"Hikaru works because she lives alone," the girl replied with a smile. But it seemed to concern Edward that she was working rather than enjoying life, as he explained. "I do make friends, though not many stays here in Midgar." Hikaru fell in step with the prince as they were on their way to the mansion. It seemed to surprise her that he knew a lot about the mansion without being there. Maybe he had friends there? From the sounds of it, he does. She smiled. "I do enjoy life! Hikaru may have to work because she has no parents, but she loves being with people. Hikaru also aims to be helpful, because everyone is able to fight. She can only shield and cure with her materias she got from momma. They're in my staff." Tapping the Halo Bringer staff on her back, she smiled more.
She too looked over at another gray-haired child, whom was carrying around a weapon of his own but much more lethal than her staff. Though her ears weren't any better than any other average person, she caught him wondering what Mako would be. "Brought into troubles?" she said as she looked to Edward, blinking in confusion. Sure, there's monsters and a lot of kids have been seen around on the streets, but even in peaceful times it still happens when natural diseasters happen. Though perhaps mako monsters aren't really natural. She knew that much at least. "Hikaru doesn't think he is from this world, actually. He doesn't know what Mako is!" It seemed that she wasn't oblivious about other worlds as most people were.Hikaru's Theme Song

Dont get me wrong.... ....I still dont fight against anyone i cant beat..... luneth barley noticed the man as he was stuck on a train of thought, but when he did notice him he looked up to him and would say "don't judge me by my age and appearence sir, I am a skilled knight and talented in many other warrior classes, you look to frail to be warrior yourself"....But I decided in my heart to fight

When the boy seemed to notice Edward, he seemed to have read the man's mind about the comment he had made. Hikaru tilted her head to one side as the boy said that not to be fooled by his age and appearance. She certainly wasn't one to judge. "A knight?" the girl said to herself, but then the boy made a remark about Edward looking too frail to be a warrior himself. "That's not nice, Edward wasn't even judging you!" But it wasn't said reproachfully, she only smiled.Hikaru's Theme Song

Edward glanced down at the young teen as they walked, a frown crossing his features. She lived alone too?! That was just horrible. "I'm...very sorry. I mean not to pry. " She seemed so innocent, and yet she was living on her own, and working as though she was an adult. This wasn't the life she should have. " When we get to this mansion, Would you want to stay if they offered it? It seems they may be willing to let you. From what I heard of my two friends, they allowed him and his wife there. You could...start living without worrying about a job, possibly make more friends?" He smiled faintly, listening to her words about her shield materia and cure. He didn't have a clue as to what that was,though. But he could relate to some of what she said. "I am not what you would call the best fighter, though..If I have to..My harp here, Is actually a sort of weapon. It can do a few things that can even harm an attacker, or put them to sleep. "
Then, as he again looked to the boy as he spoke to him, Edward blinked in surprise. "I apologize. I meant no disrespect to you. I'm not quite used to seeing such thing's..I myself am not from this world, young people don't often carry swords like that.We do train, but not to that extent. "

It seemed to have surprised the man that she was living on her own and working to support herself. When he apologized for prying, she tilted her head to one side in confusion. "Don't apologize, it never hurts to ask," she said as she smiled and patted his arm. But when he asked if she would live in the mansion if it was offered, she blinked. Why would they invite her to live there? Were they like a sort of foster home too? No, it wouldn't be if many adults live there and so few kids... then maybe they invite people to live in the building because they're nice. "Well, if they ask, then Hikaru might stay. It is lonely being on her own," she said brightly, though it was true all the same.
Edward admitted that he too wasn't a fighter, and explained that if he had to fight, his harp was his weapon. Hikaru was fascinated by the idea of music being used in such a way, but she preferred to have her staff because of the materia that were in it. They were odd materia but they suited her perfectly in her opinion. "Hikaru thinks that it's very useful in battle your way."
She looked to the boy again, seeing if he would answer to what Edward said to him. So both of them weren't from this world?Hikaru's Theme Song

