He wanted to head to the library but there wasn't much fighting he wanted to do or was really even capable of doing. So the next best thing was to head to the academy and alert Bumu-sensei. She was definitely capable of handling the intruders. "Tenshi, go to the academy and alert Bumu. I will stay back here and make sure there are no other intruders here. He may have to spend time to learn the medic technique... maybe... "Besides, I feel much better doing something about it anyways." He stretched his arms and legs before running, seeing as running was never really his thing. "If I don't see you before the exams, then good luck." He then ran off into the grove.
He didn't make it far before he crashed flat on his face. He looked at his feet to see the log that was giving him problems before! For heaven's sake! I ought to burn that damn thing! He stood up and kicked the log before returning to the urgent matter at hand, I need to find Bumu-sensei...
Tenshi kept running through the grove, jumping over fallen trees and dips in the ground. Luckily he had a good memory to which direction to head. Now he simply had to watch his footing. He jumped over a ditch, and for a moment he felt like he was flying. He landed gracefully on the other side and kept running for the academy. Hopefully she was still there.
Tenshi almost missed the log coming his way. At the last minute he jumped over it, placing his hand on it to give him balance and leverage over it. He easily made it over and continued his running for the village.

He soared over it, but his clothes caught on a brolen branch and so he was thrown off course and fell to the ground with a hard thud. He had to stop to catch his breath before getting himself back up. "I can't sit here, I got to find her before they get what they came here for."
With words of encouragement he resumed his speed of running. Of course it seemed to take forever to get out of the grove when there was an emergency. He had to crawl between two fallen trees, seeing it as a waste of time and energy to run around them. Luckily it wasn't very difficult and he was on his way further out of the grove.

TADѳɗɢє βѳɳus: 13❆ ╚════════╝ ❆tenshi had to remind himself to breathe or else he would pass out. He noticed a hill and the loose gravel just in time. His feet tried to unbalance him, but good thing he worked on his balance and foot work. He made it to the bottom of the small hill and picked up his pace. He could see the village through the tree line now. Any moment and he would be entering the populated area of the village. If he was lucky he would see Bumu on the way, no doubt flirting with every man in sight.
His thoughts remained on his former sensei. It was very difficult to remove her from your mind after she wiggles her way in there. Of course she could flaunt herself like that. As a ninja you learn to get the job done by any means necessary... her 'charm' was simply one of her strong suits. He almost missed the large branch at chest level, but he managed to pry his mind off Bumu-sensei in enough time for him to dodge the branch. Focus... you need to pay attention! You're already terrible enough at running, no need to add something else to the mix.

TADѳɗɢє βѳɳus: 13❆ ╚════════╝ ❆Tenshi kept up his pace, which actually surprised himself. He wasn't spending time taking breaks or laying on the ground. Then his next step was further down than he thought. He came across a hill and he began tumbling down. He felt every stonne, twig, and mound of dirt on the way down. When he hit the bottom he found himself alive, which was a plus, though he was now aching. Not a plus. He needed to get to Bumu.
With every aching step, he pushed himself harder until he conditioned the pain away and was back to full speed. He made sure to remain cautious and be on the alert for hills to avoid another incident. He heard of people dieing from falls like that. One wrong landing and that's was the end of it. He came across a fallen log and hurdled over it, leaving it behind him.

His foot had found a dip and caused him to fall on his face. At least he was lucky enough there wasn't a hill. He wiped off his clothes which were now dirty with sweat, dirt, and grass. His mother would definitely make him clean his own clothes.
He returned to running. He was getting closer. Any moment abd he would break free of the grove and enter the village itself. Bumu should still be in her classroom. He hoped. He dodged trees and branches easily as they began looking like blurs as he passed them. He wondered if Batsu would find any others... hopefully he could handle them himself. Perhaps Tenshi would return or follow Bumu-sensei.
He'd wait till he found her first. Worry about one thing at a time. I'm still not even in the village yet. he jumped over a creek that was running through the grove. He would have to remember that place for future training. It seemed peaceful enough. He gracefully landed on the otherside without getting wet. Maybe my luck is changing...

