That's pretty nifty. I'm only somewhat familiar with chaos. I knew a friend who played it a few years ago when the objective was to load up into a Chaos Rhino, drive at full speed to the enemy line then summon demons. Not a strategy I'm particular fond of.
On a side note, was reading about their Chaos Raptor rule which I don't particular get, and I'm a fan of Chaos Raptors or any fast attack jump jet unit. I'm re-reading the Chaos codex I got off rapidshare to see if there's any obvious information I'm missing.
I heard everyone hates noise marines, which translates to everyone hates Slaanesh if the discussion goes on for long enough. I suppose overpowered superhumans wearing pink would get on your nerves.

What is it about the Raptors that you don't understand?

Serebrate... You know you just admitted that you've downloaded a Copyright product, and if they find this out you're toast. D:
Anyways, back to topic.
Lash od Submission + Defiler + Enemy unit = TONS of hits in 5th ed.
Scatter D6 minus BS in range = hits more likely as there's no more hits on 4+ on partially hit models.
Those fully sonic weaponry equipped noise marines sure is a pain in the a**, but they're also expensive.

Caleidah They've got loads of fun rules, whereas Night Lords only get infiltration. Night Lords don't even have Infiltration, as far as I'm aware. That's Alpha Legion. Night Lords had that Stealth Adept (+1 Cover Save, used up a Vet skill slot), and Night Vision (Which as of current rules is nearly pointless unless shooting a vindicare or perhaps one of six turns in a game at higher settings). Raptors are, regardless of what they use to be, Assault Marines now. They've lost Hit-and-Run, along with Visage. Those rules (Voluntarily leave combat and remain coherent, -2 to enemy leaderships in close combat) are gone. Use them as you would regular Assault Marines now. And has been said before, Lash of Submission is one of the most broken things in 40K, though you'll love using it. AP3 (Or better) Templates used along with it are sheer win for your side.

@ Drachyench
I believe that you are correct, Night Lords can treat Night Fighting as regular combat and are get something referred to "The normal limitation on Raptor squads does not apply to a Night Lords army". I'm not sure if this is dealing with the Hit & Run fallback rule or losing close combat, in regards to Caleidah's comment. I notice they also get to re-roll failed morale checks. Oddly enough, despite everything I'm reading about their use of stealth tactics, I can't find anything about them being able to infiltrate.
Also, Caleidah, I noticed if you use noise marines you can attach Warp Amps, which lowers the leadership of enemy units by 1 within 18 inches, 2 within 12 inches, or 3 within 6 inches. Good for anyone who uses charge tactics.

Per Old Codex, yes. Serebrate, I take it that you've not moved on to the new rules yet?

Caleidah Per Old Codex, yes. Serebrate, I take it that you've not moved on to the new rules yet? Not yet, but in a few days or whenever USPS decides to delivery it I will. I got most of my stuff through I-CON a while ago in person and most of it is in New York where I go to school as opposed to Florida where I am now.
@ Shinobi
ohno
I'm starting a Chaos army, so I'm getting the Codex anyway so GW gets their money out of it. To my knowledges, you're allowed to have digital backups, but blah blah. I'm pretty sure at least half the people here downloaded a codex before they had it in physical format.

It's still breaking the IP law, that's just what I'm saying. : D
And your knowledge isn't accurate if you read the IP laws. o:

-le gasp- D':
Anyways, I was up against a full Khorne Berzerker army the other day, had tons of fun, yey for close combat! : D <3
5 units of 8 Zerks, each having a P-fist Asp champ, 6 Termies (And by gKhorne I hate that you can't take normal zerks in termie armour... Let our old supreme bloodthirsty veterans with only WS5 wear terminator armour... MAKES NO SENSE! Termies needs WS5... XD ).
Daemon prince AND Kharne.
Vindicator~ Predator~ And all 5 Khorne units in Rhinos. : D
It was a magical battle on the most epic cityfight table I've seen in our gaming club, I should have taken pictures! >_<
But noooo~ The camera died because of low batteries... D;
I'm up for a rematch soon, against the same army since we were interupted and had to stop playing, so I'm going to try to get some nice pictures of the armies (I love this guy's chaos marines, he's going to be a golden daemon painter someday, mark my words...).

I have a question that I'm pretty sure is "no", but I figured I'd ask anyway.
Can a Thousands Sons army field a Lord of Change, and if so what would it count towards? HQ I'd assume? I figured that servants of a god might be able to use demons of said god.
