Deryx is sitting on the couch and watching TV, his pokemon off some where most likley getting into trouble, but he didn't care at the moment.

I walk in with a happy screech of, "Happy belated turkey day!!!" Plopping down beside Deryx on the couch I pull out a whistle shaped like a Spearow and blow it cheerfully. "Sorry I haven't been around, but I crashed a Thanksgiving party over in Sootopolis and couldn't make it back for a while, what with the Wallace getting surprised and making his Milotic Ice Beam me... Anyways, back!" With that, I grab an Inuyasha manga and begin reading it cheerfully, pausing every few seconds to exclaim "Kirara! There's your namesake!" and scare the poor Poochyena out of her wits.

*Hunter stops as the picture changes*
Me: Wha?
TV: We come to you from above Pacifidlog, where blue Grimer have begun to attack the residents. Any escape by boat has been made impossible, so helicopters have been sent for, and will be arriving soon.
*The screen changes back to the game, but Hunter is no longer watching. Instead, he is running outside*
Me: We need to get there quick. They have no idea what these Grimer can do

"Right, sure sounds like we need to." he rushes outside and takes out a pokeball and brings out his Starly
"C'mon Starly, we gotta get to Pacificdlog!" he exclaims as he grabs onto his bird pokemon's feet.

Me: Hey Sora, we need to get to Pacifidlog now

Sora turns around and goes the other way, walking outside. "Pacifidlog? Why... nevermind. I'll find out later." Sora says as he releases Charizard.
