Smiling lightly she fell in step just beside him. I would prefer to get out as soon as possible. I feel a little clausterphobic down here. To see the sky again would almost be a dream. Every few steps she looked to her feet to make sure she wasn't going to trip. Zahar stuck close to him worried about not only loosing him and never getting out, but tripping on loose debris. She still wasn't quite 100% woth her balance yet.

he smiled and continued to walk. they walked for some tim in silence the corridor was winding one way and then the other and thoughmost anyone wouldnt notice they were on a down ward slant. he noted this as they walked and wondered if they had stumbled into drow or dwarf tunnles. finallyafter about 40 minutes of walking after his rodent companion. it stopped infront of an archway that appeared to lead into some HUGE room and mavrick didnt really seem to want to go into the room. there was a beautifully carved archyway around the door and he glanced at zahar with a smile, "looks like fun to me, what do you think?"

Zahar stopped a couple steps away from the ROUS. You said that it sensed things. The rodent obviously does not want to go in... do you think it wise that we procede? Hands grasping at her dress she dimmed her light slightly if there was something out there she din't want to give them away too much.

he laughed, "id doesnt take the rodent to sense theres sometihng in there babe," he smiled, "but like i said, looks like fun to me, id you want i can check it out see what the situation is. i mean, rushing headlong in there sword drawn may not be wise, and we do ahve other choices and all, like goin back to i can go take a gander at what my palli mavrick doesn't seem to like in ther. im sure there is worse things underground then the ROUS and im sure he knows it as well as i do. and i know it well. i mean i did live with the drow. hell they rode around on spiders larger then horses. so im doubting theres much in there to actually scare me. harming me is another story, but i think i shall be ok. still i ask for you desire, i have no quams heading the other way again."

I am unsure as to how to proceed. What do you think is the best option? Her light dimmed further. She may not have sensed anything but she trusted SK. I would not be good if it came to fighting at the moment. Zahar patted her leg. That and I am frightened... I... I do not wish to leave yourside but I would hinder more then help.

Zahar looked back into the darkness behind them. It was a deadend, she was almost certain. We will go straight on then. Should I follow you in or you go first or possibly wait here? I am not good with stratagy. Her eyes looked a bit uneasy as she peered out past SK into the darkness ahead. Could I almost have my dagger back. I believe you took them all when I was unconcious. I may not be able to fight well, I could always try and defend myself long enough for you to help though. Shivering at the thought of what a fight would be like against her she pushed the thought away.

he pulled her dagger out and handed it to her and then handed her one of his katar's as well, "you may need more then that little thing if theres something in there," he paused and sinffed the air, "things hat live under ground are often more troublesome then those that walk in the light."

She held the katar in her right hand. I do not know how to use such a blade. Will it not hinder more then help in such a case? Would it not better server you if the creature inside proves to be stronger? Zahar was worried now, not only for herself but SK. She didn't like the thought of loosing him in any sense.

"it is enchanted to hit what you are fightling a lot easier kinda of acts as a guide for you. it wont be as easy for you as the dagger but it will harm anything you hit with it, jsut dont hit yourself, it could remove your arm extremely easily as it is onlyy blound to me," he smiled, "with any luck it wont come to that, though a lil battle would be good for ya me thinks, " he drew his katan and unhindered himself of all thier gear so he stood with his katar in his left hand ant katana in his right, if youd like you can wait here or we can go in together, if you arent comfortable right here by yourself."

She dimmed her light near to nothing so the drain felt like naught but a slow drip. Zahar could see enough if anyone got close to her, butsk should be able to use his other sight. Will my light hinder you? If it will I shall stay if it will not then I will go with you. For to be honest I would not like to stay here alone. What ever it is that you decide we must act soon. I havea suspicious feeling that we are going to be found out if we stand talking like school girls for much longer. Stretching her legs and then her arms she watched him the best she could. Zahar winced slightly when she stretched her right leg but kept with her motions. Her thumb ran across the black hilt of her dagger as she tested the weight and balance of the katar in her hand.

he chuckled again, this one slightly strained, "they knew we were comming a long time ago. if theres anything in there that is. i mean it may just be heavily trapped or something you know?" he jestured at the door way, "eitherway im gonna go in. fallow at about 15 paces," he paused and looked to the archway again and walked catiously over to it and peered in as far as zahars light would allow, "how bright can you make that light of yours?"

I can make it quite bright but it seems to slowly disperse after 3 feet. It may harm your eyes if I turn it all the way up. She blushed slightly thinking about wanting to do anything but hurt him. Her eyes looked around the small entrance. Shall I do It now?

Zahar nodded and closed her eyes. This will be bright. Taking a deep breath in, then one out. Counting down with her fingers. Focusing her energy she brought it up to the brightest and the furthest that she could make it as quickly as she could. Unconciously she used SK's katar as a cane to help support herself. She reeled and then regained her balance. Opening her eyes Zahar looked to SK nodding once. Pleased with herself as to how well she did she watched her energy levels subconciously as she watched SK trying to figure out what he is planing.
