Hello all, as you might have guessed I'm new around here. I was sent an invitation from Kevrandrus. As you can see, my name is Iratus Mancipium but for the sake of saving you the time and effort of typing out my entire name, just call me Ira. Now, I've just finished reading all announcements and stickies within the main forum so to be sure that any questions I might have, seeing as I'm not too familiar with rping in a setting that is or closely resembles the world of Naruto, would or could be answered. Yet still I find myself with a question. If my questions as already been asked an or answered, please bare with me as I probably missed it. In regards of: Rule 28 You can not create made ups involving SEALS, demons, orochi powers, weapons, armors, or items you do not have at the time. could you could go into a little more detail with this? Did you mean, I can not create a character that shortly after being born, had a demon sealed within them? If that is the case, I will have to rethink every aspect of my character. I just wanted to get this cleared up before I even started getting a character profile filled out. Thank you for your time.

In words, you have to earn your way in this guild to obtain a Demon, Orochi, Curse Mark, Weapons, Armors, Items.
If you want a demon, Kill a host with one in them,
If you want a Orochi, Wait till your stronger to get it, The person RPing as the Orochi master will fight you at full force and kill if needed.
Same goes for everything else, Just got to read the Aspects of the special Ninja Addition, Go in there and look under Specila Abilitys.

That being said, it depends on just what you mean by 'demon'. If you are referring to the various Bijuu-class Demons, yes, those are all handled by the mods, as far as being given out. Most are already taken, though there might be one or two that are free yet. (Getting one is quite the feat, beginners to the guild wouldn't be eligible right off the back.)
However, if you just want to be possessed by a demon, like something from hell or whatever, you could do that. It wouldn't be as strong as the Bijuu, nor would you truly gain anything extra, but you could use made-up techniques to turn it into a powerful aspect of your character in that sense.

Oh, ok....then perhaps this could work. You see the demon I had in mind really isn't all that powerful if you think about it and it wasn't going to give her any great amount of strength either.
You see what I had in mind, was that while in the womb her mother was possessed. Such possession caused her to go into premature labor. My characters mother gave birth but did not survive the process. When my character was born she looked like nothing more than a black mass but after it managed to assimilate the child took on her true features. There really are no special features other than her eyes. They are entirely black. My character is blind but is able to see through the demons eyes. Hopefully that made some sense.
Hopefully this character concept is acceptable.

Sounds pretty awesome!
One clan you might want to look into maybe is the Half-Demons in Feudal Japan, the village is in the World Hidden in Fantasy subforum =D
You could use the 'demon power' learned tech to give you abit of the demon's power that way ^^

I'd say look through some of the techniques in other Villages that let you accomodate loss of eyesight; if seeing through the demon's eyes isnt a constant. If you learn the chakra aura [I think thats the one] in Hidden Moon; that one lets you feel our your surroundings within 10 feet or so; basically a sonar of sorts if I'm recalling it correctly Edit: found it Quote: Second Sight 400 Skill Points: Is the process of cutting off the vision and increasing the other senses exponentially. This technique isn’t limited only to the blind, but almost anyone can learn it. [t] Chakra Aura Lvl 1 500 Skill Points: By relaxing the users tenketsu, they can allow a very little amount of chakra to slowly seep out as it fills an invisible bubble with a range of 5-10 feet. The user is always the center of the bubble so where he/she goes, the bubble range follows. It is invisble to the naked eye but not to Doujutsu and third eye style techniques. Using this technique allows the user to “SEE” using his/her chakra and allows them preemptively dodge and attack their opponent. For non branch family users: If Chakra Aura is not deactivated in 10 posts (+ 2 post downtime) , the user runs out of chakra due to lack of focus and training in the skill. No matter what Rank you are. Branch Family members are NOT affected by this side effect. Slightly enhances: reflexes and speed. (x1.5) Slightly Enhances: Nakagawa Style, Gentle Fist, Iron Fist, Drunken Fist, Monkey Kung Fu, and Crane Style attacks (MUST know Second Sight, do not have to use Second Sight in conjunction)

Hmm, sounds interesting. You'd probably have to use your starting made-up to cover all the details, including anything special you gain as a result, but it would probably be okay. (I did something very similar for my character Hedoro. Her mother had attempted a forbidden jutsu, an improved version of a water body technique. The technique went wrong, turning her to inert water, obviously killing her. Her unborn child, Hedoro, was affected as well, but didn't die, instead going on to live, as a being of chakra saturated protoplasm. And now she's one of the most feared monsters in the guild. Think 'The Blob' meets shapeshifters, with a hint of Resident Evil for taste.)

Yup. Just keep in mind she eats entire villages, so if she's hungry, get away. She is also the Jinchuuriki for the Sanbi. (She ate it, too.)

I have a few more questions. Sorry if I'm being a bother.
I decided to take Kervandrus suggestion on looking at the clan Half-Demon. So I'm guessing when I fill in the part that says village I would put Feudal Japan right?
Also I remember seeing in the profile section that if we pick a something other than Sand, Leaf, or Cloud we get 1,500 chakra points to spend...so could I use that toward my starting technique?
Also, how can we determine the chakra points of the starter techniques and the one we make up?
I just want to be sure I get this right. It's why I've been taking so long putting up my profile.

You do put Feudal Japan as the village
You can you the extra chakra towards your starter technique
You can pick anything within Feudal Japan within 2300 Skill points or a couple techs.
You determine the chakra for the made up on your own depending on how strong you feel it is. If the mod thinks it should be lower of higher he'll tell you.
