I do not think you will, as you said you are a renegade consorting with Je'daii, not to mention a known pirate."He saw the jettisoned escpae pod and a figure had emerged, his eyes narrowed it was far to small to be Kixc but he slowed the ship none the less. Just a moment ago I heard you making some great claims, implying that you could take me on in battle. I do hope you weren't just bluffing..."Oh worry not my dear, I will ravish ah ravage you still. All you simply need to do it ask."Something was happening down at the escape pod, with a swift flip of a switch he turned on the audio receivers "Not long I be down, you come scavenge? I first mate of crew! I defend!" "First mate..... Now that is interesting." he mumbled more than anything before turning on the exterior speakers "Your captain, the Mandalorian Samohet Kixc, was one of my lieutenants. What has happened to him?"

No one said that the two had to be mutually exclusive... she mused. But she had no time to think about it when she heard the voice through the speakers, the slight distortion indicating that a translator was being used. Not a very good one either, apparently... Upon closer inspection of the visual feed Zara resisted the urge to laugh at the sight of the small cloaked figure ready to defend the unsalvageable wreck of the ship, if it could even be called that anymore. It appeared that this creature was the only survivor, as there was no sign of anyone else having been in the escape pod. She cast a sideways glance at Dawson, wondering if they were going to bother wasting any more time here when it was apparent that his friend wasn't anywhere to be found.

Nal Hutta"What the hell do you think you're doing!""Get on!!!"Things had gone from bad to worse in only a matter of moments, but it looked like Corvin might soon get his wish and finally get off this rock. If he could make sure Elyria left with him, this wouldn't be a total loss... he grabbed her wrist, looked up at the ship, and said "Works for me!" before running toward the ramp. "Dammit! This girl was trouble - another overt act - discretion was a virtue she did not have" Elyria looked up at Corvin, then down at the comm...still no answer, she stuffed it into her pocket and let Corvin lead her up the ramp "De'avril, what's your status?" he shouted into his com over the sounds of engine noise and panic. "Endar woke up, spy panicked, lit a flash bomb, and jumped ship!""Fine! Didn't want him around anyway, and he couldn't have heard anything... we're about to get airborne, so I suggest you do the same!" Corvin..are you sure about this? we know nothing of this woman except that where she goes trouble follows...Zara has escaped...who knows what is happening on the Wren..and...and we have no idea where we are going? She gave him a puzzled look hoping for some explanation of his reasoning, but the engines were fired and the ship was lifting. Leaning her back against the ship's wall she closed her eyes sighing... what next...

Nal Hutta Corvin..are you sure about this? we know nothing of this woman except that where she goes trouble follows...Zara has escaped...who knows what is happening on the Wren..and...and we have no idea where we are going? She gave him a puzzled look hoping for some explanation of his reasoning, but the engines were fired and the ship was lifting. Leaning her back against the ship's wall she closed her eyes sighing... what next..."Escaped? She was never a prisoner...was she?" Corvin said with a grin. He was still not much of a telepath, but he kept his voice down. Now that they were safely aboard, and still alone, this may be their only chance to catch their breath, or to talk. "The Wren is following us. Endar's aboard, and maybe he'll finally give us some answers whenever we get wherever it is we're going." "Am I sure about this?" He turned toward her, took a deep breath, and put a hand on either of her shoulders. He looked into her eyes then, and said pointedly "Since we met, I've only been sure about one thing. The rest has been an adventure... why should this be any different?"He held her gaze a moment longer before adopting his casual scoundrel manner again, clapping her on the shoulder, and saying more loudly "Now let's find out where we're going, shall we?" This was far from Corvin's first time on a pirate vessel, and he had a pretty good idea what the layout would be like. He turned on his heel and strode confidently toward the cockpit.

He looked into her eyes then, and said pointedly "Since we met, I've only been sure about one thing. The rest has been an adventure... why should this be any different?"she felt the heat rising to her cheeks as her eyes met his, his words....she smiled..then laughed softly well, then....adventure it is!He held her gaze a moment longer before adopting his casual scoundrel manner again, clapping her on the shoulder, and saying more loudly "Now let's find out where we're going, shall we?" This was far from Corvin's first time on a pirate vessel, and he had a pretty good idea what the layout would be like. He turned on his heel and strode confidently toward the cockpit. watching him turn and walk away, she slumped against the wall again 'that man...is the most confusing... sighing, she straightened and followed him....