Luneth sighed as he stood up and looked to the two "my apologize, it's just hard being my age here, I'm seen only as a child, not the warrior I am, even some of my friends from the other worlds think of me as nothing more then a child, but in truth I am a chosen warrior of the wind crystal of my world, and savior of the balance of light and darkness" he then looked toward the mansion then back to them them "if I heard correctly you are going to the avalanche mansion, I live there so I'll take you there, besides I need to ask a friend from this world a question"....But I decided in my heart to fight

"Ah ha, Hikaru gets the same problem, even though she had been in this city since she was eight." At least the boy was more friendly now. Hikaru gazed in the direction of the mansion and wondered yet again where some of her friends were at. When the boy stated that he heard them talking about going to the mansion and said he could take them there, she smiled and nodded. Edward knew the way, but either way, they were all heading in that direction. "What is it you're wanting to ask your friend? Edward nodded to Luneth, perhaps he was being to worried, his own kindness always seemed to get the best of him sometimes, even with situations like this. He didn't mean to really look down on the boy at all. "I'm sorry. If you say you are a warrior, then I have no reason to believe you are not. To even carry such a weapon shows you must have the skill. " He said, trying to be assuring now. Then, as he mentioned the mansion and that he had lived there, The young Prince nodded again. "Thank you very much.." He paused, realizing he didn't tell him his name yet.It was only the proper thing to do! "I'm Edward Chris von Muir. "

Jake sat in the outside seat of a coffee shop, having drank some himself, but he didn't feel affects like Zane or Zack did! Poor Zane shouldn't even drink coffee! He just sat there with his feet propped up on the table, his right arm hidden under his coat sleeve which he had pulled up to hide the arm from view, secretly from Unisha he still thought he was a monster really, maybe not a monster, just... A demon, something to that affect... He sighed a bit, thinking about a while back, before he went with Jenova, after leaving the ShinRa Building... He still remembered... Katherine, was he being fair to her? After what had happened he thought he'd never fall in love again, was he betraying her memory...? He wasn't sure... But... He did love Unisha... He had no idea that Katherine was alive now either, that would get... Complicated... "I will always be... Your guardian angel, my princess..."

Jake glanced over as he saw a bit of the ever so long pink hair, kinda made her obvious! He started to bring up a hand to wave to her, when it registered who was beside her there... Jake's eyes widened, he abruptly stood walking at a quickened pace towards the two, mainly looking at Katherine in disbelief... "It's good to see you again Jake..." Jake blinked, then looking to Unisha, then back to Katherine... You brought her here? he asked Unisha in her mind, almost in disbelief at that! "Katherine... I..." "You don't need to explain anything... You moved on, I understand, she's much more beautiful then I am anyway... I just wanted to come and make sure you were alright" "B-but... I..." Well this was awkward... He had only dreamed of the day he could be with her again but... Unisha had filled the hole left by her in his heart, and he loved her just the same, but Katherine had never left his mind either... "This is all so strange..." He never technically broke his other engagement... Did this mean he was engaged to two women at once? That was... Strange... And what about Kaden and Aiko anyway...?"I will always be... Unisha looked off to the side to hide a small frown, she noticed he seemed to be looking at Katherine more. Of course he would be, his long lost apprent love was back from the dead. Obviously he would be interested in seeing her! "...It was ether that or leave her to die..." She said, her voice seemed emotionless into his mind. That women didn't take off the ring, during that whole time, she still had it on. This just ate at her mind, it was almost as though she knew that he'd accept her back or something, so she didn't take it off! This meant he was......engaged to both of them at the very same time! The thought just..angered her.. "...I'll leave you two to...talk...It seem's you want to..I'll be around..." With that said, she turned away to go for a walk. They -did- need to talk, anyway. She wanted to say so much more then that, but she couldn't show anger toward him! To her sure, but if she did, he would get mad and that wouldn't help her much....

