OOC: ******** aardvarks. Well, here goes a post. Hopefully it is quality, cause GOD KNOWS I DON'T WANT TO POST SOMETHING SUBPAR!

IC: "Professor?," a curious Beast asked as he knocked on the Professor's chamber door. "There's a call on line one for you...it's Katherine, and it sounds urgent."

"Thank you, Hank," Xavier said as he picked up the phone and punched a button before hearing the line chirp up. "Kitty?"

"Um...Yea. Professor?," Kitty said with no amount of uncertainty in her voice, "I...honestly don't know if it's my place to say this, but...umm....there was, like, these four mutant weirdos that just assaulted Jacen and disappeared with him..."

Xavier's brow furrowed and he held his fingers to the bridge of his nose. Xavier never had Scion as a student, he only knew him as one of his greatest adversaries' apprentices. But, for whatever reason, Xavier folded on this. "Katherine, I will call you back in a half hour, I will see what I can do."

"Thanks Professor." Then the line went dead.

Ten minutes had passed, and Xavier was in the basement level, already hooking up to Cerebro. In an instant, he would be psychically linked to every mutant on the face of the planet. Obviously the most effective way to find a solitary mutant that had been abducted. But, unfortunately, Xavier could not find a trace of the young man anywhere. He saw an image of where the others were; Storm tending her garden, McCoy toiling away endlessly in his lab, his students on their vacation. For a second, he sighed. He didn't want to tear the kids away from their well deserved rest, but he knew he couldn't very well find Jacen on his own.

"Students," Xavier said telepathically to his students through his mind-amplifying machine, " I'm sorry to cut everyone's trip so short, but I need any and all students and teachers back to the Institute immediately." Again, with a sigh, Xavier pulled the helmet off of his head, set it on the console, and wheeled out towards the nearest elevator. He hoped that he wasn't going to have to regret the decision to help Jacen.

"********." Jamie swore under his breath, but then took a sigh of relief as he let go of the control he had on the light. The stars dissapeared and the clouds reappeared instantly. He didn't care any more about who saw it. They were leaving, so no one would care. He grabbed his stuff and went back downstairs, waiting around.

Jamie saw Penny standing there for a moment, and he walked over to her. "You okay? I saw you drop. . . Was that because of Xavier?" He asked her, an obvious note of concern in his voice.

Penny sat on a beach chair waiting around for everybody and everything. Her foot tapped the ground in a nervous movement. Jamie sat with her which kept her mind off the inevitable... the potential battle of life and death.

"Yea," Penny answered, "Xavier usually let's me alone with the whole mental block but this time not to much. I wasn't exactly prepared for it."

"Killer headache?" Jamie asked.

"Yup. I feel like I could use a bottle of advil right now. I don't know how you guys can stand it, the potential for intrusion. I had to teach myself to block it out otherwise they always knew everything about me: mom and Xavier," She held that katana in her hand like it was the only answer she had.

"Well s**t, I'm still having fun so I don't think--"

Quicksilver... Pyro... there is business that we must attend to... gather the Brotherhood, there are plans to be made...

Pietro looked at John from across the room, both of them wide-eyed. Their vacation was over, no doubt about that.

"On the other hand..." Pietro began. "Everyone pack up. I don't care what kind of personal business you have, we're leaving. If you want to live in our house, this is something none of you better bullshit me on."

"As much as I hate to agree with him," continued John. "He's right. If you're with the Brotherhood then pack up. It's time to pay your dues, so to speak."

Someone began to speak up, but Pietro turned in that direction with a dark eye, and Pyro's hand burst into flame thanks to his lighter. They weren't fooling around.

"We're leaving," Pietro said. "NOW!"

OOC: Just so the Brotherhood is clear, we're done with the Beachhouse at the moment, so I'll be working on getting us back to the house. Markus, if you want your character to tag along with the Brotherhood, just act like you've temporarily shacked up with them or something ^_^

IC: They had to take the airport back, as Magneto was not in the habit of drawing attention to himself by directing a dozen of sphere transports across the country. As they were standing there, Pietro noticed the X-Men walking up once again... no doubt on the exact same plane yet again. However, this time things would be quite different. The Brotherhood and the X-Men might have been on non-fighting terms while on vacation, but as far as Pietro was concerned now, they were enemies. For their own sake, they'd do well to stear clear of him.

ooc: uhhh... most of the xmen took the xjet to the beach house. so same plane again nick? ;p not...

Regina was silent through most of the packing and preparing to go home. It wasn't anger that the luau had been spoiled, it was more a case of worry for jacen. Sure he wasn't her boyfriend, but he was Penny's and Penny was her best friend.

Porter watched both her and Penny through all this, careful on what he said or thought, but in his mind he didn't think this was such a great idea. And wondered just what Xavier was thinking.

Yawning, Gen took her seat next to Teagan. "I'm sure I forgot something. I always do when I travel." Gen muttered, flopping down and looking out the window.

Sonya almost nodded off when she quickly sat up. "I knew I forgot something," she said," Excse me, have to go to the bathroom." She climbed over Jamie and Penny and off to the back. After she came out she sighed. "I knew drinking that slush was a bad idea." She then see a ton of drinks and snacks. "Oh I can pass these out," she said cheerfully. She grabbed a tray and put some on and walked out. "Can I offer you anything to drink or to snack on?" She asked Teagon and Gen.

Sasha continued to sleep. There were small bags under her eyes as if she hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Penny, Regina, and Porter moved up towards the front of the jet where Scott Summers was piloting. Porter sat in the co pilot chair while Scott spoke with them. He told them about Kitty's phone call and that they were trying to make contact with one of Xavier's inside men. Once they had more information, they would be sending out the Alpha team.

"We need Green Team, as well," Penny promptly responded, "They're not all trained but we need their abilities."

"We don't know what we're up against yet," Porter answered her, "I don't want to send untrained students onto the field if it's not neccessary."

Penny nodded and knew she would end up being right. Whoever got Jacen didn't do it for kicks. He was the type of guy to run a dangerous game and it seems like it just caught up with him. Besides, if Blair, Sonya and Porter were willing to use their abilities, they'd have the mental advantage.

"We have some brief descriptions from Kitty that we're trying to run through the Cerebro files for any matches. Nobody knows what crowd this kid was running with," Scott answered and told them all to buckle up. They were descending for home.

OOC: I updated the x-men member post with the team divisions. If you have any questions about it, let me know. We decided to do this because from a school standpoint it makes no sense for untrained students to be thrown into a battle unless needed. Green Team is Alpha's main backup and will be used probably in most, if not all, missions.