TADѳɗɢє βѳɳus: 13❆ ╚════════╝ ❆the edge of the grove was in clear view. All he had to do was jump over another creek and he was home free. He bounded over another fallen tree, using his hand as he did before.it was smooth sailing. He came up to the creek and had to stop to readjust his paces.
He took a few steps backward and sprinted at the creek. At the last second he lifted himself off the ground and jumped the larger creek. Any bigger and it could be considered a river. He looked back into the grove to hear anything from Batsu and then headed to the academy... He had a job to do.

[PASS} Batsu nodded as Tenshi wished him luck on the exams. He managed to crack a small smile, but that turned into a nervous chuckle when Tenshi took a bit of a fall just as he was leaving. "Poor kid, I hope he's okay." The boy eventually ran to a nearby tree and started to climb it and rested on the highest tree branch. Being high up gave him a good vantage point and he was going to make the best of that.
[PASS] As he perched on the branch, he saw a glimpse of Tenshi still running until he faded in the distance. After that, he went and looked around the forest. He didn't really see anything except for a few animals and whatnot. Nothing to worry about. Still, it had already become boring to him. Oh well, it gave him some peace and quiet and meant that he could do some more training after surveying the area.
[FAIL] Batsu started to transfer from tree to tree but made a misstep and started to plummet to the ground. Luckily he caught a tree branch on the way down and held on for dear life. As he stabilized he pulled himself up and sighed a sigh of relief. The fall could have been catastrophic and knocked him out cold if it didn't kill him. Well, he was okay and that's what mattered. He went right back to looking over the grove and thinking.
[PASS] The boy kept keeping watch over the wooded area and saw no threat whatsoever. Good. But Batsu decided to go ahead and hit the ground and survey the area that way. It was much safer than being in the trees and possibly falling... and he did just that. Batsu jumped down and walked around the grove. Still nothing outside the flora and fauna of the forest. Batsu continued walking around the area.
[FAIL] The boy continued to look around and see the various animals of the forest. He actually ended up being sidetracked watching all the smaller lifeforms scurry about. He was going through and trying to figure out the official name for them. Reading his books definitely came in handy for this sort of thing. Batsu just kept pointing and naming the animals... completely forgetting that her needed to keep watch over the forest.
[FAIL] "Man... this is boring" he thought to himself as he watched the animals pass by. He named every animal there was to name which left him to do nothing again. The boy sighed slowly and went to walk around the forest some more. The boy walked from where he was to the end of Kiri before turning and heading in the opposite direction.
[FAIL] As Batsu continued to watch the animals a butterfly landed on his nose and it brought him to a smile. He wiggled his nose a little bit and the insect flew off. It wasn't long after that it perched on his shoulder and he smiled even harder. The boy stuck out a finger and the winged insect fluttered and landed on said finger Batsu bought the butterfly to his face and he looked at the little guy.
[FAIL] The boy damn near went cross-eyed in order to see the butterfly on his finger. But upon inspection, he realized that it was a monarch butterfly. The thing's wings were absolutely beautiful. He couldn't stop staring at it. Apparently, neither could the butterfly. But it was quite sad, he knew he had something to do. So Batsu turned his hand around and jerked his finger upwards. With that, the gorgeous butterfly flew away.
[PASS] Batsu went back to the task at hand and patrolled the grounds some more. He walked around on the ground and touched every tree that he passed by. He ended coming across an anthill and he stepped over it... despite the fact that he hated ants. It was just something about them that creeped him out. They were definitely some of the most unified insects, but they were just gross to him.
[FAIL] As Batsu hopped over the ants, he ended up slipping on a stick and he fell forward. Luckily, he didn't land on the ants or that would have been a tragedy. But he ended up falling onto the stat card that one of the intruders threw down. When he picked himself up,he grabbed the card as well. The boy looked it over and saw that everything was accurate on the card. It scared him a bit to know that someone knew this much about him... especially being as they were from a different village.

