"Oh...oh dear, please miss don't cry" The shop keeper wasn't quite sure what to do. It wasn't everyday she had a stranger come into the shop and start crying. "Umm, I'm sure that I might have something that could help you protect your friends from him...umm " She had a feeling that asking her what the man would do to them would be a bad idea. "Just..stay here for a minute..." she went into the back of the shop to start looking for..something."

Mitsu watched the lady leave to the back and wondered what she could have that would help. Rubbing at her eyes she rid them of their un-shed tears. She seemed to have been crying a lot lately and it wasn't really helping anything. Honestly she was glad the others weren't here to see her. Leaning against the counter, Mitsu stared at the little charms and wards that the lady had pointed out before. Would there be something so simple like this to help protect everyone?

In the back the shop keeper was left to scramble in haste for something that she could give to the girl. Truth be told her amulets and wards were only good for stopping magic. And not very powerful magic for that matter. She may be a dragon, but making a very powerful amulet took time and energy. Still, she was honest in her dealings...or at least tried to be. She would give the girl something.
She rummaged around boxes and shelves, looking for anything that may be of use. At one stage she tripped over leftover box and feel on her face. "Ooww..." Rubbing her face were it had landed, she then noticed a bracelet she had missed earlier. "Aha! this might help" Standing up she emerged triumphantly, holding up the bracelet for mitsu to see. It was very simple; a silver chain with a small charm at the end, containing a carved symbol.
"This bracelet isn't very strong, but it can prevent you from being tracked down" she explained. Although she failed to explain that it would only prevent certain magics that could be used to track people

Hearing the crash Mitsu was worried something was terribly wrong. Thankfully the lady emerged not long after and she seemed to be okay. Her eyes lite up as she looked at the bracelet the lady presented her, a little bit of relief calming her. Now it did sound like something useful. If Suto couldn't find her then there was no risk he could find everyone else.
Then the sudden thought hit her that she hadn't brought any money. She wasn't even in her normal clothes, Yuki had allowed her to keep at least a couple of the gold coins on her that she had received from a stranger. Unconsciously she still patted at the pockets on her dress and was surprised to find something was inside them. Reaching into a pocket she pulled out a gold coin. That was odd, but maybe it would be enough. "Will this be enough?" Mitsu asked sheepishly.

"ahh..." she faltered when she saw the one piece of gold the girl would offer to her. Normally her cheapest charms would cost around 5 pieces of gold. The girl had no where near enough...
Still, she couldn't just not sell her the item. She had went through all that trouble looking for the thing. And if she said no, she was sure the girl would start crying
"Well, today you are very lucky indeed" The shop keeper stated "I was just about to put this on sale, and the intended price was going to be 1 gold, so yes, you do have enough." She tried not to think about how much money she was about to lose. Dammit when did she get so soft.

"Really?" Mitsu suddenly looked a lite with joy as she handed her one gold piece to the woman. "Thank you. You have no idea how much this means that I have a way to protect my friends." So maybe being up so early wasn't so bad after all....even if she never actually slept.
Taking the bracelet carefully Mitsu started to examine it. Tiny etchings covered the piece of jewelry from one end to the other in an intricate design. As she held the piece of jewelry a small amount of smoke began to form and she quickly dropped the piece back on the counter. She had not yelled out, despite how much she had wanted to. Looking to her hands she saw the lite burn marks across her fingers, just like the cross shaped scar that was still outlined on her palm.
"I....I don't understand." Leaving the bracelet where it was Mitsu didn't bother to reclaim her gold coin. Instead she backed out of the shop and back into the street. Why did these items burn her? She didn't understand. Sighing in frustration she made her way down the street in no real direction. Maybe there was another answer here, she just had to find it.

Inu-Mitsu The sun had finally rose and the light filtered into the room assaulting Neko in the face. Groggily he came too taking in the unfamiliar surroundings until his eyes settled on Hitsu. With a smile he wrapped his arms around her pressing a soft kiss to her cheek. Hitsu stirred lightly in Neko's arms, a sleepy though contented purr emitting from her as she opened her eyes slowly to look up at him. Though it took her a moment to remember where she was, it took little time for her to recall it. There was no confusion or fear; she smiled softly to Neko and curled against him. "I want to sleep just a little longer..." Hitsu said quietly, wrapping her own arms around him and snuggling close.
"Nngh..." Yuki grimaced and tugged the covers over his head to block out the light of the room. It made his head hurt. A lot. "Someone turn off the damn light..." He grumbled half coherently, convinced that it had to be far too bright in here for it to be natural light.

