James stood up and took out his gun. He placed it next to Tokeru. Then he walk a few good feet away from where Tokeru was." Is this good spot?"

Eden was glad to see a smile gracing her Angel's features as a smile was the only facial expression that deserved to be upon his face as it represented happiness. Her Angel deserved to be nothing less of happy and anything more than happy and she would see to it that he was just that. And since smiles were infectious, especially when it was her Angel doing so right in front of her she could not help but smile back at him and chuckle softly. She noted that he was no longer speaking in riddles and he seemed to be a little more coherent. "You found others and brought them to haven? Who are these characters are you wanting me to give em' some sort of talk so that they fear the big ol' boss or what? I can do speeches and stuff since I'm told I'm loud. And yes, everyone will be here to protect Christmas and everyone will remain alive as far as I'm concerned."
She smiled softly once again when her love kissed her and of course she returned his tender gesture. Also managing to get a hasty hug in before Tokeru began his explanation, Meredith giggled softly as she did so and practically used him like monkey bars for a moment as she let him support all of her weight as she hung from him. "Ah now I understand. Me sparring him without accidentally killing him will be good since I need to get these vampiric abilities under control. I'm too fast and forget how fast I can go, I'm too strong and forget how much strength I have and other things as well but those two are big concerns since I have a niece that I don't want to crush by accident."
Edith had understood Tokeru's explanations well enough to know that he want her to spar with James and that he was going to be giving them barriers so that they wouldn't hurt eachother. She decided that she hadn't sparred in a while and that she was well overdue to test out her vampiric skills and whatnot against others besides elders that she had no hope of beating. As for another hunter, she was feeling a lot more confident when going up against James since he was not a vampire elder and she'd managed to hold up pretty well against Alexz although Tokeru and Sethe had also been attacking her at the same time. "Alrighty so I'm taking it, James, that you aren't planning to use your gun. I don't use mine all that often either. Well let's get on with it."

Tokeru sat on the floor and nodded, closing his eyes. "Guns allowed, barrier stop, protect me will."
He concentrated, and raised the barrier.

One thought race through James' mind. Did she say vampire?!The image of that faithful night. It dug into his mind. He closed his eyes and he drop to is knees. It was like his head was on fire. All the feelings the blood; he could not take it. He fought against it be this the it was to strong.

Tokeru raised the barriers around both of them. Neither of them would feel any pain, but they would fly and react with the exact same force that they were hit. Get hit in the head it would recoil, but no pain would go through.
He noticed James getting slightly angsty. "James, relax past done, present now. Focus, anger make death. Mistake first is. Let emotions go, lesson given,"

A barrier formed around James. Right after that Tokeru voice bounced around his head. James slowly got back up on his feet."Thanks, but I didn't know we had such a wide verity of races in the Haven." He walked over to pick up his gun and walked back."Tokeru is right, but I would like to know why your a vampire. Was it by your chose or forced on you? I can understand why you would keep your silence."

Meredith wasn't all that concerned about her own safety since she was rather reckless and rarely did she ever consider her own personal safety whether it was when she was fighting, hunting or sparring. She was itching to fight when she noticed that there was something wrong with James and for whatever reason he was disturbed by her being a vampire. An instant later and the image of James' mother being slaughtered by a vampire was going through his head and Eden's while her mental abilities allowed her to read and see into his mind. Just as James saw the event, Edith also observed it and was horrified to see his mother fall victim to the very kind of vampires that she herself had sworn to slay so that no more victims like James would suffer such significant losses. No one deserved to see something like that and she wished that he hadn't seen it.
"Hey James I'm sorry to ... er .... see about your mom. I read minds and whatnot so when you had your little flashback I kind of accidentally came along for the ride. Sorry about that. I'm sure her soul has ascended to heaven and if you want me to I can pray for her after we spar unless you're feeling like sparring another time. Either way works. And yes we do have a wide variety of races in Haven. There's everything from people who have been experiments to lycans as well as vampires along with humans who haven't been genetically modified." Eden was definitely one to know just how many people and races there were in Haven since Sethe was an albino lycan while his mate, Kerri was a vampire. Then there was Lydia who was an experiment and a robot of sorts and her brother who was human but could call upon death itself. Complicated, very.
"No need to keep my silence," Edith responded, her mood instantly sinking upon the mention of whether or not she'd been given a choice to be what she was or not. "The truth is that I had no say as to whether or not I became a vampire. I saw an old ex of mine that I thought was dead and he actually ended up kidnapping me if I remember correctly. Despite that indicating factor I let my guard down and he was able to get close enough to sink those damned fangs of his into me. Unfortunately I had no chance as the change ended up somehow being instantaneous and I changed right there on the spot. I don't know how because I've been told that it takes at least a few hours but apparently I was a different case ..."

James put his gun back into its place, and then pulled out his sword."I don't mind I know a few thinks about vampires, and thanks for your concern. But like Tokeru said that was my past and now is the present. We both need training, and I think Tokeru know we are perfect for that. I'm also sorry that you had your curse forced on you. I guess we all have that in common, but we can chat later. It is time to fight!" And with that he ran at Edith.

