Ky shook his head. "I really don't know," Ky said. "But... Little Guy, can you fetch me the map in my back pack?" Little Guy hopped behind Ky's head, unzipped the zipper and pulled the map out with his beak. Ky reached around, grabbing it, then handing it to Crenu. "It might be on there," Ky said. Little Guy then zipped the backpack back up. Ky was wondering whether he should fight trainers on the way there, knowing that a trip back to Violet City would just be a waste of time now. Ky did remember though that he had a few Potions in stock just in case. 'Those were expensive though,' Ky thought.

As the boy pulled away from her, Flannery gasped a little, looking as though he had sucked the very breath from her throat. For what seemed like an eternity, even though it was only a few mere seconds, she stared at him, holding a hand to her chest where she'd felt his heart beating against hers. "Mike..." she mumbled, her voice barely a whisper. A warm flame seemed to have ignited in her chest. Never before had she felt such a feeling, and it was wonderful. No, it was absolute bliss.
At that moment, her shocked stare melted into a warm, genuine smile and she reached out to him with both arms, pulling him close to her. Clumsily, her lips found his, and she eagerly returned his kiss. Knowing exactly what he'd meant to say with his actions, she drew her head back slowly, and smiled at him. "I love you too."

"Don't worry about losing to other trainers that we may encounter. Worse comes to worse, you can always throw in the towel or refuse to fight. No shame in it really, your pokemon's health is more important than any amount of glory." He continued to walk for a while before he smiled. "But a you can't run forever."

Ky smiled. 'It's like he can read my mind,' Ky thought. "Well, seeing that my Pokemon are at full strength, I know I can handle at least two bouts, right guys?" Ky asked in a cheering tone, confidence returning. "Na!" was Little Guy's response along with an equally excited "Weedle!" from Sting. Ky would never run from a fight; just wasn't in him. He did need to learn when to quit though, for his Pokemon's sake.

"I wonder if we'll be able to take down Buggsy. Bugs are known for their poison and stat lowering attacks, so he may prove to be a tougher opponent than I had originaly anticipated. We both are gonna have to come up with some major strategy for this one. Any Ideas?"

He began to feel his arms shaking ever so slightly, his breath being cut short. After a third kiss with his new beloved, Mike stood up, wrapping his towel around him and stepping out of the springs. Before snagging his clean pair of undies from his Pokemon, he looked back at Flannery. "Goodness you're beautiful."
Mike walked into the changing rooms victorious, a chapter of longing and obsession in his life was finally over.

"That sounds great!" Mitsu cheered, "I haven't been to the beach in a while." Sure she had been around the ocean, but Mossdeep wasn't exactly known for it's beaches. The last time she had been to one, she hadn't enjoyed her stay either. Food, Pokemon battles, swimming it all sounded great. The last festival she had been to was the Cherry Blossom Festival, which she remembered quite clearly. They had nearly destroyed half of it in an attempt to save Nightmare. Needless to say this would be something she would look forward to. "Would you mind if I invited a few of my friends?" Mitsu asked Violet after running a few names across the top of her head.
Nightmare had surfaced to come face to face with the blue and orange Swampert. He gave a low roar to acknowlegde his presence before taking a look at the rest of Violet's team. Karri remained undisturbed in her state of meditation. It felt good, she decided, to relax for once. It had been a while since she last meditated. It reminded her for Mike's Breloom, Portabello.
Ebony, who was now skipping about the scene, continued to enjoy the game of cat and mouse. Ticking off the tough Sapphire was great fun. The Houndoom, however, thought otherwise. He gave a short, annoyed bark at the Ghost Pokemon before him attempting to pick up his speed. He gave a low growl as if saying "You're going to pay for waking me up you little moron."

(( Two-on-two battle? x3 ))
"That would be a good idea," Rin said still adoring the Pidgey. "Although I'm sure she's probably really strong as it is." She gave a soft smile as Miharu laughed which soon turned to a small frown as she reverted back to her normal self. The frown faded as quickly as it appeared. Rin opened her mouth to say something, but it seemed rather stupid. Why don't I show you the way to the gym? No. Wait. She probably already say it, Azalea's way too small. I'm such an idiot. "Why don't we get going?" she said instead.

Flannery smiled warmly at the last comment, and allowed herself to fall backwards into the water. Her heart was beating so rapidly she thought that it may burst from her chest. She closed her eyes, and just floated there, allowing the warmth of the water to relax her even further. She decided to stay a bit longer, a smile and an occasional giggle could be heard from the redheaded gym leader.

