Now I'm looking through this whole clan/bloodline thingy. How do I go about doing that? Do I just put it in my profile or is there a thing I have to do to get accepted?

To join a clan, you need to PM the clan owner. It should be listed who the owner is at the bottom of the clan info post. ^^

Well, you should make your character first. Then pm the owner and ask if you could join. But after the owner accepts it, it has to be cleared with the -kage of the village you wish to join. I'll make a list of popular villages.
Konoha - Proto

Suna - Zineal/Kouri
Oto - Vicious Kira/ Cheerios18
