The first thing Wolf got before Mephlius' parents even gave him a hand shake was a hug from Amnity. She was just as merry as he was, smothering him in her embrace. "Wolf! I'm glad to see you!" She hugged him a bit tighter before letting the poor boy go. "I was worried about you, but we'll talk about that later." She looked over to Mephlius' parents and smiled. "His mother and father came to New York for our wedding."

Sure Wolf was surprised to have his eyeballs almost squished out by Amnity, but he returned the hug, smiling. "Ah, I see. I could see the resemblance. I'm glad your ok too, Amnity, and on the subject of the wedding, when is it?" He extended his hand for Mephlius's parents to shake again, still smiling, looking over at Amnity.

Mephlius' dad took the handshake, chuckling a bit after the... vicious.. hug. "It's nice to meet you, Wolf." Mephlius' mom nodded, and smiled, but didn't reply. Mephlius shook his head 'no'. "We're not telling you when the wedding is. Nobody... except our parents... are invited."

"It is nice to meet you too." Wolf said, before he looked at Mephlius with a questioning look, and he was going to ask why before he thought again. The result Wolf found caused him to laugh just a little. "Ah...I see. I don't think most people would really think they needed a 12-year-old lycan boy at their wedding, though you and Amnity are not most people." He shrugged. "Oh well. Congrats again." Wolf's smile faltered for a second, but it resumed as normal. He sighed contently, happy again that he was with his friends.

Mephlius shook his head again. "That's not it at all. I mean... nobody. Not Circe, Zeig, Julian, Damian, Jacob, Kuro, Edith... nobody." He smiled. "It has nothing to do with the 12-year old lycan boy."

Amnity pulled Wolf into a comforting hug. "I'm sorry....I would have invited you. I was also thinking of making you the ring bearer." She sighed. "I'm sorry Wolf...And thank you."

Wolf hugged Amnity back. "I see..." He thought for a moment. "So it's some sort of private wedding, eh? That's a big step away from wedding crashers." Wolf laughed. "Just kidding. Seriously, why so...well...serious?" He asked. Wolf couldn't really think of a single reason why someone wouldn't invite barely anyone to their wedding.

Mephlius shrugged. "There's no seriousness about it. I mean... I'm not even wearing a tux. And I'm assuming Amnity's not wearing a dress." He said motioning at her. "We're just getting a priest, a chapel, and some family. I guess we didn't want to worry about the formalities."

Mephlius' phone rang. He picked it up. "Hello? Oh hey! Yeah. Sure. No, we're right here in the subway. Yeah, Robert and Karen just arrived. Alright. Alright, see you." Mephlius hung up the phone, and turned to the others. "Well guys... I got bad news. The humans will be showing up soon."

Though that was probably meant to be a joke, Amnity was horrified. Her stomach churned and growled as she covered her mouth. "Mephlius...When was the last time I ate?" She shook her head. She was already almost ready to shoot herself to keep from attacking some random humans coming out of the subway. "Mephlius, I don't think I can do this." The hunter clung on to his arm, her voice was laced with desperation and terror.

Wolf nodded, then was shocked at Amnity's reaction. "Wow Am...you really have a strange reaction to humans." He would have said something along the lines of 'Holy crap Amnity, control yourself.' But Mephlius' parents were here and Amnity was going to get married. "Just... calm down...Amnity, just don't think of that. Don't ruin your wedding before it begins." Upon thinking, Wolf found out he made his words more complicated then he wanted to, but Wolf just hoped Amnity would get it.

That made Amnity feel better. My grandfather thought he was the same.....Before I nearly threw him out a glass window. She chuckled lightly, because she knew she had to keep that a secret. And if it weren't for Mephlius' hold on her she would have tackled over a person that just stepped out of the subway, who smelled particularly delicious. No...Don't think about that. Calm down. "...Thank you Mephlius...I will be fine." She tried her best to smile. "I want to meet them."

Without letting go, Mephlius kept talking. "They won't be here for a few minutes. Do you wanna go get a hot dog or something?" It was hardly a question. A variety of meats from a variety of animals delicately cradled in starch... like dog treats to a... dog.