Stepping out of the dressing room, Mike appeared ready for sleep with his pajamas. Like the rest of his apparel they were decorated with all sorts of fire and the like. He recalled Felsic, deciding to leave Portabello outside. "He'd prefer some time alone I'd imagine." Walking over, he picked up Nitro, Xanthos and Beacon's Pokeballs, who were in a tray marked with his name. Taking one last look at his Pokemon, he snapped their restraints onto his strap. "Good job guys, you've won more than a battle for me. I'm grateful..."
Mike walked into the guest room and slipped under the covers. He laid there in thought, almost too tired to sleep. ...Flannery.
While a good distance away, the Breloom smiled. You're welcome master. He thought to no one in particular, the cool wind carrying his words away like a fallen leaf.

"I got an idea," came a laughing voice. A trainer, looking to be even older than Crenu came out from the shadows of a tree. He wore a white, fancy-looking jacket over a yellow shirt, a silver necklace hanging from the collar. His pants were also white, complete with shiny black shoes, looking to be the clothes of some aristocrat. He also wore a pair of sunglasses with a yellow tint matching his blonde hair, as well as a condecending smirk.
"I'd say that a good strategy for that little twerp there would be to fight me," he began. "That way he can understand that he'll need bigger Pokemon than that if he's going to avoid embarassing himself in front of a gym leader, let alone anyone else." He then proceeded to bend over, changing his voice, mimicking that of a parent talking to a 6-year-old. "So how about it shrimp? Ready to feel what it's like to really battle, to lose?"
Ky could feel his blood boiling. 'How could this guy talk down to me like that, in front of Crenu?' Ky steamed in his own head. If anything Ky could not stand the sound of underestimation, a fool's practice. 'This guy has no clue what Little Guy and Sting are capable of!' Slowly, Ky let the anger die down, a grin forming under his shaded eyes. "You messed with the wrong kid, buddy," Ky giggled. With that, his gaze met the other trainer's eyes. "Your move!" Ky shouted, watching as the trainer stepped back from the intimidation.
"You..y...you asked for it kid!" the trainer stuttered, eventually regaining his composure. "I'll go easy on you first; I have a small Pokemon of my own, but soon it'll grow. It just needs to practice on weaklings like you. Pichu! I choose you!" he called as he threw the Pokeball, the small electric rodent appearing on the field, looking very serious and focused.
Ky was glad that the trainer had sent out his Pokemon first. He knew that Little Guy would be hurt much more from his electric attacks than Sting would. The choice was obvious. "Sting! Get out there! Show him that you're stronger!" Sting jumped from his trainer's shoulder, looking at the Pichu with sharp, beady eyes. The Pichu had sparks pouring from its cheeks, but Sting didn't find it that intimidating. Pichu wasn't any bigger than him, and he knew that it would be much easier to dodge its attacks because of it.
"Pichu, Thundershock!" the trainer yelled.
"Sting, use Poison Sting!" Ky countered. As Pichu charged up it's attack, Weedle flew through the air, it's barb shining, leaking with poison. The battle had commenced.

"Of course you could invite other's. The more the merrier, just make sure that they are trainers all right?" She said with a smile on her face. Placing her hands on her hips she looked around the area with a grin on her face. "Is there anything I can do for you lovely ladies while I am here?" She asked, after all it wasn't everyday that she was in Hoenn, though it seemed to be happening more often lately.
Puddles upon seeing the large Gyrados in front of him caused him to pause for a moment. Shrugging it off he decided to play in the mud some more and started digging down into happily making tunnels under the lake and the walk way. ((Sorry about the crummy post dont really feel that into it right now...))

Sting's attack struck true right as Pichu released its Thundershock. Unfortunately, the jolt that Sting received shot through it's venom glands, closing them for an instant, not allowing the poison to get through. Sting sprung backwards, ready for another strike. Ky saw this. "Again, Poison Sting!"
"Pichu! Another Thundershock!" the trainer yelled.
This time when Sting attacked, the Thundershock had hit him before he reached his target. Overall, the sting did as much damage as before, but his glands were not operating correctly due to the high voltage. Sting became frustrated, realizing his attacks were only going to get slower as fatigue began to set in. The shock was doing quite a number on his body and he new that he had to somehow get the poison into it.
Ky noticed Sting's fatigue as well, knowing that he was going to need to slow Pichu's attack somehow. "Sting, use your String Shot! Aim for its cheeks!" Ky hoped that the silk would have low conductivity, slowing down the electrical process.
Sting couldn't have done any better, having skillfully split the silk into two streams, each forming a thick sticky paste covering the red spots on the Pichu's face.
"Pi!" Pichu squeaked, trying to remove the gluey substance, only managing to get its paws covered as well. The trainer had a concerned look in his eye, watching his Pokemon struggle. "Pichu! Tail Whip, now!" The Pichu, having not lost its agility, dashed at Sting, smacking his head with its lashing tail.
Sting was not damaged by the attack, but the force of the blow knocked him off balance. "Sting, jab him with another Poison Sting," Ky ordered. This time, with Pichu so close, Sting made sure to hit true and keep his glands firing.
The Pichu could not move out of the way, the needle on Sting's head injecting the venom into Pichu's shoulder. Pichu looked back at its trainer, caressing its arm. The trainer just nodded, smiling a now reassuring and confident smile. "Enough play time. This is going to end now," he said.
Ky tried to gather his meaning but just shrugged. "This battle isn't over; it's barely beg..." Before Ky could finish, the Pichu pounced at an alarming speed, a full-on attack that hit Sting solidly. Sting then flew through the air where his back hit the trunk of the tree, the sound of the impact almost sickening to hear. Sting got back up very slowly, shaking and sidestepping, seeming to have lost all of his balance. "Sting!" Ky shouted, hoping to get Sting back in tune with the battle. His voice had no effect.

