Luna Lovegood - Ravenclaw

"Wow," she says as she sits in a corner eating sandwiches "there are so many new faces in here! Perhaps Bresais Elf should kindly welcome them?" She stands up and tries to get everyone's attention but to no avail. The kitchens were after all extremely busy. "What to do, what to do. Ah!" Bresais Elf tries to climb atop a pile of pots and pans. But all of a sudden a loud BANG erupts in the kitchens and Bresais elf is covered in a pile of filth. She looks around quietly, looking and feeling quite embarassed. "Well, I wonder who left this big pile of filthy dishes here! Heh.... anyways... ahem..." she clears her throat and then continues... "Welcome new house elves!! Bresais Elf at your service!" she says as she bows at the entire kitchen. Sweat pouring down her brow, she quickly starts to clean up the mess.

((OOC: Actually, someone came up with it before me-- I think in reference to Greg Proops. I was just using it before you were. Can't really take credit this time))
Anneko notices the house colour cakes and tries to do something similar with the eggs-- green onion for Slytherin, diced tomato for Gryffindor, and cheese for Hufflepuff, but there isn't really a good blue food you can put into eggs. *sigh*
=^__^= Anneko

You could make blueberry pancakes for the Ravenclaws. And if we're making house pancakes, we could make strawberry or raspberry for the Gryffindors, peach for the Hufflepuffs, and... Er... I don't know what to put in the Slytherins' pancakes! redface

~Alisha overhears the idea of pancakes and decides to step in.~
Hmm Actually. . .Pancakes might not be the greatest idea for the different houses. Maye instead we should make pie instead. You can still use the ideas of rasberry and stuff and then for Slytherin make green Apple. ^.^

Erin was still busy with her buttering campaign when the boy suddenly said an incantation and the knives started buttering the bread all on their own. Slightly disappointed that her task had now been taken away from her, Erin went to one of the cupboards to get some plates and plucked the buttered toast out of the air, plopping them onto the plates. She watched in amusement as a fellow elf climbed to the top of a big pile of dishes to make an announcement and tumbled to the floor.
There was a bit of a discussion about breakfast pancakes and house colours and because she absolutely loved colour, Erin decided to voice her opinion as well.
"I don't think pie is breakfast food. I like the idea of colour coded pancakes, though. Why not make green apple pancakes? I am sure it would taste lovely with cinnamon."

"In that case maybe you should do Ice Cream!"
*Bresais Elf snaps her fingers and four huge tubs of Ice Cream appear. Yellow Cake flavor for Hufflepuff, Raspberry for Gryffindor, Blue Cotton Candy for Ravenclaw, and Mint Chocolate for Slytherin.*

Dazereth smiled to Erin. "Im sorry. Did I umm..Do something wrong?" He furrowed his brow in apprehension. The young wizard was concerned. She was the one he was really trying to impress after all.
With a smile he regarded the elf thinking of ice cream. He piped up "Yeah, that work perfectly, actually. Except, this is breakfast." He managed to dash his own hopes that time. With a sigh he plopped down on a stool, weary.

::Liam elf walked slowly into the kitchens dragging his feet a little. He had been lost in Hogwarts for three days and could not find his way back. Every time he thought he was going to be near to the entrance hall, the staircases would change and he would end up in a different corridor from the one he was looking for. Wearily he walked over to the large sitting area near the fire and summoned himself a pint of butterbeer to help send the life back into his limbs.::
There is just too much to do to be this tired ::He thought to himself::
"I say, could anyone tell me what it is we will be preparing next?"

Daz cast a sidelong glance at the new elf. "We are making breakfast!" He laughed noticing the weary look on his face. "Come come..We can always use an extra pair of hands" He smiled and went back to his work, flipping the pancakes manually. He always preferred to cook by hand than by magic.

"Oh, good. Breakfast is Liam-elf's favorite meal of the day. Many things I could make for the students. Hmm.. Lets see, how about a quiche? Yes. That would be a great part of the meal, 1/2 a dozen ham and cheese, 1/2 a dozen three meat, and another dozen vegetarians. Oh this is going to require many eggs."
::With a snap of his finger Liam summoned 4 dozen eggs and a whole mess of other ingredients.::

Daz merely shrugged and went about making the food. He decided he should make crepes as well. He had blueberry, raspberry and strawberries. He went about the task of pouring the paper thin pancakes.
Once one was finished he would roll the fruit inside, sprinkle some powdered sugar and top it with a chocolate syrup garnish zig-zagging across the rolled food. It looked absolutely delectable. With a smile he went about making the rest.

::Liam noticed Daz's use of breakfast pastries, and thought for a second.::
"You know, you already have two why not go for the third and make waffles? Then you have a whole slurry of international delicacies."
