His eye stopped its squirming at the soft no. "Very well then," he said with his bass voice. "I see that whatever the problem is. It obviously does not concern me. As he spoke his breath became more visable as what seemed to be some sort of spirit coming out of him. It manifested itself in the shape of a being. the being was a doppelganger. The elf began to walk away, irritated. Half elves and dwarves were not the kind he felt he should deal with. However one in the group was a species he had never seen before. He had to see it. Regardless he left the groupt ot the doppelganger.
*The Doppelganger The doppelganger looked exactly like Tabatha. Except its face was horribly wrong. It had no eyes and its mouth was sown shut. Its had no nose canal and it had a darker complexion. It stood in the same place it was made. Staring at the group.

Leonard began to contemplate attacking the man, because he irritated him, but he found he could. it wasnt a good enough reason just because he irritated him... he could claim he was defending Ailsin... but they wouldnt buy that.
Garoth had stopped digging from above the facility, and swept his massive tail across the ground, taking out some small trees, and a bush. laying down, he waited.

Core backed away a little, "Barick, take Aislin and run," He said to the man. He wasn't going to fight, just flee. He had no energy to fight anymore. His metal wings rose from his back and spread out as wide as they could, which was only about three feet in total between them. He would lift Chiasa in his arms and glide out if he had to.

*The Doppelganger
It stood like a soldier. Nothing made it move. Its ugly head remained fixated on where the group was. The black holes that served as eyes seemed devoid of any life. It truly was a pitiful thing. Then as if out of nowhere a bloodcurdling scream came from behind its sown-shut lips. It was the combination of a monster cry a moan and growl. It was quite loud. However it did not move. It was waiting for something.

Tabatha had now gone into a different room. In front of him were test tubes upon desks for days. As he pulled a book outfrom inside his jacket he began to mumble to himself. he reached for a pen and began taking notes inside it. Then he began going through drawers. This was not his room in the academy. However he needed information.

Gab hissed again, acting like the stubborn eight year old his mind was, and climbed onto Barick's shoulders, a position from which he could launch himself at the thing if he needed to. Just because he was a baby didn't mean he could shred that... Thing.

Leonard decided this thing was threatening enough to try and destroy. letting loose a single panel, the panel shot towards the thing, the elongated of the six ends capped by a red energy blade of his highly destructive energy... but it didnt have its usual one hit obliterate energy to it. it was enough to cut, but not much more. it would take off the foot at the ankle if it hit.

* The Doppelganger
As the panel came closer to it, the two black holes that were its eyes began to glow a blood red. It jumped tremendously high where it clung to the ceiling. It gave another scream and then its eyes went back to a dingy black. Its hands clamped into the ceiling it waited, face fixated on the group. It just so happened that a piece of thread unraveled from its mouth slightly.

Aegina was quick in responding to the elf's actions. Her body started glowing a radiant golden aura again, and so did her eyes. Swords shot up at the doppelganger from the ground under him and the ceiling above him. The swords glowed the same radiant light as Aegina, and were sharp enough to pierce at first touch.
Barick saw the doppelganger and started running away with Aislin in his arms. He also grabbed Gab with one hand so that he didn't get left behind.

Core knew a fight when he saw one, "Come on!" He said and lifted Chiasa into his arms. He ran towards the exit, hoping at least Barick was behind him with Aislin and Gab.

Leonard moved quickly as well, using a barrier to isolate the creature, aegina's swords, and himself from the rest. he would keep it busy one way or another.

*The doppelganger
The swords pierced through it wispy body as it screeched in pain. However it clung to the panel for dear. life. Its eye sockets began to glow a deep red as the thread that kept its mouth shut unwound.

Tabatha ran through the papers picking up 4 books. As he packed his things into a dark leather bag he could feel the doppelganger was getting ready. He nodded and made a loud clap from the other room as so only the doppelganger could here.
*The doppelganger
Hearing the signal, the doppelgangers body began to contract. Each muscle in it started to move as all its energy went towards opening its mouth. As the two slightly pursed lips began to separate a poisonous haze started to leak out in little trickles. Then its lips pursued again. It hung silently. Suddenly it lifted its head and opened its mouth with all its strength. A poisonous concoction of miasma and energy spewed at amazing speed towards the direct area that its attackers stood at. The energy from the beam was its life support so as it finallypasssed through it. Its grasp loosened from the sealing panels and it fell heavily to the ground, dying.

Leonard grinned, then moved his panels, thinking carefully about placement, then with a flick of his wrist, set them spinning, their new configuration that of a large fan, moving faster and faster, making a energy shield and fan, blowing, and blocking the haze, even as he force it into a rift he opened, cutting reality with his previously fired panel, to send it all into a pocket dimension. he kept his barrier up as well, so he was the only one at risk of inhaling the haze.

Chiasa clung to Core as he lifted her up and ran. She looked over his shoulder and watched for attacks.

Once Barick was outside, he didn't stop, he kept running on for a bit until they were a fair distance away from the academy.
Once Aegina saw Leonard handling the Doppelganger, she quickly exited the room to pursue Tabtha.
