Escaping the house yet again after the gray-haired teen seemed to have disappeared, Hikaru went to the city center, humming softly to herself as she reached the bustling area of the city. She was going to buy a bracelet - her momma-okaa-chan might like it. Sure, she hadn't seen the woman in forever, not since she rescued Hikaru from a group of people that cornered her in the city and spent a few weeks on healing her. It was as close to a mom as she could get since the mako monsters killed her parents back in Nibelheim nearly seven years ago.

Along with the bracelet {she bought a silver one with a small purple gem as the center piece of it}, Hikaru had also gone to the flower shop nearby, thinking of what to buy. Those red roses are alright, but her real parents weren't into red... buying two white and two pink lillies, two blue belladonna flowers and one small mako flower that was found at mako hotspots, Hikaru carefully wrapped them and left the shop, taking the flowers to the Meteorfall Memorial, where others have placed candles, flowers and plates all around for those they lost. Picking a spot that was slightly bare, she kneeled onto the ground and arranged the flowers as a small circle, placing the mako flower in the center of it.

Smiling to herself softly as she had sung the song that her mother used to sing all the time, Hikaru touched the mako flower for a little longer before she turned and sat down on the edge. She slipped the bracelet she had bought into her pocket, it being a little too large for her own wrist. Blinking her bright green eyes, she looked to her left to see a man with a harp, and a pretty lady who had stopped to talk to the man. Hikaru didn't hear much of their words, but she had heard some of the harp playing, and it was pretty. The man looked sad though.

Hikaru didn't seem to think that was as Isabel had, because she noticed that they both looked at her because of her song and waved to them as she got to her feet. 'The lady's hair is as gold as okaa-chan's wings,' she thought to herself. Walking over to them, she smiled gently. "Hikaru likes your harp," she said to the man as she pointed to the instrument in his lap. She was again talking in her third-person reference. "The song was pretty, too."

{I dunno why it is cute, but that's how Hikaru is. XD And she's Rosalia's adoptive-daughter, though at the moment it's more like Hikaru just calls her momma-okaa-chan because she likes to do so. Rosalia merely lets her for the time being. Lol}



Hikaru watched as the man smiled kindly and made a comment that she had a lovely voice in response to what she said about his harp and music. When he pointed to himself and told her and Isabel his name, she smiled and pointed to herself. "Hikaru is Hikaru Mizu. Nice to meet you Edward and Isabel." When Isabel blinked and said that she had to go, Hikaru tilted her head as she said she hoped that she meets them again, to the mansion near the church. As she left, Hikaru blinked. "Did she mean the Avalanche Mansion? That's what Omega said to Hikaru earlier," she asked as she looked back to Edward.

Hikaru clapped her hands once at the offer. "Alright! Hikaru doesn't have more work today, so she can go with you," she said as she stepped back to let him stand up. Yes, a thirteen girl that work was an odd idea, but she had been supporting herself for some time now. Besides, maybe her sort-of mother was there, or may have been there. Hikaru has carried around a single golden feather that hangs around her neck as a necklace. Not that Rosalia was aware of it, seeing as it was a feather that fell out of her wing at one point before she left to do whatever she was doing.

II. Ultima Weapon
==================

a) Where to find him

Ultima's a tricky one to find. Fly around the world map on the Highwind until
you find him in a huge crater on the first continent. You'll have to fight
him for a few moments then he'll run away. When he runs, follow him around.
He'll fly for a minute or two, then he'll stop again. You'll have to fight
him again. Just keep fighting and following him until he stops over Cosmo
Canyon. Once he gets there, it's the real thing.

b) Suggested equipment

Ultima's the easiest of the optional weapons, so you shouldn't have too much
trouble with him. Just be sure that your characters have the best equipment
possible up to that point and have decent HP (around 4,000). Be sure to have
an enemy skill material equipped as Ultima uses the spell, Shadow Flare,
which is the most powerful enemy skill in the game. I also like to go in with
Steal, contain, and high level elemental magic like bolt 3 and such.

c) Battle strategies

He should be pretty easy considering you only fight him for short periods of
time. Just have your long range characters use their normal attacks while
everyone else just casts contain and level 3 elemental magic. You might also
want to steal from him because he gives out pretty good items. Just be
prepared for Shadow Flare which he'll cast once you kill him. When you beat
him for good, you'll receive Cloud's final weapon, aptly named, "Ultima
Weapon".

III. Ruby Weapon
=================

a) Where to find him

On disk 3, fly into the red tentacle sticking out of the Corel desert right
outside of the Gold Saucer.

b) Suggested equipment

Your battle preparations are very important in this battle. He's hard as hell
unless you suit up right. Here's what I do:

? Kill off two of your characters prior to the battle
? Give the remaining character a mystile armor
? Pair Knights of the Round material (preferably with 2 stars) with HP
absorb
? Pair Command Counter material (mastered) with Mime
? Pair Master Summon with MP Turbo (optional)
? Equip the W-Summon materia (optional)
? Have around 7000-8000 HP

c) Battle strategies

If you prepared like I told you, this will be a breeze. Once you start the
battle, cast Knights of the Round (use W-summon if you have it and KotR has 2
stars). After that, just sit back and watch. When Ruby attacks you, you'll
instantly counter with a KotR summon (2 of them if you're using w-summon) and
you'll receive over 9,999 HP in return. You cannot lose. Go grab a sandwich
or something. 10 or so minutes later he'll be dead and your reward will be a
Desert Rose which you can trade with the Kalm Traveler for a Gold Chocobo.

IV. Emerald Weapon
===================

a) Where to find him

You need to take your submarine and dive into the water. You'll find Emerald
down there either roaming around freely or guarding the sunken ship Gelinka.
Touch him to begin the battle.

b) Suggested equipment

Use the exact same preparations as you did for Ruby weapon except be sure you
have as little materia equipped as possible and that you have the underwater
materia.

To get the underwater materia, you need to go down to the underwater reactor
and morph a ghost ship into a "Guide Book". Take the guidebook back to the
Kalm Traveler and he'll give you the underwater materia.

c) Battle strategies

This works much the same as it did for Ruby weapon. Just cast Knights of the Round and wait. If you don't have the underwater materia, you'll have to beat him within 15 minutes, which is a tricky task. Also, if you have too much materia equipped, one of his attacks will do 9,999 damage and kill you. So be sure to stay conservative. Take the item you receive from him to the Kalm Traveler and he'll give you a master summon, master command, and master magic materia. A very sweet prize.
