Daz shrugged. "I saw you making quiche. I, knowing many french foods decided to make some as well. And yeah, if you help we can make the waffles faster" He finished up the last of the crepes and moved on to making waffle batter.

"OH I have no problem making waffles. I love to make them in fact. Where do we keep those darned irons? Ah here they are."
::Liam grabs for the waffle irons and stations them on the counter so that he could make 5 at a time. Quickly he runs along the counter with a ladle of waffle batter pouring enough to make the best darn waffles the students would ever eat.::

Daz stretched and sighed. Aside from the waffles, breakfast was done. He was happy for it. Just a few more days before it was time to be sorted. He plopped down in his chair and waited for the rest to be done.

I've been so busy on Official Hogwarts Business, I barely had time to help with Breakfast! And now it's time for dinner!
*Starts making dinner for the students while snacking on leftover vegetarian quiche. Notices the new elf*

Daz smiled and ruffled her hair. "Its fine." He grinned and plopped back down in his seat. "Just a few more days huh?" The smile on his face was broad. The soon to be slytherin was as happy as a well fed snake. The analogy was horrible but it fit.

"Yes I did get lost, but I have been to the kitchen before. I have been here for a few weeks now, just been lost ((Really I have been very busy with school and work and my computer being stupid)). But thank you anyways. Hmm. What should we make the students for dinner tonight?"

Back after a bit of a break, Pam is eager to start cooking in the Hogwarts Kitchens again. But first, she reaches for a cup of orange slushy to drink...

"Muffins! Here, Anneko will gladly assist you!" Anneko volunteered.
It would be time for the mass sorting soon, and as much as everyone was looking forward to it, Anneko was going to miss some of the cameraderie of being an elf... but hopefully, whatever happened, everyone could keep up their cross-house friendships as well as friendships within their own house.
But before she got too misty-eyed at the prospect, Anneko got to work making muffins. Nothing chases away the blues like baking!

Schnerkel hated falling asleep when work was to be done. But there she was, lying alone in the...cleaning supplies cabinet?! "Oi," she mumbled as she stumbled out of the cabinet, "Apparently Schnerkel had one too many sips of butterbear." She would have to remember not to do that next time.
The smell of dinner being made woke her up with a start and a big smile spread across her face. "I love dinner!" she started, "Can I star up on the dessert? I can make cheesecake!" With a grin she welcomed in those that had entered since she last feel asleep. "Hello Liam!" she cheerfully interjected, "And long time no see Pam!"

i spend my days.. i haven't been in the kitchens for a while..
it brings back so many memories of being a house-elf
i miss those days..
lonnie sighs,but then thinks of how lucky she is to be a student
lonnie smiles as she sees the house-elves hard at work as usual
"hello house-elves! sorry i haven't came to visit in a while..welcome,new elves! i'm sure you'll enjoy it here at hogwarts"
lonnie pauses for a while,then hurries off out of the door
she turns as she reaches it and says to the elves "only popped in to say hi.i'll leave you lot to it! keep up the good work"
lonnie opens the door and scurries off ..tangled in thoughts of you

"Thank-you Mistress!" Schnerkel beamed as the student paid all of the house elves a compliment. Schnerkel then noticed DrgnQueen and went over to introduce herself "Hello, my name's Schnerkel. Do you want to help us all with the cooking? You can make anything you'd like...or you can do some cleaning!"
