Kale smirked. 'Home thats behind us, or our real home?' he teased, trying to cheer her up a bit, wanting to see her smile.
"1." Selene stated, her fingers flexing.
Talon still didn't let go, glaring at her jus as she was glaring at him.

Still no reaction from Talon.

She couldn't help it; Kaida smiled and sighed happily, leaning against his chest and holding his hands, looking up at him. 'Our real home.' She said, taking a finger and outlining his oh-so-adorable smirk. She was slightly aware of Talon, but Kale was more important.

Kale seemed disappointed slightly, but kissed her finger softly. 'Aww, but I was having so much fun in this bed. I was able to get more noise out of you. Back at home you hold back cause you're afraid the entire house will hear you.'
Selene narrowed her eyes, her fingers tightening on his wrist. "Thr..." she started to say, but Talon cut her off.
"I'll let go if you promise not to go." Talon stated finally. "Your word, Selene."
"I can't give you such a promise." Selene replied, hissing.

Kaida shook her head slightly. 'I consider this new house our real home now, Kale. Not the old one, where family hardly meant anything. This one, this is what I call home. And even if we left, that place would be home. But not the mansion.' She told him, hoping that this would be okay for now. Maybe he would feel the same way.

Kale blinked surprised, she actually sounded like her age, whereas before she acted much younger. What's more...he hadn't heard the word family in such a long time from someone else that well... he looked away in shame. 'Kaida, I like it here too, but... well, family... I've forgotten what it is and what it means. The closest thing I have to knowing the meaning of family is you as my mate and the children we'll have, but other than that it's protecting those of the mansion and making Talons day worse.'

'A family is being with the people you love. The people who make you happy, Kale. The ones whom you can fight with and hold a grudge for, but eventually give it up. If... if that was at the mansion, then we can go back. Back for you. I will do what you want, live where you want, bear as many children as you please. I don't care where, Kale. Cause the only family I have is you and partially Talon. So I know, wherever er go I'll be happy, just as long as you are.' She said, feeling bad about him. She turned his head back to her and kissed his lips softly and meaningfully.

Kale kissed her back, still feeling a bit stupid for not knowing the meaning of family. 'We'll stay here for a bit. Heck, I think we'll stay here until I'm satisfied.' he teased.

Kale couldn't help but burst out laughing, breaking the kiss. He was laughing so hard, he had to clutch his side. He didn't even notice that the staring contest that Talon and Selene ended up in, that he ended up interupting it with his sudden laughter.
Talon turned raising an eyebrow, but still not letting go of Selene. "What's so funny..." he questioned. Also questioning Kale's sanity silently.
"Maybe he finds you funny since you're acting way out of character from your usual personality..." Selene stated annoyed.

Shou had finally arrived at his destination, it was a small field with nothing around except for a large mansion, Shou stared at it and turned to Dolly "hey...dont tell my uncle you're a vampire okay..." he said almost as a warning and walked slowly up to double doors

Kaida giggled and watch him laugh. Now that she thought about it, this was the first time he laughed a lot, and she was happy. She watched him, though, and couldn't help but chuckle.
Dolly nodded, but questioned, "Won't he smell me?"

"no, he's human" he told her and knocked on the door, almost instantly a man handsome middle aged man opened the door, he looked at the two of them and smiled "well if it isnt shou, what brings you here?" shou smiled back at him "sorry Daine, we needed somewhere to stay...and i was wondering if we could.." "of course you can!" he said cutting him off, he turned to Dolly and his smile grew "hello my dear" he said grabbing her hand and kissing it "i am Daine Pheonix, pleased to make your aquaintence" he moved to the side letting the two enter his home

Kale was still laughing for a good 5 minutes when he finally was able to calm down a bit, if he were human he'd have tears in his eyes. "Oh boy, that was funny. I can't believe how right that is."
Talon had left with Selene to get Cayden, not trusting her to not go after the elders. When got to the building, Selene raised an eyebrow. "You can't be serious, you took a child in here?" she questioned in unbelief.
Talon just smirked and took her inside, looking for Cayden.
