You didn't. Colm just seems to make a study of being blunt and outspoken about things that irritate him.

Yup. No worries, just shrug it off. I felt the same way as you when I joined, since captains are supposed to take care of shikai training and you often need their blessing to go and train in other squads. Having no captain can make it tough to develop your character's powers the way you want to.

I'm not a profile mod or even crew, but a lot of people are bringing back old characters, like Nagi and Acapello, so why shouldn't you be able to bring back yours? That's just kinda what I think, but I guess you should get a mod's blessing.

Well I will leave the final verdict to Kyros, however you will need to resubmit the profile for approval. especially considering the age of said character

Strafe Prower Ok....I was just stunned at the response lol. Don't worry about it too much. But I can't count how many times people say that after coming back from being gone or inactive when really there are things you can still do, you don't really need your Captain for anything unless it's regarding your profile, squad related business or plot events.

Well, all right, but that's not really the point. Colm's just the way he is, and Strafe shouldn't let Colm's behavior bother him overly much. You certainly don't seem to.
