Jason laughed, "well, then your safety would be garunteed since there is no way parents willing to break into someone's house would let their son be in danger." he ignored the mention of the cop and drove them towards his house. thankfully it wasn't too far away. "does the fact they haven't broken into my house mean i am trusted or just that they did it when i wasn't there?"

"I'm not patching him up if he falls," Jason said as he pulled into his driveway, "but at least he didn't break into my house." he got out of the car and smiled, "hello, Andy. it's been a while, thank you for getting Tim's meds. where did you find them?"

Jason never knew how much of what Andy said was actual truth, and he was good at reading people. he slipped an arm around Tim's shoulders, "thank you again, Andy. i'll have to buy you a drink next time, unfortunately i threatened Tim with a night of movies and cuddling. i'm worried that if i don't start right away, he might try and run." he smiled and kissed Tim's cheek, "thank you again." he gave Andy a little wave before walking into the house, still holding Tim close. "alright, what do you want to watch first?"

Jason had told Tim over and over he was free to whatever he wanted, but Tim always asked first. "of course, take whatever you need." he kissed Tim's cheek before going to his movie stand and looking over what he had. there was a trick to making Tim pick. he selected six and Tim took away two, then he took away two and Tim made the final decision. "alright, do you want The Hobbit, Return to Me, Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock Holmes 2, Star Trek or Star Trek 2? take two out."

Jason joined Tim in the kitchen, carrying The Hobbit and Return to Me, "pick one." he handed the movies to Tim with a kiss to his cheek. "how about some soda and popcorn? no beer, doesn't mix well with your meds." he pulled out some packaged popcorn and handed it over to Tim, "will you pop that? what kind of soda do you want?"

Jason shook his head, "I picked dinner, thank you very much." he got out two sprites and shut the fridge, but Tim's hug stilled him. he smiled and adjusted the cans of sprite so he could hold them with one hand before covering Tim's hand with his free one, "not really. i'm no better than anyone else." he lifted Tim's hand to his lips and gently kissed it, "but you can keep thinking that if you want."

Jason laughed, "i look forward to it." He and Tim spent the rest of the night watching movies and cuddling on the couch, as promised. that night they made love once more, this time Jason took his time and focused on every part of Tim one inch at a time. he was a bit of a vacation that week, meaning he wasn't working eight to sixteen hours a day and was able to spend his free time with Tim. it was one of the best weeks of their relationship, in his opinion, but every once in a while he could still see guilt in Tim's eyes. That Friday he had to work a double, covering for one of his coworkers who's pregnant wife had gotten ill. he was sad their little week was over, but he was sure they would have more of them in the future.

Daren spent the week locked up in his apartment. the only time he came out was when Anna and Tarte came to visit or some of the kids came to ask him to play. other than that, just stayed inside. he considered not going back to work, he could live easily without working and had only ever done it to help people, but what good could someone like him be? he did more harm than help, so why bother? his legs and feet became covered with more and more strips, marks easily hidden by a pair of socks. wasn't it for the best that he just stay here? he would only force his presence on others when they pressed him, but if he stayed out of the way, the world would be a better place, wouldn't it?
