Mana sighed not even sure what to do. "I wasnt even in your head. Im an emotional vampire" He turned to face Lydia again.

(In that case what Mana picked up was that Nikoli feels empty, and somewhat lonely.)

When Nikoli started getting defensive, Lydia watched him quietly. She already barely trusted any from this group and it wouldn't take very much to set her off. For now though, she didn't do anything.

(I don't know anymore. Nikoli is supposed to be outside heading to the edge of town. Actually he should be in the Academy with Aislin right now. Kir and co. are supposed to be inside Barick's house so I really don't know how a conversation between the two is possible ^_^; Unless they are transmitting thoughts, in which case they should make it known)
Core looked over to Kir, who was having doubts it seemed.
"..." Kir knew where they would be going. It was a place where that man...that man could easily get him. Kir was sure he didn't want to be tainted with evil again. He had no guarantees that Jilin wouldn't be there too. And if he's not there, that he wouldn't return while Kir and his friends are there. He didn't want to get involved with Jilin at all. And Lydia...Kir didn't want Lydia to even know who that man is. If Kir went, Lydia would go too, and so would Mana. Who would be left here? Barick and three strangers? No, Pre is here too now.
He wanted to make sure Synthic was safe, and Mat as well. He looked up at Lily and moved away from them, towards where Lydia and Mana were. He had to ask them something.

The Three Men that had entered the house, spread out and for the most part, with the exception of Ronin, who had walked over to Lily and began to ask for directions to the Crystallis Research Academy. He wasn't quite sure how to get there, but he wanted to scope it out.

Lily looked to Kir. "Go do what you need to," she told him. Then looked to Ronin. "I don't know, head east I think," she replied. They had never answered if they were really on their side.
Chiasa nodded to Barick with a small smile. At least they weren't splitting up from everyone.

Mana looked at Kir. He knew there was something Kir was focused on and wondered what it would be. He silently hoped that Nikoli wouldnt set Lydia off and make her too nervous.

Kir went to Lydia and knelt down before her, taking out his notebook, "Lydia, I need to go and see someone who used to work for the Academy. She's with a dangerous man, so I don't want to get you hurt. So if I left, would you stay here? Ask Mana if he would stay with you," Kir wrote and gave the book to Lydia.

Lydia read the note and her expression fell. Without a word, she handed the notebook to Mana and looked down at her feet. First Neal wouldn't talk to her, and now Kir was leaving.

Mana read the note and patted Lydia's arm trying to comfort her. "Kir is just doing what any father would. He doesnt want you to be hurt, and if you want I would be happy to stay with you." He hoped she would understand. "I doubt Kir would leave you here if he had another choice. Isnt that right Kir?"