[PASS] Batsu put the card in his pocket and he continued on his little journey. The boy kept walking around the area. This time he ended up on the northernmost part of the grove and he started looking around. There was nothing going on in the area which was fine by him because he didn't want to face off against anyone by himself. He wasn't strong enough for that and he knew it.
[FAIL] Batsu sighed as he was walking away. This was getting boring again. It would most likely be better if he had someone to keep watch with just to have someone to talk to. But he sent Tenshi off to alert someone of the intruders. Oh well. At least he knew that the village was alerted of the threats. That is... as long as Tenshi made it to the village. After all, he did mess around and tripped shortly before departing.
[PASS] Batsu kept walking around in the northern part of the grove and just kept searching for some signs of human life. Nope, still nothing. Well he figured it was time to look elsewhere, so he did just that. Batsu made sure nothing else was here with just another glance over and he went on his way again. He kept touching trees as he passed by for some strange reason as he headed to the east.
[PASS] Batsu kept walking to the east and noticed that the were birds chirping, but they were fairly high-pitched for normal birds. Batsu followed the sound and he somewhat pinpointed the area. When he looked up, he saw a snake slithering up the tree on his way towards a birds nest to where a nest of newly-hatched birds. Batsu grabbed his kunai out of his pocket and threw it at the snake.
[PASS] The kunai soared through the air and just as the snake went to strike, the kunai hit him damn near in the middle of its' body and split the beast in two. The chicks were safe and he went up to the tree to grab the kunai. Just as he did that a majestic eagle came swooping down to the nest. She came to check on her babies but saw what had happened and stood next to the nest and stared down the boy as he stood in awe of her beauty.
[FAIL] The eagle cocked her head to the side as she looked at Batsu curiously. Batsu stood there for a moment and wondered why she was just staring at him. Just out of curiosity, he held his arm up and whistled for a bit. Surprisingly, the bird perched on his wrist and flapped her wings before squawking loudly. Batsu turned his head and looked at the eagle and she just sat there like it was the thin to do.

[FAIL} Batsu shrugged as he looked over at the nest with the still chirping chicks. The eagle ended up flying off of Batsu's shoulder and went to the snake. The bird started eating the dead lizards and flew up to the nest. Before he knew it, the eagle regurgitated the snake and started to feed the chickks. It caused Batsu to wince a bit as he saw this. This wasn't the most pleasant sight that the boy saw in his life.
[PASS] He decided to leave the bird to feed her youngings and went back to doing his rounds. He hit up the east side of the grove and scanned the area. He saw nothing and was happy about it. Now all he had to do was go to the west end and then he could head on home. With that, Batsu jumped up into the trees and headed for the last section of the grove to check out.

TADѳɗɢє βѳɳus: 13❆ ╚════════╝ ❆Tenshi ran back from the academy without Bumu. Hopefully the remaining ninja in the library would be easy enough to handle without her. He was thinking along the way about what she said. Her job was to protect the students. If they were deemed safe, would she still remain? He supposed she would. If too many people went to help, it could ensue chaos amongst the Kiri ninja and leave other places vulnerable to attack. He felt ashamed. Why didn't I think of that? Damn it, I just wasted valuable time searching for someone who couldn't help even if she wanted to... I'll have to make up for lost time.
He passed the creek that he had made a mental note of. He sighed wishing he could return there to peacefully train, but hi job was far from over. If there was one positive to look for in this, it was that Tenshi could prove himself in the fight that would transpire. he did look forward to that. However, he was not looking forward to the buff kid. Maybe Masaraku would handle him... she had a knack for taking those bigger than her and she would enjoy the challenge.
He passed more and more trees till he came to the spot where the running began. He stopped to take a short breather. His running wasn't even over yet. He stood up straight and looked around for Batsu. "Batsu! I got new orders from Bumu-sensei!" He checked to make sure his wakizashi was free in its scabbard, so he could pull it out when needed.

[FAIL] Batsu climbed up a tree and immediately started hopping from tree branch to tree branch as he headed for the final section of the grove. Thanks to his speed and dexterity, Batsu was there in no time. He started looking around until something else caught his attention. He heard the voice of Tenshi and he was thrown off. But before he could head over to his fellow ninja, Batsu had to make sure the area was safe.

Batsu looked around the area of the grove and found no sign of intrusion. It meant that the grove was safe and now he could head over to Tenshi. Batsu turned and jumped from tree to tree and ran towards the boy. After a while, Batsu approached Tenshi from behind and jumped down to the tree. He landed safely on the ground and spoke. "What is wrong Tenshi? Is the village okay?"

She said to get you and your team, heal Byakuran and go after them ourselves." It sounded kind of harsh, but what esle could he do, let them get away? She was meant to save her students, as was her role. 'We should get moving and get some payback..."

Batsu grabbed his bow and broke out into a run. "Hurry up Tenshi before it's too late!" ... and with that Batsu was gone.
