For everybody who wanted to know how Half Blood Prince was- It wasn't bad but the ending was different from the book and there are scenes that weren't in the book that are in the movie. Im still going to see it again, though.

Hello everyone new first year here biggrin
I thought HBP was the best of the movies so far.
Alan Rickman did an amazing job as always 3nodding
I'm looking forward to the next two (since they are splitting up the last one)
I'm also excited because Bill Nighy is going to play Rufus Scrimgeour

I read that Jamie Campbell Bower is going to be playing Gellert Grindlewald in the next movie (or the next).

Welcome to Slytherin, Ginjar and to answer your question. Im not sure why they are making 2 movies for it but I hope that with them making two movies that a lot of the book will be in the movies.

Yeah that would be nice,the last movie kind of lacked lots of detail, in my opinion.

Minister of Magic, checking in by Floo here. I'm on vacation, so please pardon my lack of official robes.
I noticed there is a distinct non-materialization of Slytherin emeralds in the House points. I am consulting with other officials and we have something planned. In the mean time, I want to welcome all you new Slytherins, and encourage you to name the Hogwarts staff in their vacation picture (see Read me first thread). There are 15 unclaimed points right there to the first 3 to post.
We do love to give prizes and rewards as well as House points 2 semesters ago, each top winner in each house received a fortune egg! Our coffers are not quite so full as that at present, but still there will be some nice giftings. So top off your wish lists, please, answer and start threads in the main forum. Dueling club (see the subforum) is just getting started again--great way to gain wisdom as well as years. You can badger (if you'll pardon the expression)ScottieBear'sMiaKitty of Gryffindor, who is over seeing the club.
And if any of you have ideas for events. for more Slytherin points (Put a smile on Draco's face....) please owl me. That would mean contest, event, any idea and how to do it. Since some notable Slytherins have graduated, well as I said, there hasn't been much heard from your cunning House in a while.
