"Yeah, I probably forgot something too." Teagan said, sighing as she looked over at Gen. Sure, she had packed everything, but after the alert had been sent to everyone..there was just a mass number of teens running around and throwing things into their bags. Chances were, she had probably wound up with a few things that didn't even belong to her.

"Ugh, I feel hiccups coming on." She said, pulling a hankercheif from her pocket and holding it over her mouth as she hiccupped, cupping the small cloud of green gas in the hankercheif.

"Ew. That is just. . . eew." Jamie said looking at the cloud of green gas that Teagen had just hiccuped up. He was just standing up when the buckle your seatbelts sign came on, so he sat down with a frown. Something Penny had said had thrown him off, and he hadn't gotten a chance to ask her about it.

One of our allies is in trouble so the X-Men have been called to duty. That's what she had said. Xavier hadn't said anything about someone missing, which meant that Xavier had told the 'leaders' while leaving everyone else out of the loop.

Jamie sighed. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. That's how Xavier works. . . Jamie sat through the liftoff, and then stood up when the buckle your seatbelt sign was gone. He walked into the cockpit and looked around. "Slim! When did you get here?" Jamie didn't even listen to whatever uptight comeback Scott was sure to come up with.

"Penny. . . You said someone's in trouble. Who is it?"

Jamie nodded. "In that case, I'm gonna go try to get a bit of sleep. Just in case we gotta be ready immediately." Jamie said, and backed out of the cockpit, looking for his seat. When he found it he leaned back quickly, and heard a yelp. "Oops, sorry Bobby." Jamie said looking back at Bobby Drake, before pulling the seat up a bit more, and pulling out a blanket.

He draped the blanket over himself, and popped on his headphones, falling asleep quickly.

Morgan was simply sitting quietly in his seat, his eyes closed. He was running through a mental checklist of battle preparations. If these guys were strong enough to take on Jacen, then they were going to be damned hard to fight. Well, at least the Masamune wasn't going to be gathering dust.

He opened his eyes, and looked around the cabin. The atmosphere felt tense. Not surprising. This was probably going to be one hell of a fight. At least I won't have to worry about fighting against comrades this time, Morgan thought to himself. He closed his eyes again, and just focused on the battle ahead.

"Thanks." Teagan said softly, taking the bottle of water from Sonya and taking a sip. She crouched down in her chair after hearing Jamie's comment, her face beat red. She held her breath, attempting to fight off the hiccups, taking another sip of water as she looked out the window.

Who am I kidding? Of course it's gross. It's freakish too. She thought, hugging her knees, sighing softly as she looked out at the clouds they were passing.

They were going back to Bayville, and Courtney was happy, though that would probably fall soon enough. She still hated to travel and it would still make her a b***h, but she was still happy to leave the tacky beach house. Pietro and John looked damn serious about going back, and Corky wasn't sure exactly what was going on. It looked like big buisness, because this time they were going back on what she assumed was Peitro's family jet. She had to give him snaps for that.

Jacen coughed heavily as he reappeared in a very cold, dank building. The floor was made of stone, and it radiated a sharp chill that could only be produced through a constant wind and rainstorm.

"I told you it was going to be discomforting," Amelia said with a smirk as she left the room. Jacen finished coughing up a lung and started to slowly stand, when he felt a pain again in the back of his head.

"And we were successful," the man who had entered the room said as he levitated towards Jacen, "The traitor has been brought to us....almost as if it was fated for him to die by our hand."

"....I......was expecting to be jumped by you guys....sooner....or later," Jacen said between gasps of air. He was quickly being sapped of his energy, and felt almost as if he was slowly dying. "I...just didn't...expect....."

"Expect me?," Exodus said, chiding his former ally, "You, of any mutant should know, that acts of treason are set for me to deal with by Lord Magneto, himself." Exodus' eyes flashed brightly, and at that same time, Jacen lurched forward in a great agony. Within half a second, Jacen was lying barely alive on the cobblestone floor.

"Shackle him to the wall, and post two of you at the door at all times," Exodus said as he floated out of Jacen's cell, "I want rotating shifts."

Jacen woke up after what seemed like only a few minutes had passed. What woke up, aside from the pain in his head, was the dank smell of mildew in the cell. He tried to move one of his arms, but felt his wrist heavily weighted down. Bound and prone, it seemed he was. Of course, he had expected this to happen. The assault by the Acolytes. He knew how devoted they were to Magneto's cause...his vision, and he knew that the simple act of walking willfully away from their cause was an invitation for execution.

Feeling the taste of copper fill his mouth, Jacen spat on the ground, only to have the taste creep all over his tongue. I'd say this can't get any worse, but given the circumstances......, he thought as he tried to wrestle free from his shackles. He tried to power himself up to snap the chains, but the combination of his energies still being drained, and the heaviness of the chains kept him from doing so.

While he sat with this back to the wall, he said quietly, "Someone will find me.......someone will....." Then reality hit him. He wasn't an X-Man. Magneto's goons were the perps behind this. All his options for salvation were exhausted, all but one. He had a feeling that Evelyn would do what she could to find him, but that was only one person....then the grim reality set in. When he left for Canada, he didn't know it at the time, but it seemed that that was the last time he was going to see her. After realizing that, Jacen let his weight fall a bit, his body being supported by the chains, feeling a rather massive amount of regret that he had decided to try and help his family......

Gen sighed. "Jokes are one thing... but maybe you should think before you speak. We've all had the jokes thrown at us, none of us like it. But some of us are less likely to deal with a joke the way you are... That's all I'm saying."
