Familiar Description: Balthazar is an American crow. You can see in the refs that he's black with some really dark blue tones, but I'd like more black than blue. Basically just color him like a crow and you'll be set. o/ Also I really like the dark gray eye color in the second ref.

He wears a necklace (string or lightweight chain, cc), with an Aztec coin of some kind as a pendant, totally cc. The medallion should be pretty decently sized, but no bigger than the circumference of his head. It should be angled as if he's really wearing it, i.e. not directly facing the viewer, but tilted enough so that everyone can appreciate some of the details you might want to put into it. XD
