Zeppelin, yeah I suppose. But they had a lot of the same style of music you couldn't just tie into the hippie style of most of the 60's. They had a different style.
So, I still don't agree that disco was the only prevalent type of music in the 70's, there were tons of rock styled bands that were highly notable during that time and I'd say even more so now with the recent decline in music of talent as of the 2,000's +.
I'd say you could call it the Progressive Rock Era.
I mean, Pink Floyd (I'd classify them as both a 60's and 70's band) Yes, Genesis, Black Sabbath, Rush, Led Zeppelin
Now, given all these bands (Excluding Pink Floyd) were formed in the very late 60's. (68/69), that is around when Progressive Rock began to form. They all had a different type of music as they went into the 70's apart from what early 60's music had. You can't fairly combine them with each other as they are completely different types of music. Also, with a majority of this type of music being in the 70's and being frequently played. It has more of a right to be placed in that section rather than combined with music from the 60's or just flat out dropped.
Since the 60's already has it's type of music (As you title as the WTF Age) and this progressive rock was more popular and mainstream in the 70's than in most of the 60's it shouldn't just be disregarded. If 70's rock wasn't popular then there wouldn't have been so many bands making that type of music at the time.
If you reply, don't expect another one from me for a while, my charger is still on the fritz and my computer is about dead.

Don't worry about it, I just don't like seeing my favorite genre of music, what I listened to as a kid, and what's about 70% of the music on my ipod being shafted. D:
I never intended for you to change it anyway since you'd have to write the entire poll again and completely bust the votes already set.
Simple acknowledgment is fine with me.
