The pokemon's change was startling as the weak Magikarp turning into a raging Gyarados, and Shiloh wished for just a moment he had tried to capture his own ride. But, it wasn't meant to be as he shook his head, and smiled up at it.
No matter it's shape, and no matter the ride he would receive he was still happy. He had survived this island and though it was thanks to a detour, he had grown stronger.
What else could he hope for?
Thus, Shiloh took probably the ride from hell back to the academy. His journey on this island was done, at least for now.
A Bidoof rested on a lilypad, slowly chewing on the swampgrass. He watched as Karasu approached, slurping down on edibles. There was no fight in him... unless Karasu wanted it.
Jin-Hua would be teleported back to where she had been before the winter ball had happened. That's right. She was getting ready to try and leave the island after completing her mission. Before she would continue on her journey back off the island, she would release Li while holding onto the TM the Abra had given her before being teleported away. Ice Beam. It would be a good move for him to learn. Tapping him on the head with it, the TM would then break cleanly in half. It was after all, a one use item or so it seemed. Recalling the Shieldon and letting Longwei to trot at her heels and Sai perched on her left shoulder, she would begin the journey back off the island.

In the Garden of Monsters
[MUDSPORT! Electric Damage reduced by 50%!]
Maddie was an excellent maker of mud, something which in this particular instance would work against her. The Blitzle had thinned out the muck just enough to make it spread even further, covering the world around them...and herself...in a thick layer of wet soil.
Nodding his large head in approval, the Guardian would turn tail and disappear into the water....though he wouldn't be gone for long. In a surprisingly display of agility, the old cod-ger would breach and in an inconsistent circular pattern, yet mid-air he would always swing his head towards his opponent, intent on facing her head on!

This was it. They had finally reached the edge of the forest where it had all started. The girl remembered exactly what difficulties they had went through in the beginning. But they were a lot different now. Her pokemon were stronger and things were not as bad as they had been. It was time to finish this. That in mind, she continued moving forward ready to reach the end of her journey here.
Mere steps into the forest Jin-hua would find herself in the presence of a Pokemon....or at least what was left of it. Bruised in places and half eaten, a Cherubi was strewn across the path.

>Ooo, mudpies! The best kind... and Mom's not here to tell me no...< The Blitzle yelped happily as she shoved her head right into a thick pile of mud, flailing about. >ONOMNOMNOMNO-- OH HFIL IT'S IN MY EYES!< Maddie whinied, rearing up and coughing painfully. It burned! So she had to burn it back! With a wail, she channeled her Charge Beam right through her eyes... and by accident, sent it blasting towards the Relicanth!
Zander felt an intense pain in his body as he looked at his dear Cottonee and the opponent Ledyba. It was a strange sensation, he felt jolts of pain traveling from the tips of his fingers to the nub of his collarbone. He opened his eyes in shocked. This pain..it was an overwhelming excitement for battle. Battling was surely such a thrill, he hadn't expected this rush. Tony finally managed to dodge a attack for Ledyba so this was there chance. "I do enjoy battling you, Ledyba. However..Tony! Fairy Wind! Again!"
Tony grinned at Ledyba and followed her. >I am actually enjoying this fight as much as my trainer. This is a good learning experience for me. Thank you.< Tony smiled at the Ledyba. She was an interesting fellow..however. Tony had to concentrate. He sent a large fairy wind attack towards the Ledyba!

The girl saw the remains of the body and increased her pace. Who knew what kinds of predators that kind of thing would attract. It wasn't like she was afraid but would rather avoid too much confrontation when trying to leave the island.
Though the Lotad's sick moves are pretty rad, they're not enough to distract Shinx from the fact that they're in a battle. He makes sure to back up and avoid getting smacked by the Lotad's dancing and does so neatly, even giving the weirdo a few moments to finish his failed dance attack. Shinx doesn't even need to look to Poppy for guidance, familiar with the routine by now and lunging towards the Lotad, paw at the ready to deliver a Night Slash! >You're free to run away at any time cool guy, you don't have to humiliate yourself by letting others find you beaten later!< Poppy merely watches on in silent approval that Shinx can figure out what she'd call for him to use next, if they want this to end he's only got one offensive move.

Meulin the Disciple
">Like oh no bromigo, you did not just say that!<" The lotad called out, mildly outraged though he managed to keep his cool. Going from one dance to another, the Pokemon would attempt to use a display of fancy footwork to avoid his foes attack! ">One and two, and one and two and skiddly-diddly-doo~!<" He said, consciously watching his feet as he attempted to back away from his foe....eventually turning it into a moonwalk.
Unlike those that normally appeared at this stage in the adventure, Jin-Hua would find herself faced with an interesting foe. Rather than appearing with the rolling fog, hunched and hobbling, the girl's next encounter would enter with a flash and a bang. Though the fog did roll in, it was accompanied by glitter as a hooded figure dropped down from the trees. "GOOD EVENING BEAUTIES AND GENTLE BEAUTIES! IT SEEMS WE HAVE OUR LATEST CONTESTANT!" They cried, talking into what was quite clearly a branch and not a microphone. "Here's how it works little lady! If you wish to proceed you must succeed! Now answer me these riddles threee~!" He said his voice just a bit too perky and mirthful for the setting.
"What....is your name?" He asked first, holding up a clearly wooden finger.
"What....is your quest?" Two fingers now, followed by the faint rustling of leaves.
"And finally..." He paused for the dramatic tension
"This thing all things devours: Birds, beasts, trees, flowers; Gnaws iron, bites steel; Grinds hard stones to meal; Slays king, ruins town, And beats high mountain down."

Unfortunately for Maddie, this Relicanth wasn't going down easy! Through the electricity hit true, the solid covering of mud over himself and just about everyone else would manage to ground much of it, dampening it's effects! ">That'll learn ya whippersnapper!<" The Relicanth called out as he crashed into the blue once more ">Here, why don't I help ya clean off? Have a little water!<" The next moment the Guardian was flying through the air, his tail soaked in the bog and glowing bright blue. Maddie was about to be slapped by a fish, and worse yet one using Aqua Tail!

>A bath? Why would I bathe when water falls from the sky... and is on the ground.< The Blitzle paused, tilted her head to the side before rearing up in the air. >NEVERRRRRRRR! DIRT FOR THE DIRT THRONE, MUD FOR THE MUD GOD!< With a whinny, she took off, bouncing into the mud.
