Quest beamed. "Let's not keep everyone waiting, then." Still feeling somewhat dazed, she made her way to the stage. It struck her as very odd. Unless she was remembered...No, that couldn't be it. It was her first day here....Something told her that normally new people wouldn't be chosen for the court. Plus, all the people chosen were people that she knew, or at least, saw when they were talking with Sora and Kairi at least. Was it possible that something bad was in plan for them...? The thought made her footsteps falter slightly, but then she kept it up. If something bad does happen, then I'll need to be right by their side...

Sora laughed at Kairi’s reaction to seeing the picture he’d taken of her. She seemed embarrassed, but there was really no reason for her to feel that way. After all, they’d both seen each other at their best and their worst times, so they could handle just about anything. He chuckled as Kairi went on about her picture.
”It’s definitely a keeper,” he told her, and made a dramatic gasp as she told him that she would get him back. ”Well, I’ve got my guard up now, so you’d better be tricky!” He laughed and started to pick up his punch as Kairi did, but couldn’t take a drink right away because he was still chuckling. So he took another moment to look around the room and see that everyone was pretty much dancing or socializing. Then things started to grow quiet, and it took him a moment to figure out why. He noticed that everyone was looking up at the stage, and saw an unfamiliar blonde girl about to announce the King and Queen of the Christmas Eve Ball. He shrugged slightly, knowing it wouldn’t be him or probably any of his friends, and listened with half of his attention as he began to bring his cup of punch to his mouth.

The beverage never reached Sora’s lips, which was probably a good thing. If it had, it would have been spewed out a second later as the girl announced the King and Queen, and it probably would have sprayed all over Kairi. Speaking of the girl, she wasn’t as fortunate as Sora. When it was announced that no other than Sora and Kairi were King and Queen, she started choking on her punch. Sora just practically dropped his cup, scrambled to not drop it, then turned to his choking girlfriend.
”Are you okay!?” he asked, taking a step toward her and about to slap her back or something. She quickly pulled out of it though, and her face was slightly red. He soon realized that it wasn’t just the choking that had made her blush; everyone in the gym was looking at the two of them. Remembering his little klutz move with his own punch cup, his face reddened slightly and he set the cup down. Kairi was very surprised and told him that she was glad they had been chosen together. She didn’t want anyone else to be her King.
”Likewise,” he managed, still shocked and embarrassed, then realized what he said. ”Except your… Queen… Well, you know. Heh.” It was easy to see how surprised he was. It took him a moment to process Kairi’s next statement, which was a suggestion to go up on stage. It was then he realized that all of their friends had been called for the court and they were making their way up to the stage too. He hesitated. Something was off, he could feel it. He was getting that same vibe he’d gotten when he’d been looking for Riku earlier. He had to shove it off as nothing, though, for Kairi’s sake. This was their big night now, especially since they’d been crowned.
”Yeah, let’s go!” he said in a cheery voice, hoping that she wouldn’t be too concerned. He took her hand and started to walk up to the stage. We’re all together, he thought. There’s no way anything could go wrong… especially if everyone’s here… right?

Nothing could ruin this moment... right?

Skyler rolled her eyes as she saw everyone go on stage. She knew she was called she just doesn't feel like being royalty even a princess. As the people moved away she saw Xia talking to Blaise. Skyler started walking toward them getting close enough to hear what Xia said. "Hey,Xia! Your name was called why aren't you on stage with everyone else?And please don't make me go up there." she said as she motioned to the stage."Anyway you asked to find me?"

I get to go to a dance, so nothing can go wrong.
The only way to be sure about tonight, is to experience it firsthand.

"Well, we have to go up right? That's why we were called after all." Blaise said to Xia and Sky. He was suspicious of his name being called seeing as he is new. "Don't worry Xia, I feel the same way."he said. Blaise walked around the gathering crowd and stood where he was supposed to.

Quest felt somewhat jittery. Her instincts were telling her that something was up. She could feel darkness. Both familiar and unfamiliar. One was Riku's darkness, another felt like Sora, but twisted, and one felt like Kairi's only messed up, just like Sora's. Her hands fisted, and she was suddenly glad that she decided to strap her gunblade to her leg, which was hidden by the folds of her lavander colored dress, just in case. Somehow, her years in darkness helped her somewhat. She siddled behind Sora and Kairi. No, the darkness wasn't coming from them.....She glanced around. Then where.....? She tilted her head, an uneasy feeling coiling in the pit of her stomach and the urge to keep her gunblade in her hand became stronger. She swore she could hear the Jaws theme song playing somewhere in the back of her head, mental warning bells wailing in her own ears. But as she looked over at everyone who was watching them, she could see nothing wrong. But sight can be decieving, she knew that.

"WHAT?!" Marluxia looked around. He was surprised anyone knew his name, not to mention that he was a 'prince'. That was pretty good, that when you do nothing you can still get chosen for such. So if he actually participated more, then he'd have been the best. At least that's what he thought at the moment. Then, 'but that idiot kid Sora made it too, so the standards must not be high," he deducted with a smirk. As he went to the stage, something felt a bit off; but he wasn't in the mood to notice or care, and the thought left a second after it became. The other people, though, also seemed like they knew something was up. But that may be just stage-fright, so he paid that no heed either.

Xia blushed a little."I feel like I've seen him before..." Xia tried to relax and think back, but got nothing but a familiar feeling. She'd experienced that feeling.. or, rather, non-feeling. "I think he's a Nobody."