"It's alright, I can just leave, it's not like she has a crazy Ex-Fiancee to get in the way of you two" Katherine said that with a bit of a chuckle, not idea how right she was! "...Right..." He could tell Unisha probably left that part out for a reason... "You're not crazy, not like Fenris, I... Don't know what to do here... I love you, I practically killed myself over your death, we were engaged... But... I love Unisha now too... You have no idea how long it took me to move on... And she was there for me, to fill the hole in my heart left by yo-" "But I'm back... The hole can be filled really now Jake..." "Katherine..." He turned away I'm guessing you didn't tell her about Kaden and Aiko... he said in Unisha's mind "Jake I love you... I thought our devotion to each other was a soul devotion... Unisha shook her head, she really didn't want to stay and here any love talk between them! It was just wrong..but...she stayed, looking away from the pair. As she spoke of a crazy ex-fiancée, Unisha didn't say anything. Though her words were wrong and right at the same time! She did, though it seemed he gave up since she hadn't seen him in a while. Every time she did, he got beat up! It was no doubt he'd give up, right? Then as Jake began to speak, she..didn't at all like what she was hearing. He still loved that women? He just..openly said it! She didn't love anyone else, in fact she hated Fenris with a passion. And he...loved his ex. Oh this was not going to go to well. She listened on to there exchange of words, now the women seemed to be trying to talk him into going back to her! "You still love her....What am I supposed to say to that? You...just said you love her too....I want nothing at all to do with Fenris, I don't love him, I only love you.......I didn't tell her about Kaden or Aiko, not yet....Though now I wish I did..." Her hands tightend into fists at her sides.

"...You both need to quit trying to guilt me into anything..." Jake reached up, putting a hand to his head, did they not realize how much emotional pain this was causing him? And on top of everything he had been through already... He sighed, lowering his hand again "What... You need me to shift into a unicorn or talk in your mind?" "Th-that's not fair! You were dead!" "I came back!" "You came too late! I'm engaged!" "Yes, to me last time I checked!" "Check again, you've been gone too long" "So you'll just toss me aside?" "Look!" Jake growled out, turning away from the two, he was really getting a headache now... "I don't know alright? Do you think this is easy for me? It isn't..." "Cut him some slack!" Came a sudden voice as Desmond then stepped into view, getting in front of the two women, having been watching that whole time, maybe he was getting some Cissnei stalker powers! He looked to Unisha "You didn't have to choose him or Fenris, you never loved him, you can't know how hard this is, and you..." he then looked to the other woman there "...If he's already in love again you're not going to get him to just throw that aside for you again, maybe you two were together, but if that's history, it's history" "I think that's Jake's decision, you don't know how much we loved each other, surely he can't just toss that aside" "It's not tossing it aside, it's moving on, he's already going to get married again" "I don't need you to make my decisions for me" With that, he turned to them, pushing Desmond aside, not too hard or anything, just to move him "The wedding's off... Both of them, until I get time to think, I need to think, I JUST NEED TO THINK!" With that his wing extended from his back, and he rushed away into the air, Katherine gasping a bit "Jake! Jake..." She put her hands over her chest, closing her eyes and lowering her head I can't... I'm being so terrible to the one who saved me... But... Oh father, what do I do...? She said in her mind, her father had been... Killed before her eyes, a long time ago... She always asked for his advice, but of course never got an answer... "...Geez... I didn't think the kid had it in 'em...." Desmond rubbed the back of his head a bit, sighing, looking to Unisha "It's gonna be fine, don't worry, the kid's got a lot of sense" He said, trying to keep her from freaking out! "He just needs a bit to himself, some time to think, we all need that once in a while right?" God he hoped he was right, he wanted him to be with Unisha way more then this other girl! And he hoped Unisha wouldn't get irritated or anything "It's gonna be fine, just trust him and trust he'll make the right decision" he gave a friendly smile at that, trying to ease her worry of the subject...