Ky was shocked, unable to think straight. "What... that atta..."
"Headbutt," the trainer interrupted, smiling as he walked up to the Pichu. "Ya see shrimp, Pichu here is still small, and I know he'll grow but... if I'm going to have him train, I might as well give him an attack that isn't so weak as his others. So, I bought him a TM, Headbutt, a much more powerful move capable of knocking your opponent senseless, which looking over at your precious 'Sting,' it seems he has been knocked that direction. Now, having explained that to you, it's time to finish this. Pichu, Headbutt."
The Pichu squeaked a little, the poison starting to work its way through its system. Painfully, it got into another pouncing position, gathering all of its energy into its legs. "Go," the trainer said, laughing as Pichu flew through the air at rocket speed towards Sting, another crushing sound being made as it connected.
"No!" Ky yelled. He could again feel the pain of helplessness, of failure as Pichu launched its attack. 'I... I can't lose.... not to him,' Ky thought, tears starting to form in his eyes. 'He... doesn't deserve it.' Ky clenched his fists, looking down.
"Look Ky!" he heard Crenu shout at the top of his lungs. "Sting's evolving!"
"What?!" Ky said, looking up towards the tree. Ky's heart lifted when he saw the scene. On the ground lie the Pichu, rubbing its head, squeaking in pain. Towering over it (twice Pichu's height) stood Sting, now a Kakuna, his shell shining with density. "Sting? Is that really you?" Sting let out a grumble sounding somewhat like "Kakuuu." Ky smiled, the tear falling down his face. He now had the upper hand. "Sting, Harden!" Ky yelled.
The Pichu attacked a couple more times with Headbutt, Ky countering by telling Sting to Harden each time. The Pichu looked up at its trainer, tears in its eyes as it rubbed his head in agony. The poison was also doing its damage. The trainer frowned, knowing he had lost the endurance game, and returned his Pichu. "Nice try," he seemed to mutter, an upset look on his face.
Ky returned Sting as well, relieved that the tide had come to save him.

"You were lucky shrimp. You really were," the other trainer grumbled, clicking the Pichu's ball to his belt. He then picked another ball off his belt, shoving it forward to show Ky. This ball was not a normal colored Pokeball. This one was blue on the top with red fins. Ky could guess by the angry look on the trainer's face that he meant business. "You are going to pay!" he yelled. "Heracross! I choose you!" throwing the ball into the middle of the field.
Ky watched as a huge bug-type Pokemon came out, a blue heavily-armored bug with a long dangerous horn coming out of its upper jaw. "Heracross!" it growled, getting into an attack stance. Ky gulped, this being the largest Pokemon he had seen in real life. It stood up to the bottom of Ky's neck, dwarfing Little Guy easily. It smashed its claws menacingly, waiting for the fight to begin.
"Ya see shrimp, I may be at a disadvantage to your little Natu by type, but if you're going to fight Bugsy, you'll learn that it won't matter at all. When I finish you here, I recommend you rethink your life, cause I'm going to crush your dreams," the trainer said, meaning every word of it. Ky realized he was now fighting a different trainer than before, no less threatening, but much more respecting.
Ky smiled and got into the same position he did when he started off against Crenu. "Hit him fast and hard and everything will be all right," he whispered to Little Guy who was staring in awe at his huge opponent. Little Guy, gathering up the courage, finally nodded, signaling he was ready for the launch. Ky nodded as well. "Little Guy, PECK!!" Ky screamed as he dove, this time catching himself so as not to eat dirt. Little Guy darted towards the Heracross's head, his beak ready to crack the shell of the bug-Pokemon.