"What the..." before the shop keeper could say anything, the girl had bolted out the door. "wait, miss you forgot your money!" she shouted, then sighed, looking at the bracelet that was now sitting on the counter. "I didn't realize...I thought she was pure wolf, but I must be mistaken..."
The movement and the grumblings awoke poke from her virtual battle zone. Confused for a minute she sat up trying to remember where she was. Oh yeah, they had to share rooms. And it seemed yuki was starting to feel the full affects of a hangover.
She sat there on the futon and pondered what to do. Sleeping in some more sounded like a good idea, although she could always go for some breakfast. Glancing at yuki on the bed, she pondered finding atticus and asking for a hangover cure.

"Sure thing," Neko replied softly allowing her ample room to snuggle in close. Once she was settled he propped his head up on his hand to watch her sleep. It was a surreal feeling to have actually woken up here. He was certain he would have woken up in the room with Yuki and this all would have been a dream.
---
Besides a bookstore and all the food stands there was nothing else really open. She had glanced at some of the books and realized she couldn't read a thing. It was written in a language that was unfamiliar but she was certain she had seen it before. Maybe she was mistaken, she was so drunk with lack of sleep that nothing was making much since.
Seeing what else was in the area Mitsu's gaze settled on a smithy. It would have been interesting to check out but it looked to be abandoned. The tools in the front looked to have sat neglected for some time. Her gaze only settled there for a moment longer before she moved on. She wasn't sure what she was looking for but she was fairly certain she wouldn't find it here.
----
Tobi gave a soft whine as he looked up at the cat that now lay cuddled in Riyo's arms. His tail still wagged a bit but it was uncertain if he still wanted to play or if he were merely curious. He didn't stay there long, however, as something caught his interest. Turning back toward the door he bolted outside. When he was clear of the house his vision settled on what had caught his attention, it was the smell of the wolf girl in their group. Bounding over to Mitsu he jumped up tapping her legs with his paws.
"Oh!" Surprised Mitsu stumbled forward a bit but managed to stay on her feet. "Tobi?" She turned toward the little dog, his eyes overjoyed to see her. "So this is where you ran off to." Turning she knelt down beside him and reached out a hand to pet him. It wasn't until her fingers started to go through his fur that she remembered the burns she had sustained and quickly withdrew her hand from the pain. "Sorry Tobi, my hands..." She presented her hands to the dog so that he could see for himself. The only reply she got was a soft whine as Tobi licked at her finger tips hoping not to agitate the burn.

Riyo cradled the cat in one arm while giving him a chin rub with the other. Nothing like a good chin rub. Out of her mouth came soft cooing sounds, but no baby talk. That was one boundary she wouldn't cross. It was, however, a side of her Riyo liked to ignore.
Though her attention was quickly divided when Tobi bolted out the door. What had gotten into him? Peeking out of the shop, she spotted Mitsu almost immediately. "Hey there~" Riyo called, waving with her free hand.

Blade couldn't help but be mildly amused with watching Riyo cradling the cat like that. Jasper continued to purr softly and lifted his head as he was rubbed beneath the chin. His tail swished lightly out of happiness and comfort as he laid there in her arms.
When Tobi darted out of the door, the thief blinked and followed Riyo to look outside. Spotting Mitsu pretty quickly as well, he waved to her while wondering if she managed to get any sleep last night.
"Hey Mitsu," he greeted while approaching her, "How are you feeling today?"

Standing back up a bit unsteadily Mitsu waved to both Riyo and Blade, her hands quickly dropping back to her sides. She refrained from rubbing at her tired eyes, despite how much she wanted to. "I'm uh....I'm okay." It seemed like she had to think about it a bit but the answer wasn't completely uncertain. "Who do you have there?" Mitsu pointed to the kitty in Riyo's arms as she approached the two at a slow pace.

"This is Jasper." Riyo promptly responded to Mitsu's question before Blade could, hoping the cat didn't mind being introduced to her other friend. Riyo met Mitsu half-way, gesturing to the cat with her free arm. "I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you wanted to pet him."

From her hesitant reply, Blade could only guess that she was still somewhat shaken or upset from the previous night. Though, he didn't press it. Most likely Neko hadn't awaken yet... especially considering what he had heard in the middle of the night. So it was safe to assume she hadn't received her apology yet either.
Jasper sniffed out at the new humanoid, and his ears twitched in curiosity. This one smelled of wolf, so he wasn't nearly as interested in her as the one who held him. He just lazed comfortably in place while watching the three around him.
"We found him in the smithy," added the thief, "I think he may have belonged to my grandfather before..."

Dark circled eyes looked to the cat with curiosity. She smiled slightly as she reached out a hand to stroke the fur on the cat's side. It was much softer than Tobi, its fur reminded her of a soft blanket or toy but it still wasn't soft enough to prevent pain to her burn. Retracting her hand slowly she curled her fingers against the pain as she let her hand drop to her side. "He's very soft."
She then turned to Blade as he mentioned his grandfather. "Your...Grandfather?" She questioned looking up at the smithy. "Was he ...?" She seemed to trail off losing her train of thought but she turned back to Blade in a manner that might suggest for him to complete her sentence.
