 Mamichi would mock distress putting her arm up and pressing the back of her hand to her forehead swooning sideways, " Oh my~ How insensitive of you~ To mention my lack of sight so rudely like this~" Mamichi's tone and comical actions only made it too obvious that one she couldn't see and two she didn't mind mind asking. "But nah we don't have eyeballs... though I figure if I put my mind to it I could likely balance the chemicals and form a flesh and blood body complete with the five or was it six... well the senses that you humans have anyways." she'd say with a shrug, "I mostly wear this shell because it can move faster than my slime body, as well as the previously mentioned disguise benefits. By the way we Maliae are able to sense vibrations but we can't really hear nor do we really feel anything since we have no nerves to speak of. Most any kind of Genjutsu is made for your human senses so they'll have little to no effect on us since you guys don't really understand how we work... then again to be honest we Malaie aren't exactly in the loop ourselves after all we have no organs with which to speak of and yet I'm here perfectly capable of intelligent conversation with you without so much as a hint of a brain in this body. Trust me it's something we're pretty damn curious about as well." she'd say going back to kicking her legs about. Mamichi would digest the information he put forward and also note the scroll he was reading. "A rather interesting one that, considering that my mistress is a Queen of Maladies you should give that one special attention since she'll be likely to slap you with something uber complicated and deadly... though you'll probably only be able to slow it down since you lack the Kekkai Genkai of that Clan..." It became readily obvious that she cared more about Hedoro than herself able to speak so quickly and surely about her but not about herself in the slightest... it was kind of sad to think about it like that. Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be...  Adell raised an eyebrow to her as she spoke. A younger Adell might actually have fallen for her sarcastically agitated reaction. Of course, the kage Adell merely smirked at her. She went onto suggest she could potentially create a body with the senses. And then she would go on to answer why she took the form she did, suggesting she could move more quickly in it. This did certainly seem a rather good reason. Of course the second reason, the one previously touched upon, was unnecessary at the moment. She went on to explain that she could pick up vibrations. However, she couldn't hear, at least not in the same way as humans. She did obviously understand what he was saying, so she must have been figuring it out somehow. She also went onto say that her kind couldn't even feel things through touch. The lack of all these senses seemed rather alien to him. The conclusion of all this was that she was essentially immune to more forms of genjutsu. She would admit, that while her workings certainly perplexed him and others, the same could be said of themselves, as they were essentially just water, chemicals, and chakra with a mind. And of course, if they all originated from Hedoro, that begged the question where Hedoro herself came from. The Mallae would glance down at the section he had been reading, and noted to him the importance of it, given that Hedoro was a "Queen of Maladies" and probably could infect him with a horrid disease. "I'll keep that in mind." Adell would say, curious as he was made cautious by that. To say the least, she did care about her "mother" quite a bit, and seemed to be rather uninterested in herself overall. As mentioned before, it was almost like she was merely an extension of someone else, rather then a normal individual. "To be frank I haven't the slightest Idea how you could work. I can't say I've ever studied to much into how a person works either. But, I have been considering learning to become a medical ninja. I've had some idea for jutsu that could at the same time heal and protect my allies and myself while bringing down my foes." Mamichi hummed happily when he seemed to understand that Mistress Hedoro was someone to respect and fear.Though the moment would pass as he weighed his expertise or lack thereof onto the pile of information she had already spent her time gathering on her own time. Mamichi had recently started to make her own theories about their creation, how they were sustained, and the relation therein to Hedoro, it all focused on a small gem that acted like the nucleus of a cell. However Mamichi wasn't going to speak these things out loud to someone, after all unproven theories and conjecture didn't mean a thing besides their enemies would do far more than kill for a way to easily remove the Maliae from the world. Adell was one of the few people who seemed at least comfortable enough around their kind then again considering the main way the ate was swallowing things whole, drowning them in their substance, and dissolving them, their discomfort was merited to reason. Though there were a few Gels that had symbiotic relationships with humans. Mamichi didn't like to think of them though they were quite strange in their methods of feeding, so much so that Mamichi wasn't comfortable talking about it... and as she though about it the doll's skin would shift color slightly from the pale to a rather warm peachy color. "So Mr. Kage... now that you've read your last scroll there what are ya going to do now?" she had been keeping track as the slot pitter-patter of Slush continued against the hardened gel roof of the warm air-filled hut. Mamichi asked more out of boredom than anything the methods of some Maliae for gathering proteins was something best pushed out of her mind as quickly as possible. Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be... Adell would take in from the scroll methods to give himself 6 arms in a fight, a unique, and potentially very useful ability. He also took in methods to alter his sense, sacrificing sight and/ or sound to enhance other ones. He found one from it that allowed him to draw upon his for elements and the powers of darkness and light all at the same time, an ability that he would find quite useful. And finally, if he truly faced a seemingly unconquerable foe, he now knew of the Goddess sealing technique. It would allow him to seal his enemies inside himself, killing all of them. If and when they eventually returned from the afterlife, Adell would hopefully be able to be strong enough to fight them again, should they ever rear their faces. He would pick up a finaly scroll, one that didn't look at techniques, so much as information about the village itself. He would learn from it what he could, about its history and it's leader. Where the scroll came from, Adell wasn't entirely sure, as from what had been indicated, Mallae couldn't read. If they couldn't read, he doubted they had the means or need to write. Not to mention, from what has been hinted at, they may very well have had a form of hive mind, that would allow them to keep information without needing to write it down, and from what Adell could tell, aging had no meaning to them. The only way for them to die would be for them to be killed, it seemed. He would look through this as he let everything said between them earlier sink in. Once he finished, setting them all in the box and closing it carefully, Adell would bring his attention to Mamichi. She asked him what his intentions were. It was a fairly good question, as he had done everything he needed to do here. He could hear the rain still going, but it seemed to be starting to die down, at least a little bit. Adell stood up, picking up the ornate box in one arm. "Well, I suppose for the moment I can go onto explore the rest of hidden federation. With a place this big, there have to be some interesting things to see and do. And there are a few villages I need to revisit. I know there is still plenty I can learn from them. I guess I should ask, what about yourself. It honestly doesn't seem like much is going on around your village at the moment, aside from our fight outside of it. Mamichi listened rather blankly the Federation eh... It'd been some time since she slummed around this place she was quite bored at least the Kage would be something new. Though she could see something from Adell as he hefted the scrolls a slight light in his eyes that seemed to question their existence and Mamichi would giggle. "I'll come along with you I guess... the Maliae and the human clans here in Substance are only entertaining for so long..." she'd say dismissively throwing the answer at Adell, after all the Maliae were only one clan in the village the rest were human so they obviously wrote the scrolls. Mamichi would hope down off the bench and materialize an umbrella from her person before skipping out into the slushy rain and running around kicking snow around like a child in the rain barefoot and all that it was easy to see that Mamichi wasn't kidding about their lack of nerves making them immune to the feeling things, including the biting cold of the elements that she was kicking around with giggly abandon. He would re-enter the sphere, and return the scrolls, before returning to her. With all of that together, He would head towards the gates, leaving with Mamichi alongside him. He would head from this place towards another warm village, but one that was warm for a very different reason. Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be... Adell would make his travel across hidden federation, not taking too long, overall, to reach the summit of the village he had come to as a child. He kept his mask in his backpack for now, not really having to use it as of yet. He would glance back to Mamichi with a smile, before turning his attention up the mountain path. He called out to her suggesting to her, "Mamichi, what do you say to a race to the top?" He asked her curiously. He would wait for her answer to his challenge with a smirk, kneeling lightly to get ready to move. He remembered as a kid racing his way straight up the mountain, not bothering to take the path in order to challenge himself. There was a spark of his childishness in his eyes. He was that kid again, in a way. No...not quite, he had managed to grow since then, both mental and physically, but also in his capabilities. Mamichi was hot... this place was so hot... ugh... like what the hell!? Humans picked some stupid places to live. However if Mamichi could manage to adapt to this then it would be something great, after all if she rendered Adell's Magma and lava techniques useless then... she might as well have stripped him of his grand advantage over her person. and the thought of being able to fight him with impunity was rather... arousing. Then again... Mamichi couldn't get aroused in a sexual manner this arousal was something different, a lust for sure but not for his body... or at least not his living body. A dead Adell at her feet made her tingle slightly, but then again her brain told her that this was stupid, killing him was pointless and if anything it would just be bothersome... but another part reminded her that he would be taste good... just a thought... it would seem to say and then innocently trundle off to make her think about it really hard. Looking at Adell she would realize he said something... race to the top. And the small pale girl would look and his and walk over and give him a slap on the back. "Sure... just know you're gonna lose." she said with a bit of a confident sneer on her face though she'd look at his back and give a few slaps at it as if she were dusting him off and surely enough a cloud of dusty soot would plume up at the aggressive clean. Mamichi didn't really react then again she didn't have lungs or breath so... that made sense. Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be... It was a good thing that Adell couldn't read minds. As the thoughts going through that not-existent brain were disturbing on a new level. It was apparently... a lust... for the idea of his death, and of consuming him in his death. Such was kind of part of the issue between humans and the Mallae. It was more then just fear for their power and their neigh invulnerability. Fear existed also for their... different sense of morality. There were many among them who had no qualms with using humans, even killing and consuming them, let alone entire species of animal, and causing massive and costly destruction. But even more then that, the idea that they actually got off on it, made some of them nearly indistinguishable from human sociopaths. If peace was to be had, all of the Mallae, including Hedoro herself, would have to learn to consider other beings as more then simply a means to an end. With the Mallae being an essentially single being spread out over many bodies, one could imagine why it could be so hard to empathize or even consider the interests of foreign minds and lives. However, it was something that would have to be dealt with. Adell, though unaware of this latest predicament, had been made quite aware of that threat of this mentality just by talking to Mamichi. Ultimately, he didn't seek war or eradication of the Mallae, and hoped for a chance at true peace. Of course, back in the present, Adell had given his offer to race, with Mallae accepting with a slap on the back. He glanced back to her, seeing the surpirsing amount of soot raised as she asserted her victory already. That there was so much dust left on him surprised him. Perhaps it had been from that battle, given the explosion and so much else. It seemed to upset her a bit even if it didn't affect her. Adell, seeing her make a line with her umbrella, would step behind it. He smirked to her as he said, "Best give it all you got, or you are going to eat those words." He would begin counting down from three, and at one, the race began. He rushed forward, chakra flowing rapidly through his form. From his feet, flames erupted, as he glided across the ground. He combined it with the tree climbing technique, as he flew up the volcano's side, holding himself steady as he ascended rapidly. Mamichi would smirk at the Kage, "Heh... obviously I'm gonna whip your a** Mr. Kage." SHe would say with a grin as he began to count down... that said... slimes weren't really built for speed even this shell wasn't that much faster. Mamichi would start when she saw him move he would move quickly however Mamichi had a plan, an ingenious plan that would guarantee her victory Mamichi simply evaporated as he arced his way up the mountain... strangely when he would look back eventually he wouldn't see her, would it cause doubt? Who knew, but one thing was certain she had a plan for crush the Kage. Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be... Adell would rise rapidly up the side of the mountain. He glanced back towards the slime girl as he moved, seeing her seeming to disappear. It did startle him a bit, but he kept moving. Had she used the body flicker technique, or was it something else. He remembered back to the chunin exams now. He could remember during their match, that she had made herself disappear before, but in truth, she had somehow fused with the rain clouds she created once before. Perhaps it was that technique. Of course he had to keep moving. He could accept if he lost this to her, but he didn't intend to make it easy for her. With all this in mind, he activated the body flicker technique. He would become readily aware of it... one drop, then another, another... the faint drops would start to thicken the parched ground quickly absorbing water and becoming supersaturated repelling the water instead of soaking it up like normal ground which resulted in a flash flood as it poured down the mountain however it would be several minutes before that happened at the moment there was just a faint trickle of water running down the mountainside as the evident sound of hissing erupted from everywhere a volcanic mountain was starting to cool slightly at the drops of water. Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be... Adell would continue moving at high speeds up the mountain, only to feel some of the first drops of water that rained down. Though it surprised him a bit, he didn't stop moving. He knew full well that this was part of her abilities. However, he was uncertain as to why it was water and gel. Of course, even with the rain, it was hardly enough to cool and Living Volcano by any noticeable amount by far. He would keep runnning, using all the techniques he had been together to make it up the side of the volcano rapidly as he could. In a matter of moments, with these combined efforts, he would be nearing the peak. He kept his senses sharp, though, for Mamichi's next actions. As Adell looked around he would notice it... Nothing that is. Whatever Mamichi intended to do it wasn't readily apparent, however as the rain came down his clothes would become saturated becoming somewhat heavier however... they seemed to be a little heavier than they should of been. How strange that was. If he thought on it and registered the weight it would be squarely about his torso which wasn't that odd considering that the body was where the bulk of the water absorbing cloth was. However with the water came that odd tickle again at the base of his spine. Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be... Adell still saw no sign of of her, but the rain was growing heavier. Already his robes seemed to be becoming soaked. Even more disturbing, was the weight of the water seemed unusually great. He could feel himself begin to slow down even as he was still trekking up the mountain. He kept moving, knowing something was wrong. he would quickly formed hand seals as he moved, initiating the inner fire technique. As his chakra flowed through him more densely, his strength would increase, alongside his resistance to heat. Then, flames would erupt all over his skin, hair, and clothes. Despite this, his body, hair, and clothing would be unharmed, However, water would begin to evaporate from him and a good deal of the water that rained down as well would vaporize as soon as it reached him. He didn't know what she intended, but he had to stop the water from effecting him however it had been.
