She shook her head and went back to her experiments all the while monitoring Idan in the other room.

A couple weeks later Idan was doing what he did everyday... sit on the bed while staying out of Darkfangs way. He rationed his food so he wouldn't have to bother her with more.. 'shopping' and talked to Chev every night. He missed his brother.. especially his bedtime hugs... but he knew better than to ask Darkfang for that...

A few weeks later Darkfang was left staring at her latest experiment results. They were...promising. She'd developed a formula that could rapidly create cells at the same rate her earlier formula could target and destroy damaged cell. More than that, she'd finally managed to bond the two agents so that they could work simultaneously...at least in theory.
"The only problem..." she muttered. "Is if the second agent fails..."

Idan peeked out, curiously watching her work. He really wanted to ask how she was doing but had a feeling she might snap at him instead...
