Jillian was excited . She would finally be able to see what Renia was capable of. Aside from Renia being a scythe Jillian knew nothing of her own abilities. Jillian excused herself and left Renia alone momentarily. When Jillian returned, she wore a new outfit. The clothing she wore was her typical outfit for missions. " Well Renia here we are. I hope you're ready to sweat because I'm going to put you to work.I think it is important that I learn to wield you efficiently. But first I think the best way for us to learn about each other's abilities, strengths, and weakness is through battle. Mood: Cold feeling Ren swallows hard, slowly shedding her torn jacket. She starts to chew on her bottom lip, a bit nervous when she said one on one. Something her parents didn't go over much. "Yes of course but.. Ive never really done hand to hand combat - which is my weakest point." Renia laughs nervously, looking around. Quickly fixing her hair, she turns her attention to her partner.

As he heard her next question, Asakuras smile grew. "we're working on your flames...so elemental. Im only going to use ice, so lets start"he said, taking his position across from Annie. --------------------------------------- Annie grinned. " Took the words right outta' my mouth. " Star nodded at his command, and planned to not be holding back anyways. After all, this was a fight. It was one of the only things Annie enjoyed as a kid. But it seemed different somehow.....she shook her head, and her hair bursted into flame. That memory...began replaying. Annie inhaled through her mouth, and a large, bursting firey laser was aimed at Asakura. ----------------------------------------

Smiling, he held his hand up. "ice age"he muttered, a thick wall of ice burstimng up in front of him. As the laser collided with the wall, the weapon tilted his head and uses the time to sidestep the blast once the wall shattered. The katanas head snapped back as Annies fist made contact, sending him stumbling back. "quite a punch youve got Annie...but you'll need to hit harder"he said, lowering his head to reveal cracked ice covering where she had struck. There was a little blood mixed with the frozen water, but Asakura seemed unfazed. The blood wasn't real, but a trick created by manipulating the light that struck the ice. Below the ice, was a real burn from where she had punched him, the stinging of the burn calmed by the ice. partner: Annie 'Fire Star'feeling: thinking: soul wavelength: stable...those who resemble us find their way our hearts are not the same, but if your heart and mine are as one inevitably, we will come together

--------------------------------------- Annie tightened her grip around her fists, her fire becoming more alive and heated. But as soon as she saw blood, she froze. Immediately, all of her firey attitude disappeared. What the hell? Oh. c'mon! This is only just a little practice fight! Of course there is going to be a bit of blood! Stop standing around and attack him! Annie shook her head, and lit up in flame once again. This doesn't even feel right, though...I know its just practice but...hurting him, its...he is asking for this! He knows its the only way for you to get stronger! But he shouldn't have to be a test subject to my power! What good am I, anyway? Your perfectly good! Just listen to what he instructs! Annie began to feel annoyed. Fighting with herself like that? Perfectly lame, in her opinion. She had welled up enough power already. Star closed her eyes, and reopened them. Stepping backwards, a much more fire orange appeared. Annie held both of her arms up in the sky, and a small fire ball slowly started to grow. ----------------------------------------

Had he gone too far bybcreating the false blood? No...she needed to get used to seeing him hurt. He smiled as he saw the fireball forming and crouched low. "this is gonna hurt...but...its to make her stronger"he muttered, lunging at Annie. "your ability takes too long to charge! Distract your opponent before using this"he said, a wall of ice moving quickly to encase Annies hands. --------------------------------------- Annie jumped for a second. Should have expected that him. She looked down at her hands. Oh my god this is sooo collddd. If I can't even summon fire in rain, how does he expect me to summon fire when my hands are....hehehehehehe..... Annie grew a mischievous grin on her face. Her body lit aflame, but of course that wouldn't make the ice go away. She couldn't summon her little flame ball, but she could use this to her advantage. Star charged, jumped and aimed a head slam at him - with the ice still on her hands. ----------------------------------------

His arms were cracked where he had been struck when he had tried to block, ice crackling and falling off him. mixed with the ice was blood, an a lot of it. the red liquid dripped from between the cracks in his ice, but Asa held his composure. Mood: Cold feeling Renia shifts awkwardly from foot to foot. A small conversation catching her interest. A tournament? She looks to her meister - figuring her to be the type to enter one. "Hey Jillian? Did you enter that tournament? If you did we can head there right now.. It just started. I want to cheer my meister on!" Renia smiles excitedly at the thought of being able to see her partner kick some butt. It being clear she wants to see how Jillian fights.
