In her slow and groggy process Mitsu had in fact made it to the market. At least what was open in the market. At lot of the shops hadn't even opened yet, though the vendors with food seemed to be out and about setting up and getting ready for the day. She walked slowly down the street getting many a strange stare as she looked from shop to shop. Finally she came to a halt in front of a shop that looked to have trinkets. There were a numerous amount of tiny things and she couldn't help but think of the fox's shop that they had been in....ages ago.

Stepping up to the door she gave it a try and was surprised to find it open. Normally she would not venture into a place like this on her own. Or any place really for that matter, but her sleep deprived mind wasn't working the way it normally would. Caution to the wind she stepped inside, the door giving a soft jingle as it opened the rest of the way.

The room beyond was spacious like everything else, and smelled heavily of dried herbs and incense. This was indeed like the fox's shop, at least so far. The smell was unmistakable and the little trinkets that littered the place were similar. Approaching one of the counters she stared down at a number of tiny stones, a symbol carved into their fronts. They seemed to range in all sizes and colors and Mitsu found herself wondering what they were for.

At the sound of the mewing Tobi's ears perked to the very top of his head. He too was interested to see where the source had come from though he didn't leave Riyo's side right away. From all the dust he had failed to smell a cat, but sure enough, Blade had uncovered one. Tail wagging furiously behind him he trotted toward the feline barking happily. It was an invite to play.

The cat looked at the dog briefly before hissing, denying the invitation. Slowly, it unfurled itself and peered around Blade, spotting the other feline in the room. Gracefully, it jumped down from the counter and made its way over towards Riyo to give her a sniff as well as to rub up against her leg.

Though amused, Blade wasn't completely certain what to make of the cat. That was certainly not something he expected to see here. Heading back towards Riyo as well, he crouched down to try and get a look at the tag on the collar.

"Jasper, huh? Looks like my grandfather was a cat person," he mused while blinking.

Jasper glanced over at the thief upon hearing his name. Quietly, he just stared back at him before flopping onto his side on top of Riyo's shoe.

"Well, I think your grandfather had fine tastes." Riyo couldn't help but smile as the smaller cat rubbed up against her leg. Secretly, she had a soft spot for small fuzzy creatures, and the fact that he had black fur made her heart melt even more.

When Blade was done examining the cat's collar, she carefully picked up the creature and held him in her arms much like one would hold an infant, hopefully away from Tobi's curiosity. "Hello there Jasper."

The shop keeper had been busy in the back, sorting out her wares and calculating the previous days profits. She paused in her work when the door bell signaled someone had walked into her shop. A potential customer, perhaps?

Making her way to the front of the shop, she was surprised to see a woman from the canine tribe had ventured in, and was quite interested in her magical wards. She had heard form others that a group of travelers had been invited to stay.

"May I be of assistance?" she asked from behind the counter, making sure to keep her tone friend and helpful in case she frightened the girl away. While her general appearance wasn't frightening, with her clothes suggesting of a gypsy heritage, she did posses a pair of horns, pearl colored and pointed backwards. She had heard some of the travelers were slightly skittish.

"This shop deals in items that are of a more mystical kind then most" The shop keeper replied, noting with some concern that the girl did not seem to be well. "They contain enchantments that may protect you from the greatest of evil, or spells to enhance your own strengths. They may even help you to speak would people long passed from this world." She watched the girl move throughout the shop, and hoped she wasn't about to pass out.

Well it appeared her description had got the girls attention. The shop keeper nodded to mitsu's request and indicated her to the counter she had been looking at before. "These items specialize in weakening the magic of the elements, such as earth or fire. The bigger stones provide more protection then the smaller.

There are also these wards" she indicated to another counter, contain various crosses and necklaces with symbols engraved into them. "which help to protect against dark magic. They can also alert you to the presence of it" At the moment none of them seemed to be reacting to mitsu, either suggesting they weren't activated, or they were just phony.

"oh...I'm sorry to hear that.." she said she wanted to protect her friends. What did she want to protect them from? "If I may be so bold to ask..." she said to the girl. "what kind of protection do you need?" If it wasn't magic she needed, perhaps she was in need of something more practical, like Armour?

It seemed she would be forced to talk about him again. But maybe in doing so this lady could help. "T...there is a man. I...I don't know if evil fully covers it." She said softly. "But my friends are in danger because he's after me. I don't want them to be hurt." Suddenly the words started to pour out in the end as well as her tired emotions. The tears started to gather in her eyes but thankfully they did not fall. "I don't know what to do to protect them."
