On another, completely unrelated note, I am officially "Women's Understudy" for my high school play, Noises Off (one of the funniest plays I've ever seen). This excites me to no end, because fifty-seven people tried out for nine parts and two understudies. I was better than forty-eight people, thirty-six of which were probably girls. Go me. (It helps that there's only one girl in the actual cast who I'm friends with, so I don't feel bad wishing that one of the others would just, say, come down with laryngitis or break her leg...)