Blizz lowered his arm and the tech deactivated. The Jawa sighed and stood in contemplation, Samohet did report to someone but he was so secretive. How could Blizz be so sure this man was his superior? Again Blizz eyed the symbol on the ship, it made sense that his ship and this one were apart of the same fleet...the special marking on this one could indicate the flag ship. It was a big hunch but Kixc taught him to go with his gut. Besides he needed ammo,food and a place to go to sleep of his own choosing, not of something rendering him unconscious. Worst case scenario is the poor little Jawa got blasted upon entry. Turning off his armaments he bent down and picked up his mini deflector shield and cut the power from it. Hopefully they'll take him in and they can find Bossman. Blizz again was saddened by the thought of not knowing where Samohet was. He raised his hand to his mask to speak once more.
I dunno. We got split, he do own thing. Left Blizz in charge...Keldabe go boom!, bounty hunters...been rough year. Lost contact..."

Nal Hutta. "Mistress the je'daii are aboard."Mizu swung around in the cockpit, flicking switches and pulling up the flight stick. "About time too. Get us starside Bleeper!"The ships primary engines flared into life and pushed the ship skyward. "Hey dreamer you might wanna buckle up."Reaching down to her right she flipped a red switch and was instantly flung back in her seat as the ship rocketed forward into atmo. Suddenly the Dawn was rocked by explosions. "Bleeper! Report. Now!" "Multiple ships mistress. Looks like they figured out who attacked the warehouse.""Tch!."Pulling up the intercom she flipped it live and waited for Bleeper to patch her through. "Oioi Je'daii listen up. Look like we have a little unwanted attention. If you guys wanna get out of here in one piece I suggest you find something to hold onto. This is gonna be a bumpy ride."Mizu's hands became a blur as she flipped switches, pulled levers and turned dials. "Auto-turret defences online mistress. Firing back at our attackers now."As the ship was pelted by more laser fire she turned to Logan and pointed out a console to his left. "Get on that and help shoot them down. The auto-turrets won't be able to handle those all alone."

"Sithspit - I knew this was a mistake...we don't even know who is attacking...have we been given away to the Sith? or is it the Hutts? We'd better get up front and see what we can do to help...

We don't even know who's attacking us!! And besides it's YOUR fault for blowing a hole in that warehouse!!"Another blast rocked the ship and Bleeper re-appeared on screen. "Shields are down to 50% mistress. We won't be able to take many more like that."Feeling the heat of her eyes glaring at him Ryo quickly turned to the console. "Fine!"Flipping the lid on the fire switch he engaged the enemy fighters.

Deep space- astral phantom
Wilca nealed behind the pilots seat in deep meditation the astro droid an R8 that he had started to call Javic was piloting the ship from an access terminal, Wilca was surprised at how easy he found leaving everything he ever knew behind, and stealing a ship, but he felt a hand of the force guiding him. In a flash Wilca had a vision he saw harsh winds, ice, snow. His eyes snapped open but he didnt move an inch, he knew what the vision meant, and in a calm cool voice he spoke "Javic plot a course to Hoth alert me upon arrival" The droid clicked and beeped in response and Wilca slowly closed his eyes sinking back into the depths of his mind.

The pirate had a coy smile painted on his face, the woman was likely just the sort of trouble he had been missing "As I said all you have to do is simply ask, and you will most certainly recieve." he shifted his attention back to the viewscreen and the jawa "I dunno. We got split, he do own thing. Left Blizz in charge...Keldabe go boom!, bounty hunters...been rough year. Lost contact..."
The smile shifted down into a scowl at the news "Kixc would not have been silent this long unless he was dead. I wonder what finally got the old b*****d....." he shook his head realizing he was about to reminisce about old times "It is unfortunate but I find my self in need of some new help. If Samohet thought you worthy, I will trust his judgement." He flipped on the tractor beam and pointed it towards the jawa "If you accept my offer to join my crew, I will bring you aboard and promise you more credits and adventure than you will know what to do with." He turned looking over his shoulder back at the sith woman "If he comes aboard, we watch him. Kixc was one hell of a fighter, even had a few je'daii under his belt. Ah well he would demand more of a cut and more of the action."

