasped her head 'Make it stop....Make it all stop..' she thought going into a mental breakdown.

Ryou couldn't decide what to do. If this was a trick by Bakura, than he'd be playing right into his yami's hands. But then again, this could be the last time he could see Kira, even if he knew she was already dead.
Rushing over to her side, Ryou put his arms on Kira's shoulders. "I-it's going to be okay, Kira, please just calm down..." Ryou said in a pathetic attempt to calm her. But it wasn't working very well.
Ishizu finally had the sense to rush forward and grab Khalid's arm. "Stop it! Khalid, I know how you feel, but think! Bakura can't be killed, and all you're doing is harming Ryou's body." She said, trying to keep herself calm.
Leila, forgotten in a corner, was slumped to the floor. She barely knew any of these people, besides Khalid, of course, and she still felt bad. She had been the last one in here, before Bakura could've done this. If she had stayed and waited for Khalid to return, maybe she could've done something.
Bakura, feeling confident as Khalid hesitated, lunged. What Ishizu said was true, of course. So it didn't really matter to Bakura at the moment what happened, as long as he found another host. Bakura tackled Khalid to the ground, where he pinned him there, eyes narrowed. He ignored the new pains Khalid had just added to his body, but it was impossible to stop his body's reactions to them. Blood from his mouth dripped down onto Khalid's face, the yami's face turned into a smirk as he wrapped his hands around Khalid's throat and squeezed with all of his strength, digging his nails deep into the skin.

Kira was still shaking like crazy.His atempts to calm her dident work as she curled up tighter.What happen kept running threw her head and she felt every little bit of pain that had happened to her over and over agian.

Ryou thought, deciding that if it was Bakura's trick, he'd go ahead and fall for it now. He managed to lift Kira's head slightly, then leaned forward and kissed her, all the while thinking that this could be the last time he would be able to. Tears fell down his cheeks again, and he wondered how many more he would shed.
"Get off of him!" Leila ran into Bakura, before Ishizu could really react. Her eyes were burning with anger. How dare this tomb theif try to harm Khalid?! Her hands dove straight for Bakura's face, to get back at him.
"No!" Ishizu lept for Bakura and Khalid's little whore (what Ishizu referred to Leila in her mind) and tugged the woman off of Bakura. "Don't you have ears? Hurt Bakura and you hurt Ryou's body, you fool!" She felt like striking the woman, but first had to see to Khalid and check if he was hurt or not.
Ishizu had pulled Leila off of Bakura a moment too late. The woman had skillfully gone straight for where it would hurt the most; the eyes. Her fingers had dug into them just as sharply as Bakura had been clawing at Khalid's throat a moment ago. Blood poured from his eyes, and Bakura knew that this was enough. Too much blood loss for now, too much pain. He searched his mind for Ryou, but found out that his hikari wasn't there. He found the mind link, but the other end was hidden in shadows. How had Ryou gotten there?

kira seemed to lossen of her ball and gently kissed back.Pain still ran threw her but the events nolonger replayed threw her head.Her trembling hands gently pulled him close her her,her hands tightly grasping his shirt.
