Wolf chuckled and shrugged again, Then I'm gonna just keep heading down this trail until the wind blows along another one. It's fun to follow the wind when there's time to spare. As he spoke he moved past Kuro's hiding place and began following a bend to the north. His bare feet made no sound as he walked and left no mark on the fallen leaves or loose dirt of the ground. Some aspects of his earth magic were more instinctual than even Wolf realized.

Wolf shuddered and his ear twitched slightly as it was rubbed, he had never really found a way to override the sensitivity of his ears. He shook his head to clear it and nodded at Naromi's words. True enough, true enough. As he spoke he considered the last time he'd followed the wind with anyone else around. It had been a very long time and that was before they died and ended up in his head with the rest. He allowed himself to become distracted by his memories and as he did he was unaware of his own actions as he turned west down another trail when he felt the wind on his right cheek.

Wolf paused for a moment and tilted his head as he ran through his memories. Ah, sorry about that, you're right we've never actually met. I know of you through Shadow however, I'm still linked to his mind to a degree so I know alot about the BC and the people in it. The problem is I forget at times who I know and who he knows. I'm called Wolf, which you no doubt picked up from Rave's ranting. I'm an assassin from a compound that's a few days walk to the east. Well my compound now but I'm in the area because Shadow needs to be killed and no one here has done it yet. Problem is his damn barrier can keep me out as easily as everyone else. As he mentioned Shadow's barrier a low growl rose to the back of his throat before being smothered, he quickly returned to his light tone as though his frustration had never shown itself.

Wolf laughed again and let the conversation lapse, he simple enjoyed the wind and the scents it brought to him, he was careful in his wondering to keep track of where he was and not move more than five miles from the dojo. He figured he could walk for a few hours and then set Naromi down and hunt. If she woke up before that he'd let her head off where ever she was planning to go. It was so rare he spent any real amount of time around others since his latest change, he'd even moved away from his friends lately. Maybe this vacation would provide the perspective he needed to think as a person and not as a weapon.

Wolf laughed and said, Did you want to stop? I usually walk until I'm hungry or tired. If you don't want to stop right now then I probably will in another few hours. That's about the time I'd feel like hunting. He kept moving as he spoke but kept an eye out for a spot that would be a suitable rest area in case she said she wanted to stop.

Wolf tilted his head slightly to each side to crack his neck before saying, You're not exactly a heavyweight though, I'd say you weigh about the same as all my weapons and my journey pack, and definitely less than some of my meals that I've caught in the past. If I get tired I'll just set you down and go hunting, okay? As he spoke he sniffed slightly at the wind, he decided he might go hunting sooner rather than later. Then again maybe not, just walking was so much fun.

Wolf made a slight gargling noise as if choking as Naromi squeezed him, he then laughed and said, I can't stay for very long though, I have to check in on my home daily for council meetings. But I plan on spending a good bit of time in this area for the foreseeable future. I think I'm going to go on and hunt now instead of later, you can rest here and I'll come back in a bit with some food. As he spoke he moved to place Naromi on the ground. Once she was there he would simply shift into a large black wolf, and with a gaping of his mouth that looked like a grin, move silently into the woods to search for game.

Xol walked into the forest, murky grey aura still flaring out of his body as large blood red and smaller sky blue streaks of energy course along it's expanse. He stuck his gauntlet into and through a tree, yanking it up, roots and all before tossing it into the sky with a feral growl. "Grrrraaaaa!!!"

His normally crimson eyes were a blazing white color. With a powerful swipe which left an after-image from it's unearthly speed, a massive semi-circle radius of the forest around him fell to a devastating blast of hard wind. 90% of the trees in the attack were shattered to mere splinters and mulch.

"I'm too powerful for friends...friends are a hinderance. Friends will make me weak..." He said in a low, throaty growl, dipping low and slamming both gauntlets into the ground to pull up a 50 foot wide and ten foot deep chunk of earth. He ripped it in half, and violently threw each in opposite directions, the groaning and snapping of more trees was heard in their flight paths.

Xol stopped his rampaging as a black flame ignited around the outline of his body and quickly faded. All that could be heard was two dull thumps from the earthern chunks that finally stopped and his heavy breathing.