Eden stood her ground as James blindy charged at her and when the last possible moment she could dodge his charging form arose, she took it and as his momentum carried him past her she made to grab his shoulders and hurl him to the ground, not even bothering to draw her axe. She hadn't learnt how to wrestle officially but she'd observed it and it porved to be pretty effective at times. Meredith followed through with her simple but deadly maneuver since she had used her vampiric strength to assure that he would be thrown to the ground. She followed through by bringing her knee down upon him to pin him to the ground. The chances that she would not be able to throw him to the ground and pin him were very unlikely due to her inhuman strength and speed but she'd stood up against vampires as a human and had lived to tell her tale so it was not impossible for James to stand up to her.
Despite James' question reminding her of a painful memory that burned her and would haunt her forever, she did not allow it to steal her fighting ability away from her. She was rash and sometimes she went into a berserker mode but for the most part she was able to surpress her emotions during battle. However there were certain things that were capable of setting her off and she just became extremely angry or saddened and thus her fighting habits were altered in accordance. She had a temper about her and she was fairly emotional so sometimes her emotions got the better of her. Her emotions, though, were the only reason she still felt a connection to once being a human and not a monster.

James tried to stay up right by jamming his sword into a crate, but her strength was to powerful. And as he was being slam to the see saw her move to pin him with her knee. He acted fast and broke free from her grasp by pushing a pressure point right above her wrist, which make her finger open up and lock into place. So long as he held it.
After the James rolled out from under Edith, and hopped quickly back onto his feet. Then he slow walk around her to check for weak spots. As he did this he focused only on music in his thoughts. It was an old ability he learned before the old man let him join the hunters. He soon was where his sword was, and pick it up by put one foot under it and kicking it up. All in all never keep his sight away for Edith.
He took another ran at her, but this time he was a lot more careful. Once he was close he dropped to his hands and swept her legs.

Daiguren slowly walks out to the docks, his step stumbling slighly as if he had been drunk. His cloths rumpled some, he's pas constant as he walked on word unaware of of his surroundings.

As Edith's finger was locked into place due to a pressure point, she'd swung around with her other fist and had connected it with James to force him to let go of her other hand. It worked and he ended up rolling out from under her and hopping quickly to his feet, circling her and examining her as he did so. She allowed him to retrieve his sword though no enemy of hers would have been granted such a chance as that one. She merely stood her ground once again, watching him as he kicked up his sword and watching him as he eyed her like she was the true monster that she was. It made her think about what it would be like if she was actually enemies with the hunters and joined the vampire coven. It'd be so wrong even though she truly was a vampire now. There was no turning back for her, the moment she'd been bitten it'd been too late for her and boy did she miss a lot of things about her human self.
As James slid toward Edith, yet again she allowed him to come to her and she waited for him to execute a move. When he made a swipe for her legs she jumped up and brought her axe out, the HeartGate axe that she'd found a long time ago. As she was in the air, she managed to flip around so that her axe was heading straight down for James' back as well as herself. He had a chance to recover but the only thing he would be able to do right about now was roll out from under her yet again and this time she was planning to rush him as soon as he decided to roll out from under her, that was if he was able, of course. She was a pretty sore loser and having proved to be so pathetic when matched up against Alexz with others helping her, she felt pretty sucky about needing the extra help and still ending up being useless.

As James almost about to hit Edith jumped up above him. He found she left him an opening to move to, but he stayed in place have her axe drive itself down onto his back. His elbows bent a little, but it looked like it did not hurt at all. James put out his desert eagle and fired three shots at Edith from under his left arm. He needed room to make some more info on her. He also sent a loud shriek shot out thought his mind, which he hoped would make Edith move farther away as well.

The loud noises shocking him out of the his drunken stumbles. the sobering effect on him causes his senses to run in overdrive he pine points where the sots came from. His figure blurred out then he appeared in the shadow of some crates looking a the shooter and the intended target.

Eden had been perfectly aware that she would not kill James by slamming her axe down on his back since she trusted that Tokeru was maintaining his barriers on them. She swung her axe down and had James not had a barrier on she knew that it would have severed James' spinal cord and it would have paralyzed his arms so that he wouldn't have been able to shoot off his gun had there been no barrier. With this knowledge, Meredith smiled as James brought up his gun to shoot at her and she did not scold herself for her move. Under regular circumstances if James would have been incapable of making that move then she was perfectly fine with being hit and would not have to scold herself for it. Instead she allowed the bullets to hit her and since the barrier was there it managed to hurt but not all that much.
As for when the shriek shot out of James' mind and into her own, it was quite dulled by her strong mental barrier. Though Edith was not able to attack people mentally without getting major headaches, migranes, delerium or even blacking out from time to time she was able to defend her mind with amazing skill that was near effortless. Therefore when James attacked her mentally it barely distressed her at all and she merely shook it off. 'Nice try James but my mind's defences are a little harder to penetrate than that. Okay nevermind, they're a lot harder to penetrate than that.' She smiled and made a swift move to duck around behind James' where she then made a move to kick his gun out of his hand.
While Meredith was preoccupying James her hyper-enhanced senses alerted her to another presence that was there with them. Once she'd followed through with her kick that was meant to send James' gun flying she bee-lined over to the crate that Daiguren happened to be behind. As opposed to attacking him right off the bat since she had no idea what he was doing here she merely brought out her axe and sank it into the crate in which he was standing behind. "Hey you," Eden stated casually as she dug her axe out of the now damaged and splintered crate, "what are you hiding from, hm?" She stood there, expecting him to explain himself and fully prepared for an assault of some sort.
