leaderpeine I just joined 3nodding and I have some questions. The HG/SS overworld sprites and the trainercards, where do you get those (a link would be nice). We have some wonderful members who make the Trainer Cards here. And the overworld sprites....there is a website that has all of them, including the emoticons, so you can just copy paste them into a paint document and such (I still don't how everyone got theirs animated >.>). I dunno the name of the website though, you'd have to ask Mikallen, Airelesanya, Macks Slasher, Andragoran or Sweet Pea Tea. They might have it....

We animate the sprites manually using Photoshop or some other program. As for raw sprites, this is a good resource.

Can we remind everyone to try and keep your posts a single color?
It's not really necessary to use a different color to denote speech or different characters.
Monotone would be more pleasing to the eyes and very much appreciated!

wow I thought it was a fad. I do like to have Laichi's dialogue red though. Gives her that Zangoose theme. But I will stop it for all the rest of the dialogue.

This applies more to a single paragraph than the entire post. (Right?) Seeing as those of us with multiple characters still divide them by color within a single post.

This is correct. 3nodding
However, so long as it's limited to separate paragraphs it's not so bad. I was more for stopping the switching of colours in mid-sentence rather than anything else. So long as the colour change starts a new paragraph and continues to the end of said paragraph it's not a big deal.

If you're going to do colors, do the entire paragraph and not just the speaking text. It looks much better that way.

edit: I didn't want to double post. Anyway, what steps do we take to add a personal villain or npc type of person that is keeping watch or stalking our characters?

And a** for the personal villain/npc I'd suggest establishing your character a bit more first, then introducing the new npc over time with glimpses and hints before bringing them in fully. Once you've been upgraded to active status then you could probably submit an NPC profile.
