Lacuna calmed herself as much as she could, half drained. She smiled weakly at Jakkin and bowed her head.
"I'm sorry..", she said.

Jak put a finger under her chin, lifting it gently to meet her eyes, as his other hand caressed her silky hair. "You have nothing to be sorry for beautiful."

Lacuna smiled and kissed his eyelids, then his cheeks, his neck, and then his lips. She smirked and pointed to the martini's that had been ordered, pushing her hair froom out of her face.

Jak obediently picked up the drinks, handing her one as he gestured toward the corner couch. "Lead the way beautiful."

Lacuna nodded, walking over to the couch and sitting at one end of it with her martini in hand.

Liam pushed the door to the Star open and peered in. It was rather empty, and he sighed in slight relief. He made his way tot he counter, his hair covering most of his face as he averted his gaze, his hands stuffed in his pockets as par usual as he slumped into a booth in the corner near the bar.

Suru slipped into the Star and lingered near the door. His eyes immediately caught Laci and Jak, and he felt a sharp twist in his chest. He sighed, roughly and made his way to the bar, quietly, making sure he's unnoticed by the couple. He slipped behind and dug around, pulling out a bottle of Irish whiskey and a shot glass, knocking back two, quickly, one right after the other.

Liam watched Suru make his way through the bar, discreetly. He also watched as the boy downed one shot after another. He frowned softly and slipped from the booth he sat at, making his way shyly to the other.
That's probably not the best idea so early in the day, you know... he joked, hoping there wasn't anything seriously wrong with Suru.

After going back to the manor to shower and change into clean clothes, Saber made his way to the Fallen Star. He itched to do something, to get a few bad thoughts off his mind, so he needed a drink. Saber strolled inside, keeping to the side as he got up to the bar and ordered a few shots of whatever, sitting at the very end so he wouldn't be noticed. He decided to then close his ears to the noises around him and concentrait on his thoughts.

Suru looked up, seeming a little dazed, and tried to focus through the dim and whiskey. Finally, he recognized the boy in front of him, and smiled, lazily, already starting to buzz from his two shots and small-ish body. "It's after noon, I have every right." He tilted his head back towards the shelves lightly, drawling, "Can I getcha something, gorgeous?"

Liam frowned and shook his head, glancing to Saber, who he didn't recognize. No...he said softly, sighing as he looked back to Suru. So...how did things go after I left? Did you find who you were looking for? he asked, voice soft, rather like a whisper.

"No, no, no, no, no, no. I can''t drink by myself." He grinned and turned to the shelves, searching. He stiffened when Liam mentioned, 'who he was looking for'. He sighed lightly, then brightened again, shaking his head, "No, but she found someone else and so did he. They found eachother. So I guess it's all okay." He pulled a bottle of white wine off the dshelf and poured a glass, sliding it across to Liam.

Saber sipped at his drink, taking his time on the first. He never got drunk, or so he thought. Drinking wasn't a sport to him...just something he did every now and then. Sometimes it helped him think as he was hoping it'd do now. "Ok," he muttered, "How can I make this work? Or better yet, how can I keep it working? No fighting... Just to know her family better?" He took another small sip. "If he swings, I'm swinging back..."

**booooo on jumpercables! -shakes fist-**
Liam sighed and accepted the wine, turning it into white grapejuice, which looked the same. He nodded softly to Suru's words and sipped the juice as if it were still wine. And what will you do, if you don't mind me asking? he inquired, feeling a strong wave of concern for the boy he barely knew.