Nal Hutta - Delirium of DreamsZara was less than enthusiastic about letting a complete stranger on board just because Dawson knew their captain, but there wasn't much that could be done about that. He didn't even need to tell her to keep an eye on the Jawa; she was already planning on doing just that. This Kixc... was he someone that you could have bested in combat?She hoped that he would pick up on what she was implying. The Jawa claimed that he didn't know where the captain was, and the entire situation seemed rather fishy especially considering that he would show up on Nal Hutta of all places at this particular spaceport. Zara suspected there had been a mutiny, and now the Jawa was trying to climb up the ranks after taking out his captain and then play the fool to get closer to Dawson before trying to take him out as well, but then again she always seemed to assume the worst in people. She couldn't get a good enough read on him, not when he wasn't physically on board the ship yet. Zara looked back at the scanner array and noticed something a bit odd... The ship that she had caught a glimpse of right before their speedy departure on the swoop bike was being fired upon and losing shield integrity fast, and following close behind was none other than the Je'daii ship. Wordlessly, she pointed it out to Dawson, mostly indifferent about the safety of the Je'daii but realizing that it may be wise to help them out. It would at least help Zara maintain her cover, but that wasn't exactly something she could tell him.

Corvin would be damned if he was going back down there any time soon, and a look of determination fixed his features instantly. "Okay, Dea... looks like we've got work to do. Get out of here - we'll rendezvous at Voss!""Try not to take too long!" she said, which Corvin had learned was almost affectionate, coming from her. He jammed the comm unit back into his coat. "Come on!" he said to Elyria, then resumed his path to the cockpit, now taking long, purposeful, and above all, fast strides. He assessed the combat outside the cockpit, the class of fighters they were up against, and the state of the ship in moments, and his mind was made up. "One side, Hot Stuff!" he said, leaning over the pyrokinetic in the main cockpit in such a way that she could scarcely stay in her seat. He was counting on her not wanting to ignite the console at this critical juncture, and was quite certain he was the better pilot. After all, they were getting hit. He grabbed at the controls, and began deftly maneuvering the craft through the enemy fire... it was fast, and it was rough, too rough for the autocannons to offer much more than a distraction in response, but they were no longer getting hit either. "Alllllmost...." Corvin said, doing his best to get clear of the fray before announcing "Now!" and punching the hyperdrive. It was a short jump - he didn't want to risk colliding with anything, and hadn't had enough time to make any major calculations, but they were clear of the combat, drifting in wide open space without an asteroid to mar the view. Now he stood up from the console, motioning genially to return it to the ships captain as he said "Well, that was exciting!" he exclaimed, pleased with a job well done, and turning to check on Elyria.

Get out of here - we'll rendezvous at Voss!""Try not to take too long!" she said, which was her way of telling that stubborn a** not to get himself killed. Or to leave them waiting, when there were almost certainly pissed off Sith waiting in the wreckage of the battle. "Endar!" she shouted into the ship's intercom. "You still here? We're about to jump to light speed... better come up to the bow and strap in!"The calculations for the jump would take time, but the aggressors clearly weren't paying any attention to the Wren. Dea'Avril had plenty of time to observe the other ship as it's flight pattern changed suddenly and it's turrets swiveled uselessly while she waited for her ships computer to catch up with the coordinates she input for Voss. Then the other craft jumped into hyperspace, the light bending around it for just a short moment while the other craft tried to come to terms with this sudden change of events. Some of them jumped after it, though they would almost certainly be lost without knowing their quarry's destination... others began looking for a new target. "FUBAR!" she shouted to the astromech droid, "A little help with these calculations!"The droid beeped and whirred violently in response, clearly agitated at being ordered to do what it was already doing. Did she think he was built yesterday?

Elyria followed closely behind having a little trouble matching her shorter steps to his larger stride...she saw what he was up to and slid into an empty seat and strapped in just in the nick of time.... He grabbed at the controls, and began deftly maneuvering the craft through the enemy fire... it was fast, and it was rough, too rough for the autocannons to offer much more than a distraction in response, but they were no longer getting hit either. Her body was thrown from side to side with the maneuvers..all the while her imagination running wild as to the repercussions from the girl over his taking command of her ship.... Now he stood up from the console, motioning genially to return it to the ships captain as he said "Well, that was exciting!" he exclaimed, pleased with a job well done, and turning to check on Elyria. she smiled at him...a bit weakly as she waited for her stomach to settle. When she felt able, she unhooked her belt and got up from her seat, steadying herself with the back as she watched the streaks of stars around them That was great piloting..but... looking over at Logan and I know we need to get Logan home...but do you think Voss is the best choice right now? I'm sure the Sith are taking inventory of the planet and are swarming like Killiks..I don't think it's safe....wouldn't we be better off heading for home...regrouping...rebuilding...formulating a plan to recoup our losses?
