Why is a weird number like 17 the max score?

What's a perfect score and I hope the pm had more detail then that because... with the rules being as minimal as they are...writing numbers seems...odd.

Naw...20 is the soft cap.
Four scores with a max of 5, and one "WOW Factor" that can be applied as extra?
Middle judge gave him a 5, and three 4's.

It's pretty much just set up like this: Character Uno True to Character: 1-5 Clarity: 1-5 Entertainment: 1-5 Domination: 1-5 Winner: Extra WOW Factor: Extra TOTAL: 4-??? Charcater Dos True to Character: 1-5 Clarity: 1-5 Entertainment: 1-5 Domination: 1-5 Winner: Extra WOW Factor: Extra TOTAL: 4-??? A paragraph about the fight, including a few choice praises/complaints.

ImNoHero Check the guild announcements, I posted the rubric before the first round. I would like to see my judgement. Also I would suggest you just auto send it to everyone since there is no reason not to if you already did them. Edit: went through all the guild announcements... not one mention the rubric.

17 points for that round was a bit too much.

I mean I still think he should advance to the next round, but I feel he got too high a score for the performance he had.

Could have sworn.....Well anyway, here it is: ImNoHero The fight results will be graded as follows: (Any one player may obtain up to 23 points when being graded from a fight. Regardless of if a player won IC or not, these points will be the deciding factor in whom advances. Though winning does boost the chances of proceeding, especially if they tie scores with their opponent. in all other sections of the grading.) True to Character (One to Five Points) Was the player true to their character? Did they do anything that didn't fit or did they make this too personal with OOC drama. Did they make it a 'no u' kind of match? Did they use anything outside of their profile? Clarity (One to Five Points) Was the writer clear in their actions? Were the actions in the post sound and very seemingly possible? Did this player ramble too much off subject, did they clutter their post with so much irrelevant information on their character that it did not fit a purpose of action executed in said post?Entertainment (One to Five Points) Did this person make the fight interesting both to IC and OOC? Was it a fun experience for both players and did they contribute to a good read as a whole?Domination (One to Five Points) Who 'controlled' this fight? Who maintained the upper-hand in this fight? Who maintained the pace? Winner (Winner gets an automatic addition of one points) This one is simple, Did they win the fight IC.WOW! Factor (An extra point available to those that absolutely wow you as a judge.) Did this person do something amazing, something so spectacular, or were they just so awesome as a whole that you just had to give them an A for effort, win or lose?

Seems like it doesn't matter...
That said, any issue I have with the grades is moot.

Welp, I've used my one guild announcement, but a Suprise announcement tucked on the subforum page about REDEMPTION!!!
Other than this I'm out. And no I probably won't back read the OOC as I haven't thus far. So if you need me, message me. If you are on my friendslist and see my latest status update, please add/re-add me on skype, had to make a new one so I lost my contacts.
Peace.

ImNoHero True to Character (One to Five Points) Was the player true to their character? Did they do anything that didn't fit or did they make this too personal with OOC drama. Did they make it a 'no u' kind of match? Did they use anything outside of their profile? You can't really judge this in my opinion. Nor should you try unless the person is using an iconic premade character from a well established series like DBZ or something. Otherwise, you have no way of knowing what is true to the character over his creator. ImNoHero Entertainment (One to Five Points) Did this person make the fight interesting both to IC and OOC? Was it a fun experience for both players and did they contribute to a good read as a whole?Winner (Winner gets an automatic addition of one points) This one is simple, Did they win the fight IC.WOW! Factor (An extra point available to those that absolutely wow you as a judge.) Did this person do something amazing, something so spectacular, or were they just so awesome as a whole that you just had to give them an A for effort, win or lose? These seem redundant. They technically all fall under the same category so essentially you are giving someone a huge point boost for being favorable....which arguably is what all rubrics do anyway on Gaia but yeah...no point in having three categories doing the same thing. Just a suggestion for future CoCs.
